5 Things You Would Experience After Menopause

Menopause is the loss of a woman's natural ability to conceive as she approaches the age of 50. The levels of the female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone begin to drop disrupting the ovulation and menstruation cycles.   1. Increased level of cholesterol: The human body comprises two types of cholesterol primarily: High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) and Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL). The former is known as "good cholesterol". Estrogen helps to keep your HDL high and LDL low. After menopause, the levels of LDL or "bad cholesterol" naturally go up even if HDL levels remain unaltered. Regular physical exercise can prevent the rise in the levels of LDL.
  2. Dry skin: Estrogen is responsible for controlling the production of oil in your body. As estrogen levels fall, the oil secretion falls too. This leads to dry and scaly skin, especially skin of the face and arms. You can use moisturizers and creams to prevent flaking of the skin.
  3. Hair fall: This is also a result of dry skin. The skin of the scalp dries up and cannot provide nourishment to the hair. This causes hair fall. The variability in the levels of the hormones also causes deficiency of certain proteins that are essential for the nails and hair. Use mild herbal shampoos to deal with the problem. Chemical treatment procedures often do more harm than good.
  4. Unsocial tendencies: The irregularities in the production of the female hormones have an impact on your emotional and social behavior. You may want to spend more and more time by yourself instead of socializing with friends and relatives. These are not symptoms of depression or any other psychological condition. It is simply an emotional transference period.
  5. Drowsiness: While insomnia is one of the most symptoms of menopause, the situation somewhat reverses after some time. Menopause causes changes in the body weight, hormone cycles and metabolism. All of these, in turn, affect your energy levels. You feel extremely sleepy during the day, especially in the afternoon. However, sleeping during the day can cause sleeping problems at night. So, do not take a nap for more than half an hour during the day.

Hi, Please follow these tips: Don't get too worried and anxious. Relax well. Avoid drinking coffee or tea after 7 PM, Take hot water bath before going to bed. Have light food and drink a glass of warm milk at night. Listen to soothing music or read some magazines while you are on bed. Keep your mobile in silent mode at night. Do not work on your laptop on the bed or watch TV till late night. Sleep in a dark and silent room. Take tab. Dolo 650mg sosfor headache.

No smoking, no alcohol if any. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2 hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

Hello. For flu and sore throat, need to follow the points: - Take enough rest. - Avoid cold things, fried/ oily food. -Avoid excessive use of voice/ roughly using voice or else shouting. - Gargle with salt and warm water solution thrice daily. - Take Ginger tea. - Avoid excessive cold air or sudden change of temperature (like coming from heat/ sunlight to an A/C room). - Can cover your throat with a stole. Take homoeopathic medications - Schwabe's Eupatorium Perf. 30 and SBL's Stodal cough lozenges – all of them thrice a day daily- for 3 days. Revert me back.

1. Do regular exercise for 30 minutes daily like brisk walking 2. Reduce weight if overweight 3control diet a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot) e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4. It seems as if you are bothered with constipation/irregularities of your bowel habbits. Let me tell you how can your digestive system be regularized. First of all have a look at your life style. Regular sleep and dietary habbits, in most of cases do suffice. Any addictions, may be smoking, drinking, tobacco chewing etc. also have bad effects on digestion. In addition, compulsorily mixed type of salad must be present at each time when you eat.Add fruits of season to lunch. Extra effort for the problem may be taken in the form of 2 spoons of honey added to half a cup of Lukewarm water every morning empty stomach is excellent remedy. A week or so, if followed the above, still persistent, medicines may be prescribed. Not now. Hope satisfied Regards

Fierst and foremost thing is diet control. Avoid sweets, sugar,jagary, honey and seet fruits like banana, mangoe,grapes, cheeku etc. Take your meals at regular intervals. Regular exercise, walking,yoga are also helpful and practice them. If not controlled on these your doctor will prescribe medicines also under guidance of your blood sugar levels.

Diet to Prevent Pimples

Your diet plays very important role to cure acne/pimples. There are many other factors also, which are responsible for the growth of acne but the major one is your diet. Treatment of acne by cream, gel or ointment is not enough. They only suppress the action of the sebaceous (fat) glands temporarily. You can cure acne for a lifetime with proper diet and water intake.

Acne is an inflammatory condition of the sebaceous (that is fat) glands and hair follicles usually found on the face. Acne is characterized by the presence of blackheads, pimples, small superficial sebaceous cysts and scars.

To prevent pimples, eating fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided. To begin with-

  •     Take fruit diet once in a week, which consist of fresh juice, fruits, coconut water and vegetable (green leafy).
  •     Warm water enema should be taken daily to clean the bowels and constipation.
  •     Take a balanced diet with an alkaline base, which consists of sprouted cereals, whole grain cereals and vegetables.
  •     Vitamin a, e and b can be used to treat acne.
  •     Green tea and walnuts help to keep your skin pimple free.
  •     Drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day is good for emission of toxin from the body.
  •     Always try to include low-fat dairy products in your meal. These are a good source of vitamin a.
  •  

Some natural remedies to get rid of pimples:-

  •     Apply hot fomentation to open up skin pores and then rinse skin with cold water.
  •     Sun and air baths by exposing the whole body to sun and air are highly beneficial.
  •     A hot Epsom salt bath twice in a week will be highly beneficial in all cases of acne.
  •     Healing packs made of grated cucumber, oatmeal (cooked), carrot and lemon juice is effective for acne.

I understand your sentiments when you say that you want to control your diabetes without medicines. I want to tell you that it is possible. But only for those patients who are at a very early stage of diabetes which means that they have very low sugar derangement which can be handled by exercise and diet alone. Only way to know that is by trying dietary compliance and good exercise regime. After these efforts if your sugar gets in control then you can be sure that you can avoid medicines. But remember two things. Checking of sugars should be regular. One time control does not mean consistent control. Second, if your sugars are out of control then don't keep avoiding medicines because your body is facing the bad effects of diabetes already.

Hello- Excessive masturbation can cause serious damage to penis in various ways, even though masturbation or hand practice is considered as safe alternate way of satisfying sexual desires. To grow beard you should consume food items which can increase testosterone hormones in the body.

Regular sex cannot replace sessions at the gym, but a having an active, healthy sex life is a nice way to get some extra physical activity. Sexual activity helps keep levels of hormones, like oestrogen and testosterone, in check. When these hormones are out of balance, conditions like heart disease and osteoporosis may develop. When it comes to protecting heart health by having sex, more is better. One study in men showed that those who had sex at least 2 times a week were 50% less likely to die of heart disease than their less sexually active men. Sexual stimulation (including masturbation) and orgasm can help keep pain away. Both activities can reduce pain sensation and increase your pain threshold. Orgasms result in the release of hormones that can help block pain signals. Some women report that self-stimulation through masturbation can reduce symptoms of menstrual cramps, arthritis, and even headache. One study showed that men who had frequent ejaculations (defined as 21 times a month or more) were less likely to develop prostate cancer than those who had fewer ejaculations. If both the testies are swollen you first go for sonography of scrotum. There may be hernia or hydrocele. All the treatment will then depend on the report so please contact with report. Meanwhile ask him to use frenchy like undergarment to support his scrotum to ease pain.
