I do feel tired and lethargic alday even if I sleep for 7-8 hours a day. What should I do I have very less time in a day to exercise and at morning times sleep a lot. What should I do? I keep forgetting things even simple spellings? Should I take vitamin supplement's?

Hi. Thankyou for the query. Just randomly taking supplements wont help. First you need to know which nutrients you are deficient in. Get your vitamin B12 tested along with haemoglobin, vitamin D, thyroid profile and sugar levels.

there is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. i will give you a general approach to try for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If not enough then consult to get treatmentas per metabolic status. 1. do not eat anything sugary or sweet. 2. eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner 3. do atleast 30 min of exercise every day of any kind

Hi, a symptom common to all liver disease is jaundice. It is a result of increased bilirubin, a breakdown product of rbc cells, is normally excreted with bile in the stools. This is responsible for the characteristics colour of stools. However, in jaundice, the pigment is not excreted in the stools, thus making them appear chalky white. Bilirubin accumulates in blood and impart a yellow colour to the skin and sclera of the eyes. The urine also appear dark yellow or brown due to the presence of bilirubin. For gain weight_ foods like flour, rice, honey, raisins, figs, dates butter, suger, cream, jam can help increase weight. Sweet substance can increase weight better than fatty foods. Germinated wheat is also extremely beneficial if taken in form of gruel mixed with hot mik.

Take diet for hypothyroidism:- high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread, Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, Avoid few foods in hypothroidism i.e. caffeine products tea,coffee, tabcco, alcohol / wine , kale, broccoli, spinach, mustard green, cabbage, turnip, millet, cassava, linseeds, pine nuts, soy products as soy milk, tofu, soybeans, soy souce, also avoid stress. To prevent pimples, eating fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided. To begin with- Take fruit diet once in a week, which consist of fresh juice, fruits, coconut water and vegetable (green leafy). Warm water enema should be taken daily to clean the bowels and constipation. Take a balanced diet with an alkaline base, which consists of sprouted cereals, whole grain cereals and vegetables. Vitamin a, e and b can be used to treat acne. Green tea and walnuts help to keep your skin pimple free. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day is good for emission of toxin from the body. Always try to include low-fat dairy products in your meal. These are a good source of vitamin a. Some natural remedies to get rid of pimples:- Apply hot fomentation to open up skin pores and then rinse skin with cold water. Sun and air baths by exposing the whole body to sun and air are highly beneficial. A hot Epsom salt bath twice in a week will be highly beneficial in all cases of acne. Healing packs made of grated cucumber, oatmeal (cooked), carrot and lemon juice is effective for acne. Cinnamon, Honey, Lemon Juice and Green Tea. And increased metabolism rate helps you to shed the accumulated fat in the body, thus helps you to lose weight. Its consumption also reduces the appetite, which in turn helps you lose some extra pounds. Apart from that it also decreases the abdominal fat. Required Ingredients: Ground Cinnamon – ½ tspHoney – 1 tspLemon Juice – ½ tspGreen Tea Bag – 1Water – ½ cup Process: Take 1 ½ cup of water in a saucepan. Boil the water for few minutes. Add the green tea bag in the water and leave for 5 minutes. Take out the tea bag from the water and add the ground cinnamon, honey and lemon juice to it. Stir all the ingredients well and pour the tea to a cup. Drink this tea regularly to be successful in your weight loss regime. The cinnamon and honey remedy will work more effectively if you take it in a particular time.

I am 44 years old female. I am fully healthy. But have family history of b. P, diabetes thyroid etcc. Kindly suggest me how shall I protect myself from not being diseased in future. I do not do any exercise but I am very conscious of what I eat . Whatever option of exercise I take, I feel too tired and can't pursue the household chores. Other wise I am active the whole day. Hi if your bp is normal than please do this tests 1 fbsl/ppbsl 2 tsh 3 lipid profile if this test comes normal than its confirm that right now you are not suffering from any such disease. Regarding prevention for future you start doing yoga half an hour, aerobic exercise, take healthy diet including more of proteins/ dry fruits, eat less oil/ghee in diet. Eat more vegetables that much is enogh for future protection and after doing yoga you will feel more enertize and you will not tired thanks.

No details about investigations and treatment. Also other complaints. You should see a General Physician o ra Surgeon who will have to record proper detail history, clinical examination relevant investigations like GI Endoscopy or Ultrasound . Once diagnosed, follow the advice of doctor. If no relief see a Gastro enterologist
