The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency. 1.Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2.Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3.Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4.Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5.Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Add 1spoon honey and chawanprash in morning and evening and have 2 cups of milk wth almonds kishmish banana in morning and evening. Avoid fry spicy junk food and aerated drinks and do 30mints of exercise in the day avoid excess salt and spices. Do deep breathing 5times inhale exhale from left nostril than same from right nostril.

Hi, From your question I could understand that you want to increase your body weight and muscle. We can increase our body weight by taking any foods but it should be healthy. So you should follow a healthy food and lifestyle. So you should include a balance diet which contains fats, carbohydrates and more proteins. Take food 4 or 5 times in a day that include snacks, drink lots of water and try to get proper sleep of 8 hrs continuously. Also make sure that you are doing some physical activities like regular exercise or involve in sports and games. Below are some daily diet suggestions •Breakfast (7.30 am– 8.00 am) Milk-200ml Any types of legumes eg: green gram, black gram, chickpeas etc. Rotis made up of Rice, potato, cereals or wheat Fruits which contains more calories like banana, jack fruit, mangoes etc. •Snacks (11.00 am-11.30 am) Fruit juice odry fruits •Lunch oRice 2 bowl or chappathi 3 nos Dal curry, curd, leafy vegetables If you are non-veg take 1 egg or 1 piece chicken or fish •Evening Snacks Lassi or fruit juice or dates Some biscuits •Dinner 3 chappathy with veg curry It would be helpful if you can provide. •any history of other illness •your bowel habits, sleep & appetite. Underweight is a term describing a person whose body weight is considered too low to be healthy. The definition usually refers to people with a body mass index (bmi) of under 18.5 a weight 15% to 20% below that normal for their age and height group. Low weight may be due to improper diet, reduced assimilation from intestine, illness, metabolism, genetics etc. Thus first we have to rule out any such condition, with this have a healthy diet with more proteins (legumes, eggs, fish, lean meat, vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of water and go for regular exercise. Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, dry fruits, seeds, pulses, mutter, soya bean. Cereals, potatoes, sweet potatoes, plantains etc. Can be useful for gaining weight. Also take vegetables, greens and fruits. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve digestion and absorption of food as well as blood circulation. Eat at regular intervals. Threptin biscuits will be helpful. Homoeopathic treatment will be beneficial to increase weight for you.

If you are underweight and really want to gain couple of kilograms to the current weight, I recommend trying some of these suggestions..Dont go for major changes in your diet a it will make thing worse for you.Start aiming small goals and move forward . Find the one that is suitable for your needs and use it every day • Banana milk shake • Banana 3 times a day • Muskmelon, 3 times a day • Mango with a cup of milk, or mango milkshake • Raisins, 30g daily • Dried figs, 2 times a day • Bran (100-150g) with fruits, ideally papaya • Fruit diet with milk • Cup of hot milk with some honey • Cup of milk, boiled with some almonds, anjeer and date palm • Mixture of white muesli powder, Indian ginseng powder and pomegranate seed powder put in a glass of milk or water and drink for a month • Eat more fatty foods (bitter, flour, rice honey, raisins, figs, dates, etc.)

There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high protein prescribed diet, have paneer, eggs and potatoe daily. Incorporate dry fruits in your diet on a daily basis. Eat a balanced diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian, I being a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problem. hello Neeraj..ya you have listened right about non veg diet if you are non vegetarian...but 1st main thing regular ur diet pattern.its very unhealthy that you skip your meal..take high protein diet..improve your digestive system by digesting your indigested food in the body so walk regularly for good metabolism... drink warm milk with honey before sleeping.. include nuts in your diet.. maximum intake of fruit juices..

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Start your day with the higher calorie foods such as whole grains, nuts, seeds, dairy product. Dry fruits contain more calories than the fresh fruits. Avoid junk food. Add healthy fats to your diet, starchy vegetables like sweet potato, corn etc. Also, check with doctor as it could be due to certain health problems or having a very high metabolism.

Eat lots of protein. All dal. Adadh. Mung. Tuver. Etc. Lots of nuts. Mungfali. Badam. Kaju etc. Friluits. Dal chaval roti. Nimbu pani. Etc. Along with. Liv52 liver tonic 3 times. And walk for 1 hour daily. Above things you have to do for atleast 1 year.

Hye, thanks for the query. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.
