Exercising with Bundle Branch Block Regular exercise can actually improve your heart health -- as long as you know your body and respect its limits. Again, discuss your exercise regimen with your cardiologist. Start by trying paced, low-intensity exercise. In general, avoid raising your heart rate above 180 beats per minute, which indicates you are working out at too high an intensity. Recommended low-intensity exercises for those with heart disease include indoor cycling, rowing, ellipticals, walking and water aerobics. Always remember to stretch and warm up before working out; cool down afterwards. Start by exercising for 15 minutes, four times per week, and slowly work yourself up to 30-minute sessions. Prevent Further Damage There are things you can do to improve your heart health if you have a bundle branch block, or to prevent the condition from worsening. If you smoke, stop: smoking compromises arterial blood flow and can result in further damage to your heart. Additionally, maintain a healthy blood pressure and weight -- modify your diet to lower your intake of sodium, cholesterol and fat.

I am planning to start ketogenic diet and what are the precautions should I take before starting the diet?

I am planning to start ketogenic diet and what are the precautions should I take before starting the diet?
Ketogenic Diet Tips a bottle of multi-vitamin gummies for adults Prepare to get fatigued in the beginning. The first period of ketogenic lifestyle, ranging from a few days to a few weeks, is accompanied by a considerable drop in energy. This is a normal occurrence – it’s simply a way that your body adjust to the new diet style, a phase called the metabolic shift. Registered dietitian Kristen Mancineli reports that you may experience foggy thinking, low energy as well as crankiness. However, after your body gets used to developing ketones as the primary energy substrate, you will have even more energy than before going on the diet. Consume different kinds of fats. Try to splice up your intake with a variety of animal fats (olive oil, fatty fish, nuts, seeds) as well as plant-based sources. Aside from adding more variety to your eating plan, it will improve your overall health. Add more fiber to your diet. Because of the daily restriction for the amount of carbohydrates, you may experience micronutrient deficiencies caused by an insufficient intake of iron, potassium, magnesium and thiamin. The best way to avoid digestive problems is to eat proper amounts of fiber, or take Quality Nature’s Multivitamin Adult Gummies to ensure that you get 100% of your required daily vitamin intake. Transitioning to a ketogenic diet is usually hard. The ketogenic way of eating is a significant long-term commitment, so make sure that you’re ready to stick with it. Check your protein intake. The keto diet is associated with low-to-moderate amounts of protein, so eating too much protein could disrupt your state of ketosis by making your body convert all the excess protein into carbohydrates. Adjust your ratio of nutrients depending on your goal. According to the keto diet researcher Dominic D’Agostino, PhD, the proper macro adjustment for weight loss should be 70% fats, 20-25% protein and 5-10% carbohydrates. Meanwhile, the classic ketogenic diet contains a 4: 1 ratio of fats to carbohydrates and protein, and is intended for the management of drug-resistance seizures.

Stop Binge Eating

Stop Binge Eating

As weekend is around the corner, despite all the green smoothie and healthy stuff that we managed to have. It takes just one snarky email/very unfriendly customer service run-in/inconsiderate neighbor to park in your spot and—the next thing you know—you're knuckle deep in a jar of chunky peanut butter and you don't know what happened to that block of sharp cheddar. The good news: bingeing doesn't have to be your go, their are some interesting coping methods to help you out.

#Tap into other sources of pleasure. "The key to reaching your healthy weight and avoiding binging is to embrace a variety of things that tap into that happy brain chemistry—not just food but friendships, movement, music, art, relaxation, and love."

#Don't forget to eat. Skipping meals or spacing them too far apart means you're setting yourself up for big-time hunger—resulting in you inhaling everything in sight.

#If you're going to indulge, slow down and enjoy it. When you inhale your food, you miss the experience of eating and the pleasure that goes with it, instead practice mindful eating. Slowing down allows you to recognize when your joy in the meal is waning and gives your body time to send fullness signals to your brain

#Make a point to relax. When you're stressed, your body releases hormones that stimulate your appetite for fatty treats like cookies, cake, and ice cream. So try to be stress free more often.

#Drink more water. Sometimes your body thinks it's hungry, when in fact it's just thirsty. Drink a tall glass of ice cold water when you feel hungry; the chilly drink will cause your metabolism to speed up because your body is working harder to warm the water, and you'll feel fuller.

#Clean out your pantry. Bingeing usually happens at home, so if you don't have junk food readily available, you'll be less likely to binge. Fill your kitchen instead with healthy snacks such as carrots and celery, or Greek yogurt with blueberries.

#Get moving. Moderate amount of exercise (about 30 minutes a day) can actually suppress your appetite. Just don't overdo it: Bingeing is likely to occur when people exercise in an extreme way and don't know how to re-nourish their bodies.
