Yesterday I have sex with my partner. When I have done on first time I will finish in 4-5 minutes. But when I have done for the second time again I finish in 4-5 minutes. But actually I need to stay longer (10-15) minutes in bed. But that's not happen. May I know the reason? Or I need to take some special diet for increasing my stamina.

Dear lybrate-user, Sex is not a 100 mts race. It is something that you should enjoy without any tensions. 4-5 minute is a good timing. But if you are still not satisfied, there are natural remedies which can help you increase the timing. Acupuncture also can help you. You have to avoid heat generating foods like chicken and egg. Now a days everyone is behind weight loss programs. But at the same time there are many people struggling with weight loss. Weight loss can result from a decrease in body fluid, muscle mass, or fat. Other causes of weight loss include, but are not limited to, cancer, viral infection (such as CMV or HIV), gastroenteritis, parasite infection, depression, bowel diseases, and overactive thyroid. If the secondary causes are ruled out you can try following steps for weight gain. 1.Eat lot of proteins. Protein forms the building blocks of your muscles. Eating sufficient protein is required to gain muscle weight instead of just fat. If you're trying to gain weight, aim for 0.7-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight (1.5 - 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram. High protein foods include meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts and others. Protein supplements like whey protein can also be useful if you struggle to get enough protein in your diet. 2.Eat at least 3 meals per day and make sure to eat plenty of fat and carb 3.Eat lot of energy dense food. Add lot of spices, condiments and sauces sothat the food becomes tasty and you can take more of it. Energy dense foods are Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc. Dried fruit: Raisins, dates, prunes and others. High-fat dairy: Whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cheese, cream. Fats and Oils: Extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. Grains: Whole grains like oats and brown rice. Meat: Chicken, beef, pork, lamb, etc. Choose fattier cuts. Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams. Dark chocolate, avocados, peanut butter, coconut milk, granola, trail mixes. 4.Lift heavy weights and improve your strength. This will help you gain muscle mass instead of just fat. 5.Squeeze in an additional meal or snack whenever you can, such as before bed. 6.Use large plates if you are trying to get in more calories, 7.Good sleep. Sleep is very important for muscle growth. 8.If you have a mix of foods on your plate, eat the calorie-dense and protein-rich foods first. Eat the vegetables last. 9.Don't smoke. Smokers usually experience weight loss. Quitting smoking can lead to weight gain. 10. Drink milk and weight gainer shakes which are rich in proteins, carbs and calories. 11. Don't drink water before meals or along with meals as it can reduce food consumption. 12. You can also try supplements like Creatin Monohydrate. Simply consume 3–5 grams per day. However, it may take three to four weeks to maximize muscle stores. Better to consult a Naturopathic physician before starting any supplements for weight gain.

Little white bumps on the shaft of the penis may be pimples, a skin cyst, or ingrown hairs. Another condition that's normal and no cause for concern is pearly penile papules. These whitish bumps appear on the glans (head) of the penis or along the edge of the glans. If you try to pop them they could get infected. Pimples occurs when penile pores clog with oil, sweat, and debris — just like pimples on your face. They have a a whitish appearance due to trapped oil. Usually you don’t need medical treatment for this, as pimples will subside on their ownTo help the healing process at home, you can use a warm compress to dilate the pores. Be sure to keep the area clean and dry. Don’t try to pop the pimples — this can lead to infection and scarring. You can try aloevera or witch hazel creams but only after consulting a Doctor as the area is very sensitive. Pearly penile papules, also known as hirsutoid papillomas, are small, skin-colored bumps that form around the head of the penis It will be a raised, pimple-like growth on the skin that does not produce pus. They usuallyappear at teenages and are more common in uncircumcised men. They tend to disappear with age. First of all try to identify what it is by consulting a Doctor. Whether it's a pimple or parly penile papsule-both are harmless conditions.

Jock itch (tinea cruris) is a fungal infection that affects the skin of your genitals, inner thighs and buttocks. Jock itch causes an itchy, red, often ring-shaped rash in these warm, moist areas of your body. It can easily be managed by selfcare. Keep the area as dry as possible by always using a clean towel after showering or swimming. Avoid sharing towels. Try to avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing and undergarments. Wash athletic supporters as often as possible. Change clothes and undergarments daily. Treat any other fungal infections you may have, such as athlete’s foot, because they’re similar and can lead to reinfection through contact. Don't share your clothes and towels with others. You can also try applying tea tree oil, Aloevera cream or apple cidar vinegar to the affected region. Try to avoid foods high in sugar and carbohydrates. Also avoid alcohol.

