Hi Lybrate user, your abdomen always feel bloated due to accumulation of gas, it's the 1st symptoms of gastritis. Or it's may be mucous in your stool & may be caused by liver you can test lft &r.e of stool. Then you can contact with me privately. Take care.

Sir my age is 37. From last few months I am suffering from tanning and dark spots on my face. My skin tone is fair. But now my face turning dark day by day. First I thought it is due to sun or heat. Soak 4-5 almonds in milk overnight. In the morning make a paste of them and apply it on your face and rinse it off after an hour or two. You will definitely feel the glow on your face in less then 15 days. (you can add honey, oats and yogurt for quicker results)

Pimples or acne is caused when Hair follicles in your skin gets clogged due to oil, dirt, bacteria or dead skin. Acne generally occurs in people with oily skin but other factors like dead skin, dirt, pollution or hormonal imbalance can also cause acne in people with normal skin. Acne can be reduced or controlled by including some habits in your daily life style. 1. Keep your skin clean – Wash your face daily with an oil control face wash. You can also use a good AHA glow face wash that not only controls oil but also removes dead skin and bacteria. You can also use a good tea tree face wash. By shedding the old dead skin, your skin feels rejuvenated and clean. Apply a good toner, like tea tree toner after washing your face. After toning, apply an oil free and non- comedogenic cream on face. Last but not the least, apply a good sunscreen with minimum 30 spf daily. 2. Face packs – Occasionally apply good oil controlling face packs. Multani mitti + Lemon + yogurt is a good face packs for oily skin beauties. You can apply organic apple cider for 5 minutes after washing your face to kill the bacteria that clogs your pores. Green Tea can also be used as a toner once a day. 3. Diet – Most important thing is diet. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. Reduce junk food intake, colas, alcohol and soda and consume whole grains. Keeping your digestive system healthy keeps your body and blood toxins free. Drink green tea, lemon juice, orange juice and food items containing Vitamin C as it is responsible for maintaining good skin health. Drink at least 10 glasses of water every day. 4. Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.

Neck may get dark complexion if melanin pigmentation of that area is increased or sometimes when the dead cells of skin on that area are not being removed naturally. * you are advised to destress yourself & wear loose collar shirt which do not compress the blood supply around the neck. Try to avoid sunrays & dust falling on your neck. * mix 1 teaspoon of mustard oil in 3 big spoon of gram flour (besan) & add 1 big spoon of oat flour in it. Make paste of it by adding sufficient quantity of water in it. Apply it on your neck for 10-15 minute. Remove it slowly without washing. This will naturally remove the dead cell of neck which give you a good looking neck area after few application.

follow these important tips to get fair colour of skin * avoid to go in strong sunlight and if you have to go in sunlight then cover your face & exposed parts of body before going in sunlight. * Use sunscreen having SPF 15 on face especially in summer and spring season. * Take vitamin -E rich foods like dry fruits, egg and fish as you like.You can take cord liver oil capsule daily. * Take more anti oxidant foods like fruits ( Apple, grapes, melon) and citrus fruits. * Make paste of Papaya and apply this paste on face & exposed body parts and leave it for 15 minutes. It brightens the skin and lower melanin content. You may be having less water due to which you have UTI. It is better to refer to a doctor, but as a general rule you must take 3-4 liters of water daily. Your urine should be clear white colour. If it is yellow colour means you are not taking sufficient water.

Hi,Follow the following medication and guidelines----Start the treatment with single dose of Tuberculinum 1M.After 1 week of this take the below:- * First week- you should take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *second week- take Thuja 1M,drops, single dose , morning empty stomach. *third week- Again take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *fourth week- take Thuja 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *Take Rite -hite tablets from SBL,2-2 tabs , two times daily. *Bio combination no. 21, 4 -4 tabs daily , two times. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Some herbs and other natural supplements can really help keep you healthy. 

1. Aloe vera

A plant whose thick fleshy leaves conceal an emollient extract used in preparing cosmetics and skin creams. This ancient plant has been used for medicinal purpose in several cultures: greece egypt, india, japan and china.

What it does:

Aloe vera extract contains 75 potentially active ingredients that include vitamins, minirals, enzymes, sugars, fatty acids and harmones. It has antiseptic and healing properties, says astudt reported in the indian journal of dermatology.

 The study, published by researches at mumbai, s grant medical college and sir jj group of hospitals, also revealed that aloe vera gel has a protective effect against radiation damafe to the skin. People who apply the gel over a period of time also find their skin more elastic ans less wrinkled. These versatile herbs in the healing of wounds. In addition aloe vera gel, when consumed, acts as a laxative. It increases intestinal water contect. Mucus secretion and intestinal peristalsis

 Aloe vera has a concetration of amino acids ehich are the building blocks of protein. Of the 20 amino acids, 18 are presnt in this magic potion.” “it is a great detoxifier and helps eliminate waste and toxins from the body. It also has cosmetic appeazl because of its anti-fungal properties. Deu to its ability to regenaterate cells, aloe vera helps in wrinkle prevention, combats pimple and acne and removes scars amd stretch marks.”

