Taking 2 - 3 dates per day may be helpful to build good health. They are tasty, full of minerals and microminerals and good for immunity. But they are not good for Sugar patients as they push up the sugar level to heights. A borderline sugar person may become diabetic, as the sugar level raises much. Even the de-sugared and dry dates do the same harm. What is the best way out? Or is there any better way to reduce their sugar content or harmful effect?

well sir hav wet dates in place of dry dates.annd if you want you can also soak them in water for sometime.sugar patient can also take them if their sugar in control moderately.and for non-diabetic person they can have 4-5 dates every day as hav natural sugar which not adversely affects our body nd try to cut down artifical or extra sugar which we are using unnecessarily may hlp and individual to be health and diabetic free.hope you get the answer of your question sir.nd if need any other hlp feel free to ask.take care.hav a gud day!

I can't tell you either patanjali products are good or bad but anything in excess can create problems. So you can take sometimes in small quantity but try to take fresh fruits & vegetables & natural things. You should take homemade daliya poha, upma, idli, oats etc. For healthy life include all the food groups in daily meal. Never skip your breakfast, take 3major meals &2-3 small meal. Do regular walk or exercise.

5 Reasons Why Microwaving Food is Only Killing it!

One appliance that has emerged as a lifesaver in the kitchen is the microwave. This product has transformed the way we cook and have our food.

However, we fail to think about the health benefits of the food that has been microwaved!

Here are five reasons why you should NOT microwave your food!


1. Nonionising radiation: Most of us primarily use the microwave to heat up food and to defrost frozen and packaged food. The microwave carries out these processes by releasing a series of heat waves also known as nonionising radiation, which alters the very composition of your food, making it harmful or less than ideal for your system.

2. High temperatures within a short span of time: When we use the microwave to heat up or defrost or even cook something in a few seconds or minutes, the device emanates an unusually high temperature within that short span of time. The result is that the food experiences a great deal of nutrient loss.

3. Consuming a toxic meal: When you heat a pre pre-packaged meal or meat and frozen vegetables in the microwave, it mixes with the toxins released by the plastic packaging thanks to the heat waves within the microwave. This can cause harmful effects on your health in the long run, including cardiac disease and abnormal hormonal conditions.

4. Damage to the Nervous System: Food processed in the microwave can lead to a process called 'shorting out' which alters the electrical impulses in your nervous system and brain. This damage is usually permanent.

5. Cancerous cell growth: Using the microwave to process your food can lead not only to a loss of nourishment but also to an increase in cancer causing substances in food. When ingested, this food can prove to be dangerous.

I am 67 years old male. My sugar and cholesterol levels are within border. But my blood pressure is 175/90. I take inderal 40 two times a day. But the bp does not reduce. I intake less salt in veg. Foods. Daily I walk in the morning. I am a non smoker and non drinker. Pure vegetarian. I take Oats gravy that too without salt. Please advise me. Thanks.

How to reduce my faty belly.
hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Welcome to lybrate, pls don't take any supplement to gain weight bcz it has so many side effects, you should take balanced diet including whole cereals, dals, meat, fish egg, whole milk, fresh fruits, like banana, apple, pineapple, vegetables like, root vegetables, paratha in place of roti, use butter, frequent meal with snacks, and go for exercise daily. Along with gym you should increase your calories.Protein intake should be increased.You can use nutritional supplement for better result.It has no side effects.Avoid fast foods,junk foods.Drink lots of water.Stay always hydrated.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Stay always active.Take quality sleep.

Hi lybrate-user, it's gud to see you working on your health and body. As you mentioned about your problem one thing I want to ask from you is that only green tea you have in your whole day from last one week or you had other stuffs also. If you had only green tea so as to reduce weight its simply a not gud idea of loosing weight by punishing yourself. Dear if you had done this then because of this your body become weak nd you're facing these problems. Now it's your duty to first nourish your body with gud nutritious diet, and if you need you can visit your doctor and tell him about your problems if you hadn't do this thing. And when you feel better you can consult me dear for the proper diet plan for weight loss without harming your body. And maintaining your charm as it is. Hope you take my advise forward. Hello lybrate-user, some tips to lose weight are 1.1. Eat small and frequent 4 -5 meals in a day, instead of 3 heavy meals. 2. Drink 3 -4 lts of water daily. 3. Include high-protein foods like milk and milk products, paneer, dals, soybeans, eggs, chicken/fish (if non-vegetarian). Reduce excess carbohydrate intake like rice, banana, chips, burgers, pizzas, etc 4. Minimize sugar intake in the form of sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, etc 5. Use less of oil to cook your food as well as stop eating fried stuff like puris, chips, samosas, etc. 6. Include 30 minutes brisk walks 5-6 times a week. Your weight is controlled by 4 major factors (1) Refined sugar consumption (2) Exercise and Hydration (3) Posture and sitting (4) How many times do you indulge yourself - alcohol, binge eating at parties, overeating etc. Step 01: Refined Sugar 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. Step 02: Get exercise and proper hydration 1. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water. Step 03: Improve posture and sitting habits If you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. Step 04: Stop indulging and eat more of raw natural stuff 1. No more than 60 ML of hard Liqour or 2 glasses of beer per day. 2. Try to eliminate the urge to overeat but if you do overeat try to limit the incidents to two times per week. 3. Eat 4 servings of fruits per day. 4. Each of your meal should contain 50% of raw vegetables. Once you incorporate the above points in your routine you will see a dramatic difference in your weight, physical shape and energy levels. You will find that there are a lot of companies out there that are trying to sell expensive products to naive consumers in the name of weight loss. These products may not necessarily be good for you. Losing and maintaining weight is something which is totally in your hands, it is easy and it is free of cost if you follow the above mentioned points.

Mr if your sugar levels are not in check first you have bring them under strict control. Because diabetes does affect sexual function. You may take tablet viagra 50 mg about 1 hour before having sex. Try this it may help.

Toned body can be made by proper diet + Exercise. For exercise you need to tone your arms - shoulders - abs - waist - lower waist - thighs and legs. There is no need to go to gym because most of the gym trainers are just body builders who can only guide you for weight lifting and nothing else. You can manage your own fitness at home through a combination of Jogging - Yoga - Equipment free exercises - Skipping - floor exercises. At least spend 60-90 mins every day on body toning. How much time it will take. Depends on what is your current state now and what you want to achieve. But for any clear - visible change at least it will take six months.