Headaches can be due to many reasons. Headaches fall into three main categories: tension-type, migraine and cervicogenic. Tension-type headaches are the most frequent. Patients who endure tension-type headaches usually feel mild to moderate pain on both sides of the head. The pain is usually described as tight, stiff or constricting, as if something is being wrapped around your head and squeezed tightly. While migraines have a much shorter duration, their symptoms are much more severe, with pain that usually occurs on one side of the head. Migraines can be so severe that they can cause loss of appetite, blurred vision, nausea and even vomiting. Cervicogenic headaches are musculoskeletal in nature. They may be caused by pain in the neck or spine that is transferred to the head. You have to watch your diet as certain food items can trigger headaches. Frequently reported triggers include alcohol, including red wine and beer, artificial sweeteners, caffeine withdrawal, chocolate, processed meats and foods containing MSG, histamine, and tyramine, but you know your body best—so take inventory of any foods you eat often that you suspect may be triggering your headache. Acupuncture can offer effective treatment for any type of headache. Unlike synthetic drugs, acupuncture has virtually no side effects, and the procedures for treating headaches are much less invasive with acupuncture than with surgery. Try to meet a BNYS doctor to avail acupuncture for your headache.

I have been prescribed 40 mg propranolol 3x a day however I feel ok during the day after my morning tablet. So would twice a day be ok instead of 3? Also I was prescribed it for generalized anxiety disorder. I'm worried it will slow my heart rate down too much. Please advise

Propranolol is a beta-blocker that affect the heart and blood flow through arteries and veins. Propranolol is used to treat tremors, chest pain, high blood pressure, heart rhythm disorders, and other heart or circulatory conditions. It is also used to treat or prevent heart attack, and to reduce the severity and frequency of migraine headaches. You should not use propranolol if you are allergic to it, or if you have asthma, very slow heart beats that have caused you to faint; or some serious serious heart condition. Never adjust the dosage based on your subjective feeling. There are alternatives to propanalol like metropolol. Your Doctor will be the best person to readjust or taper the dosage or cahange the medicine. Talk with him. My advise would be never to bank on medicines only for your Anxiety. Practice yoga and pranayams regularly. It will definitely help you to reduce symptoms of GAD. You should also follow a healthy diet. Try to eat whole grains as they are rich in magnesium and tryptophan, an amino acid that your body converts to serotonin which is known to calm and improve your mood. Oats also increase serotonin production and are high in fiber, which helps prevent blood sugar spikes that affect mood. Foods that help regulate and lower the stress hormone cortisol include foods rich in vitamin C, like oranges, omega-3 fatty acids, and magnesium rich foods like spinach and other dark leafy greens. Indulge every once in a while in dark chocolate, which also helps lower cortisol. Avocados, eggs, milk, and meat are all packed with B vitamins that can help prevent anxiety. Some popular natural alternatives to prescribed beta blockers are Magnesium, Potassium,L-arginine, Tryptophan,Antioxidants and St. John Wort. You can also try Acupuncture treatment for anxiety. Acupuncture is particularly helpful for people who want to limit or stop drug use prescription or otherwise. Majority of patients report they sleep better and have a stronger sense of overall well-being after just a few sessions.

You can try this in different positions, including lying down with your knees up, sitting in a chair, and standing. Another way to think about Kegels is to squeeze the muscles of your anus, like you are holding a bowel movement. Hold for five to 10 seconds while breathing, then relax all muscles.

You can try modified atkins diet. It's a double edged sword which will help you to control seizures as well as to reduce weight. The Modified Atkins diet limits carbohydrates to 15 gms per day and emphasizes protein and fat intake for weight loss. Allowed breakfast foods include high-fat meats such as bacon, sausage and ham, as well as eggs and cheese. You can add small amounts of low-carb vegetables to eggs for omelets. Low-carb breads may be allowed in small amounts, as long as the total carbohydrate intake remains within the prescribed levels. You can use butter liberally. Pancakes can be made from soy or almond flour, which are not made from grains. Don't drink fruit juices, which contain large amounts of carbohydrates. For lunch and dinner, mix tuna or chicken salad with mayonnaise, a high-fat, low-carb food. Low-carb vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, onions, spinach, cabbage, string beans, spaghetti squash and Brussels sprouts. Limit fruits to the allowed carbohydrate count, which will add up to very little fruit. If you are a complete vegetarian Tofu, Nuts & Seeds like pumpkin & sunflower seeds, beans,long grain brown rice, cottage cheese etc can be considered as substitutes for meat. You should consult your doctor before starting Modified Atkins Diet. As far as exercises are concerned you can engage in walking, swimming,games like volley ball and tennis etc. Yoga also will be ideal as it will help to reduce the stress levels which is usually a trigger for seizures. Try to have someone around you who can help in case of seizures when you exercise. You can try acupuncture as a treatment for seizures. Acupuncture effectively alleviates epilepsy, a nervous system disorder characterized by unregulated brain cell activity causing seizures. New research finds acupuncture combined with medications is more effective than using only medications as a therapy for epilepsy.
