Hormonal therapy may be removing testicles or injection s or some oral tablet. Inj. Zolendronic acid should also be given on monthly basis.

Can numerous fibroids and an enlarged uterus cause bladder prolapse? Why does my gynecologist think my bladder bulging into my vaginal canal is a fibroid even after I was sent to a urologist for stress incontinence issues? My son is entering middle school in the fall. What advice can I give him if he finds himself on the receiving end of cyberbullying? Will a person with Type 2 diabetes under control end up with the need for insulin? Which is better for covering up during a sunny day, light or dark clothes? Also, is there a danger from tanning sprays rather than tanning beds? Is breast cancer inherited? What causes Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and what is the best method of treatment? Can iodine help this condition?

Dear lybrate user, you seem to be having multiple problems, let me try to solve one by one. There could be many reasons for bladder prolapse, but most likely uterine fibroids would cause uterine prolapse. You can get a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound done to confirm. Uncontrolled diabetes may require insulin, you should check it regularly and may continue with oral hypoglycemics if controlled with that. You must use sunscreen cream to protect your self from sun. Some breast cancer may be inherited not all. Hashimoto thyroiditis is autoimmune disease. You must consult endocrinologist.

Hello doctors, my mother had breast cancer operation 3 week ago. Now the doctors are telling me to have chemotherapy. But I don't want her to have chemotherapy and I requested them to give her oral chemo but they are not at all ready to do so? So will oral chemo work or not and is it necessary for chemotherapy. As the doctors have said that they have no guarantee that even after giving chemo the cancer will not be created again . So refer me !

Dear sir, post breast surgery, depending on histopathology reports, size and hormone receptor status, chemotherapy is decided. For breast no oral chemotherapy is done, however if she is hormone receptor positive, hormonal therapy may be done as a systemic treatment, but detailed histopathology reports are required to decide about further treatment, so please share.

Though it's not the chronological age but general condition that is more important but definitely my opinion would be that treatment should be directed to enhance quality of life, the intent of treatment may be palliative. There is no pain in treatment though but ofcourse chemo-radiation may be accompanied by side effects and depending on his general conditions and immunity he may or may not be able to bear the toxicity but I would personally prefer to give palliative treatment and best supportive care to make patient comfortable.

Dear mam, most common symptom of breast cancer is palpable lump, which is mostly painless. Other symptoms can be redness of skin, swelling of one of the breast, lymphadenopathy in armpits, skin thickening etc. If one breast is larger from the beginning, it's normal as there are likely to be some variations, but if suddenly some change is there then need to be evaluated.
