Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Alcohol consumption. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Dont sleep immediately after taking meal.

For the last month I was having this bad taste in my mouth. The taste has gone away somewhat and now I have a loss of appetite and certain foods make me sick to my stomach. I also lost about 5 pounds. What can I have?

From your description you have some infection in your mouth most likely a dental abscess. PLease visit the dentist to find the responsible tooth. It may also be something systemic like in your stomach. Needs clinical evaluation.

Hello Lybrate Users,

I am posting on this topic as many of users have been asking on the same issue.

 

Pros

1. It has nice taste.

2. Freshness lasts longer.

3. Has good antibacterial property of neem and turmeric.

4. Its soothing action on the cavities and gums.

5. Minimum side effects.

 

Cons:

1. It cannot be an alternative to dental treatment as it cannot reverse progression of disease of gums or cavities.

2. As it soothens (obtundant) effect of clove oil on regular basis misguides the pain response which would end up in the end stages of the disease finally results increased cost of dental treatment in late stages of the disease or the tooth should be removed if caries or periodontal progression goes beyond to save the tooth.

3. The turmeric might cause tooth discolouration in long run.

 

As far as to my knowledge is concern use it just if you want to give a try but I will never recommend on a daily basis.

Green tea is beneficial for body. Green tea is rich in antioxidants, it aids the digestive process in some extent. If you are taking the green tea then you are automatically avoiding the sugar and milk which produces more calories in body. Use honey as a sweetner in green tea. There is no known side effects of taking green tea.

The main aim is to reduce the calorie intake, increase the metabolism and burn fats with muscle toning will sure induce steady weight loss which is effecting in long run. According to Ayurveda it is important to do following things to assure that you reduce weight: 1. Exercises daily. Stretching, Yoga and aerobics will be helpful. Do the abdominal exercises like Cruches, side cruches on regular basis. 2. Do not sleep in day time it causes increase in weight 3. High carb food like rice, sweets, cakes, chocolates, creams, biscuits should be avoided. Wheat chapati, roti, phulka are preferable with sabji. 4. Running should be done at least for 30 min daily. 5. Try not to sit at a place for long time. 6. Avoid sweet juices, pizzas,fries, cheese, butter in your diet. 7. Avoid oily, spicy, salty food to ensure steady weight loss 8. Indulge in activities like swimming, Badminton, football as they help to increase your metabolism. 9. Notice your calorie intake and adjust it according to burn fat (help of a dietitian may be required) 10. Dont have curd, banana, chiku, cold food, junk food at all. 11. Use cycle or walk than using your car or bike to commute. Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. Diabetes can not be cured. To treat it you have to take modern medicines plus restricted diet and also have to regular exercise. The medicine mentioned by you is unlikely to help even in controling the blood glucose. Thanks.

Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Your liver is not working normaly thats why your too much eating go west. Take liv 52 syrup 1 spoon 30 minuties before lunch end dinner for 3 month. Add in your food carbohydrates, proteins, vitamines, minirales, sweets, dry fruites, fruites spacialy take papaya 1/2kg daily 250 g after lunch end 250 g after dinner for best.

Kiwi should be given only in mashed form. Your weight is controlled by 4 major factors (1) Refined sugar consumption (2) Exercise and Hydration (3) Posture and sitting (4) How many times do you indulge yourself - alcohol, binge eating at parties, overeating etc. Step 01: Refined Sugar 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. Step 02: Get exercise and proper hydration 1. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water. Step 03: Improve posture and sitting habits If you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. Step 04: Stop indulging and eat more of raw natural stuff 1. No more than 60 ML of hard Liqour or 2 glasses of beer per day. 2. Try to eliminate the urge to overeat but if you do overeat try to limit the incidents to two times per week. 3. Eat 4 servings of fruits per day. 4. Each of your meal should contain 50% of raw vegetables. Once you incorporate the above points in your routine you will see a dramatic difference in your weight, physical shape and energy levels. You will find that there are a lot of companies out there that are trying to sell expensive products to naive consumers in the name of weight loss. These products may not necessarily be good for you. Losing and maintaining weight is something which is totally in your hands, it is easy and it is free of cost if you follow the above mentioned points.

Dear lybrateuser, -You have to stop the habit of chewing gutka as it can have very harmful effect on the body if continued for a long time -have a balanced & nutritious diet with more of proteins, you can have eggs, milk, non-veg like fish & chicken, red meat in restricted quantity, milk products like yogurt, paneer, butter milk, have soyabean, legumes, pulses, dry fruits, also have a lot of vegetables & fruits -do moderate weight lifting along with other exercises to build muscles -sleep for atleast 7-8 hrs at night.

Eat right to reduce fat

Fruits should be an important part of daily diet.

Kiddie meals need a proper balance of everything -veggies, protein and carbohydrates.

Make interesting food items, salads and soups with healthy proteins like fish, chicken, paneer, milk, grams, leafy veggies.

Avoid red meat, sugar-laden foods, canned juices, aerated drinks and processed foods.

Staying fit is essential for fighting diseases and leading a healthy lifestyle. Most of the people go to the gym for staying fit these days; however it’s not possible for all due to financial and time constraints. You can find many exercises for weight loss online, which helps you to lose weight within the comforts of your home. Out of the several exercises for weight loss, pick up the one that you are comfortable to do. You can also perform secondary yoga for weight loss. Initially, you may find it difficult, but after some time you will get used to it. Few workouts that can be performed at home for losing weight Bridge exercise is an effective exercise for weight loss at home. It specially concentrates on the abdominal area, hamstrings, the lower back and the gluteal muscles. You can lie on your back by keeping your arms to your sides. Now bend your knees and raise your hips by maintaining the back straight and keeping the feet on the floor. Keep the hips in a straight line with your shoulders and knees. Hold on for 30 seconds and gently retrieve your hips to the initial position. Repeat the process for few more minutes. Bridge is one of the most popular poses in secondary yoga for weight loss. A squat is a position in which you couch or sit with knees bent close to the heels with your thighs staying parallel to the floor. Overhead squats are also a part of the secondary yoga for weight loss. Push-ups: Push-up is any easy exercise for weight loss. Now lower your chest by bending your elbows and retrieve to the initial position. If you find triceps pushup tough, then you can make it easier by keeping your knees on the floor. It is an excellent workout for chest, shoulders and arms. Leaps: Often referred to as skaters, they are excellent leg strengthening workouts. For performing perfect leaps, you can get into a semi-squat position and jump sideways and then land on your right foot. Repeat this process in the opposite direction and land on your left foot. Nowadays there is secondary yoga for weight loss, specialized with leaps and pilates. Bird-dog is a popular exercise, which is a part of the secondary yoga for weight loss. It concentrates on abs, spine, hips, and butt. For doing it, you can begin with a hands and knees position. Point your fingers forward and keep your hands under your shoulders, and the knees under your hips. Gently stretch your opposite leg and arms parallel to the floor. Hold this position for a few seconds without arching your back. Retrieve to the initial position slowly and repeat the process on both the sides. Many people find this secondary yoga for weight loss effective. Walking Lunges are considered to be one of the excellent exercises for weight loss. It helps to strengthen thighs and hips. Stand tall by keeping your feet shoulder-width apart. Now step forward with your right foot, land on your left knee and then on the forefoot. Keep your knees at about an angle of ninety degree. Stand on the forward leg with the help of rear leg. Repeat the process with both the legs. It can be also done by holding a pair of dumbbells in your hands. All the above-mentioned exercises for weight loss are easy to carry out at home. Everyday set apart a few minutes for performing these exercises for weight loss. Within a few weeks, you may feel the difference; your body will become light like never before.
