Hi, lybrate-user She is gaining weight due to hormonal and metabolic imbalance in body. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement. She had fat deposit on tummy or belly this indicates that she may have insulin resistance. The food which helps in balancing insulin resistance will help her in losing weight faster. All sugar based food is dangerous for this type of body. Protein diet will be suitable for her. Sample Diet Plan Breakfast – Cheese omelets with green salad. Lunch – Vegetables with salad. Dinner – Chicken/Paneer tikka with salad. Snack – Nuts with lemon soda. Suggest Supplements Microfruit tablets daily after breakfast Cytofresh tablets daily after breakfast Lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner.

Dear, low back pain are often referred for physical therapy for four weeks as an initial conservative (nonsurgical) treatment option before considering other more aggressive treatments, including back surgery. The goals of physical therapy are to decrease back pain, increase function, and teach the patient a maintenance program to prevent future back problems. Common forms of physical therapy include: 1.Passive physical therapy (modalities), which includes things done to the patient, such as heat application, ice packs and electrical stimulation. For example, a heating pad may be applied to warm up the muscles prior to doing exercising and stretching, and an ice pack may be used afterward to sooth the muscles and soft tissues. OSee Physical Therapy: Passive PT (Modalities) for Back Pain 2.Active physical therapy, which focuses on specific exercises and stretching. For most low back pain treatments, active exercise is the focus of the physical therapy program. This article focuses on active physical therapy and exercise as a means to help recover from back problems and prevent or minimize future flare-ups of low back pain Low back pain has lasted between two and six weeks, or if there are frequent recurrences of low back pain, physical therapy is often recommended. Some spine specialists consider physical therapy sooner, particularly if the pain is severe. •Read more: Exercise and Back Pain In general, the goals of physical therapy are to decrease pain, increase function, and provide education on a maintenance program to prevent further recurrences. A physical therapy program for back pain usually has two components: 1.Passive physical therapy to help reduce the patient's pain to a more manageable level 2.Active exercises Passive Physical Therapy - Modalities Acutely, the physical therapist may focus on decreasing pain with passive physical therapy (modalities). These therapies are considered passive because they are done to the patient. Examples of modalities include: •Heat/ice packs •TENS units •Iontophoresis •Ultrasound.

I am 30 year female I have back pain last one year. I was done exray but its normal. Please suggest me.
If xray report is normal then I would recommend you to take some precautions and once contact your near by physiotherapist as a physiotherapist will give your physio modalities along with some exercises to help widen the spaces between the vertebrae which hence reduce pressure on the nerves. I am recommending you some physio care please note: precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. Physio care: advice you to contact near by physio to get treatment. In the mean time please follow the i-care treatment that is designed by me specially for back or neck pain. Have tested on many patients and got pain relief: take rest, doesn't mean a complete bed rest. Do not over exert your body. Work take rest and then work so that you do not feel tired and started paining. Treatment- 1. Apply ice or heat (whichever suits you) directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apple it for 10 to 15 minutes only. 2. Relaxing for 5 minutes after ice or heat treatment. Apply any pain relieving ointment eg - volini or oraflame gel etc. Make sure not to do massage with the gel, it should not penetrate the body. 3. Again relax your body for 5 minutes and perform some normal back extension and hamstring stretching exercises to get relief from your pain. Please take advice from physio as he/she will guide you proper exercise plan which will be beneficial for you after checking grade of your back pain.

Just do this small exercise: Sleep with legs raised up from waist against the wall straight up, making 90 degree angle for 5 mins. Its better you do in early morning, else you can do it anytime. This will make your blood flow increased towards brain and increase your memory and physical strength too will be increased. And your knee joint pain will also be relieved. And try to apply ice-packs over it for 2 times in a day for 5 mins. Still if you have any queries, please ask. Take care. :)

You have symptoms of depression. Depression can cause body pains and headaches (psychosomatic) and vice versa. It's good that you have insight into your problems and asking for help. Consult a local psychiatrist and take medication. This will improve your mood related problems and pains too. If pain persists even after depressive symptoms have gone, consult a pain specialist too. Don't worry you will do great.

Chronic backache at your age is mostly musculo skeletal. Pain relief ointments may not be able to give permanent solution because they do not address the primary cause of pain. Back pain maybe due to a variety of causes (pain generators) in the spine like a prolapse intervertebral disc, a compressed nerve root, an intevertebral joint (back joint) hypertrophy and so on. It may be due to muscle spasm or a bone disorder. A systemic disease like arthritis may also lead to back pain. A pain physician shall be able to help you to arrive at an accurate diagnosis by asking relevant questions/investigations and manage your pain in a better manner.
