I am 27 year old female, got married at 22 after my btech. I am in psychological trauma due to so many issues happening with my life. I read and knew we have all the power to create anything or any situation favour to us. I am in deep sorrow for not happening things in favour to me at proper time. I get some suicidal thoughts but I have not courage. My husband almost left 2 kids to me, I am afraid of tomorrow. I either have no courage toto get divorce, or I can't stay alone. I am an optimistic person but it is not reliable to me. I don't have emotional security or any other relationships to cope up.

Breaking up is very difficult and if you don't have any backup plan it can be even more taxing. However, you cannot allow these limitations stop you, if this step is inevitable. There are a lot of people who will support you but you will have to gauge their motives. Where is your family of origin? They are the best support you can get because they can be relied on more than anyone else. If you are without friends that speaks volumes about your social skills and perhaps you will need to develop them to favour a good support system. Through all this you must remember that if it is so difficult for the adults, how much more harder will it be for the kids. So you will need to take the drastic step but make it with proper considerations. Many of us will not dare due to a lot of unnecessary speculation. But when the decision and action is taken, you will mostly fall in line. Hurting yourself is rather silly: no man is worth dying for!!!

I am aged 38. I have been married for 12 years. I lost interest in sex even since I came to know that my husband is a womanizer. But has been just offering myself physically due to fear of breaking marriage. I have two kids now. Somehow hate when he tries to have sex with me. He has no feelings towards me but just want to try out mechanically as if I am an object. How do I get rid of this. He never understands. Feel like divorcing him. As there is no bonding but is forced to stay back due to financial burden as I have two kids (I also work and earn well). How to get rid of such difficult situations? Please help sir .

Hello Ms. Lybrate-user I can understand your turmoil and suffering. I will just suggest a few pointers 1: it is natural for you to feel the loathing towards a womanizer husband. You mentioned you submit to him just to keep the marriage. 2: think about this, normally two people marry and it is expected that they satisfy each other's sexual needs. As long as you feel you loathe him. Your sexual experience is only filled with your hatred for him and thus. A self loathing towards yourself! ask yourself do you hate your self for being and remaining in this situation? 3: if you decided to push aside his womanizing patterns, is he a good husband to you and good provider for his children and you? can you recall any romantic or feelings of love for him? 4: if the answer is negative, and as you said you are earning well yourself, the next question is" why are you opting out to stay with him and hurt yourself by hating him? because your hatred hurts only you and not him. He is enjoying his life assuming you are fine with it the way it is or you can not stop him. 5: so you have a choice to make. There is no medication, no miracle cures, or no god or or saints even black magic to cure him of his womanizing. Either you stay in this marriage and hurt your own self or you get out of it and find your own peace of mind. 6: children always adapt as they grow and some day when you look back they will understand and in fact protect you.

Hi lybrate-user, your friend has gotten addicted to cough syrup. The best way to treat an addiction to cough medicine is by booking into a rehabilitation centre, where the individual will receive supervised medical detoxification as well as group therapy and addiction counseling which will help in educating the individual about their disease and what they must do to get into recovery. Once this has been completed, it is may be recommended that the patient attends a secondary care treatment centre, which may come in the form of outpatient treatment or residing in another part of the clinic that specializes in secondary care addiction issues. In secondary care, patients have the chance to deal with underlying causes & conditions, such as low self esteem or abuse that may hinder their chances of a full recovery or if not dealt with lead them to a relapse. Tertiary care is also available for those who completed treatment and want to assimilate back into work and home life in a structured manner with addiction support to ensure they remain sober and clean. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Insomnia is a sleep disorder in which a person finds it difficult to fall asleep or to stay asleep. Insomnia also includes poor sleep quality, restless sleep, waking up several times during sleep, and feeling un-refreshed or tired after waking up.  Homeopathy provides a very safe, effective and non-habit forming treatment of both types of insomnia — acute and chronic. Since the Homeopathic medicines are sourced from natural substances, there are no side-effects. While Insomnia lasting less than a month is considered acute, if the condition continues for more than a month, it is referred to as chronic Insomnia. There are various causes of Insomnia. The prominent ones are stress, grief, depression, emotional disturbance, intake of stimulants like coffee and alcohol, and a huge number of medical reasons (like heart diseases, breathing disorders, thyroid problems, and rheumatoid arthritis). Insomnia is also one of the major concerns in elderly people. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects Medicines will reach you via courier services

I am unable to concentrate on my studies. So give me any tips to how to get concentrate.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
Stress is not a good indicator for studies. Because of your age you may have hormonal imbalances which may impact your memory because of the chemical but also the distractions that come with it. But you may work on the following even if the hormones kick in: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too.

Hi I will prescribe some harmless but effective flower remedy available in homoeopathy shops. Try to buy original medicines. Mix 3 drops of olive + 3 drops of hornbeam + 3 drops of white chestnut mix these with 100 ml water and drink it every morning and night.(same dose). On empty stomach.