Who should take it? 

Aloe vera can be consumed internally or applied topically, depending on the purpose. While it is safe for most people, when appiled on the face, a patch test is usually recommended especially for those who have extremely sensitive skin.”

2. Fenugreek seeds

What they are:

Fenugreek is a leguminous asin herb with aromatic seeds. Most of its medicinal properties are in the seeds. For centuries, the crushed or powdered seeds have been used externally and internally for several cures. It can be applied as a poultice for hives, boils and ulcers or consumed to increase appetite, counter appetite loss and reduce blood sugar.

What they do: 

A clinicalstudy by gandhi medical colege, hyderabad, published in the indian journal of pharmacogy shows that fenugreek seed have lipid-lowering efect on people with high blood cholesterol. Those with high lipid levels risk cardiovascular disease including deadly strokes and heart attacks. The study found that cholesterol levels were lowered in patients given 25 grams of powdered fenugreel seed twice before meals.

Who should take them?

“while fenugreek is recommended for people with diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol, it is also good for people who don’t suffer from these conditions,” advise Dr. Ashok jhingan, seior consultant diabetotogist and chairman, delhi diabetes research center. He prescribes 10gms of the seeds, soaked overnight, to be taken on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. “many people also eat the seeds mixed with curd.”

3. Garlic

From the onion family, it’s been a medicinal herb for millennia, even as for back as ancient egypt.

What is does:

Studies show that is cultures where people eat lots of garlic, there are fewer cases of gastric cancer, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

 Research from the central food technological research tnstitute (cftri), mysore, report that garlic and onion increased the activity of two key enzymes involved in cholesterol metabolism.

 Another study conducted by tagore medical college garlic consumption helped heart patients. In their three year study of 432 heart patients, only half of them were given garlic. Those not eating garlic saw no real cardiovascular changes. But the garlic eaters experienced a significant drop in blood pressure, blood cholesterol and mortality rates.

They also experienced less angina, the chest pain heart patient often feel.

 Deodorized garlic tables seem to work as wellas the raw herb in reducting cholesterol.

Who should take it?

Unless you’re allergic to it (very rare), you almost can’t go wrong by adding garlic to your diet. If you dislike the taste, garlic capsules will provede most of the health benefits without the flavour or odor.

4. Turmeric

The spice is made by grinding the roots of the perennial herb curcuma longa. The boiled dried and powdered underground stem of the plant is used as a flavouring and colouring agent and as a stimulant.

What it does: 

The herb has a mild protective effect against colds and flu; in those who get sick, it appears to limit the duration and severity of symptoms. A study by jamia hamdard university, new delhi, reveals that curcumin, found in turmeric, has antiinflammatory and antispasmodic properties and is useful in the treatment of arthritis.

Who should take it? 

This staple herb works for almost everyone and is effective if taken even as you feel a cold or flu coming on. According to the study, the most interesting feature of curcumin is the lack of gastrointestinal effectsdespite is being an anti-inflammatory agent.

 Try this time-testes recipe from Dr. Vivek nangia, head of respiratory disease, fortis hospital, new delhi: add a teaspoon of turmeric powder in a cup of milk and boil for a few minitues, drink the hot brew twice a day. “the herb’s antioxidant and anti-infective properties help build your immunity against colds.’

5. Tulsi

This sacred plant with the fragrant leaves needs no introduction. No plant is more auspicious as tulsi, or holy basil, at your doorstep.

What it does:

According to a study published in indian journal of pharmaclogy, the consumption of 100mg per kilo body weight of tulsi extract helped reduce acid secretion and protect the mucous membrane of thestomach: it can heal ulcers.

Tulsi contains benificial compounds called phyto-chemicals that possess antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial and immunity-enhancing properties that supports the body’s defence against disease and promote wellness.

Who shohld take it?

According to Dr. Issac mathai of soukya, a holistic healing center in bangalore, “tulsi is a good hurb for people suffering from colds and coughs. Many ayurvedic cough syrups contain tulsi, because the herb help mobilize mucus in bronchitis and relieves symptoms of asthma.

 “boil tulsi leaves in water and drink the decoction to ease a sore throat. This water is also good for gargling” adds mathai.

Tulsi capsules are available in the market. Dr. Mathai, who practises ayurveda, says that capsules manufatured by reputed companies may be taken as a substitute for the fresh herb.
