To reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

I have discomfort in the left trapezius muscle since last 2 months. Have taken homeopathy medicine earlier but no relief. My physician has prescribed calpol 650 but it cured just 20-30 percent. The discomfort is more in the morning This seems to be muscular stress and stiffness. Please suggest a solution. Sometime the discomfort stretched to the left biceps as well.

Dear patient, calorie dense food should be incorporated in your diet like dried fruits, potato, sweets, nuts, jam jelly, banana or mango shake, porridge, badam kheer etc. leafy vegetables should be restricted in your diet as they reduce appetite. you should take 3 major meals a day and snacks in between. butter, margarine should be taken. Adequate amount of egg, meat, fish, milk should be taken as it help you for tissue building in your body.try to take 1 boiled egg at every morning. you should eat more food at each meal. Before taking meal you can walk for sometime as it help to you feel hungrier. Thanks...

You are suffering with inferiority complex with depressive thoughts. You are injecting your mind. I am useless. If tell others I am useless. They will also express the same feeling. In society no one is not perfect. Everyone has their own problems. But they are not express and do not feel I am useless. If you are not capable on one work then select another work. Based on your work performance your confidence will improve. That may develop to overcome from your feelings. Every one has their own capacity realise and analyse your internal strengths based on that show your performance. Then you will enjoy the real taste of yourself. Feel confident. Don't skip breakfast-eating breakfast helps you control your weight. Some people skip breakfast because they think it will help them lose weight, but missing meals doesn't help us lose weight and isn't good for us as we can miss out on essential nutrients, Eat plenty of fruit and veg because they are low in calories and fat, and high in fibre – three essential ingredients for successful weight loss, You should aim to drink about six to eight glasses (1.2 litres) of fluid, preferably water, every day – or more if it's warm or you're exercising, Foods containing lots of fibre can help keep you to feel full, which is perfect for losing weight. Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Dear lybrate-user, The weight gain in the body is due to the more of the calories in your diet than you burn in the whole day. One should eat balanced diet comprising of Carbohydrates-50%, protein-40% and fat 10% in right ratio with a maximum of 1500-1800 calories per day. To keep satiety at meals increase your protein and lower your cabs content, these wills the amount of food in next meal and thus decrease calorie consumption. Good choices of protein to be opted are: •Egg white •Sprouts •Mushroom •Oats •Chicken and fish Drink plenty of water and do not include high density source of calorie rich snacks like nuts and seeds. Make sure to include workout schedule at least 5 times a week along with maintaining rest session and complete sleep for a healthy body and mind.

Don't let more than four hours go by without eating. Eat several foods at once. Eat healthy, but dense foods. Drink your food. Eat right before bed. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day take banana milk shake. Take pranacharaya karsyatanashak capsule twice a day. Take sleep after taking meal drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee. Eat sweets.

5 Ways to Use less Salt
Use spices and other flavor enhancers such as spices, dried and fresh herbs, garlic and ginger, citrus, vinegars and wine. Flavors can be black pepper, cinnamon and turmeric to fresh basil, chili peppers, and lemon juice.
Use the right healthy fats — from roasted nuts and avocados to olive, canola, soybean and other oils.
Searing and sautéing foods in a pan builds flavor. Roasting brings out the natural sweetness of many vegetables and the taste of fish and chicken. If you do steam or microwave food, perk up these dishes with a finishing drizzle of flavorful oil and a squeeze of citrus.
Get your whole grains from sources other than bread. White bread contains salt, not just for flavor but to ensure that the dough rises properly.

Homoeopathic medicines alfamalt (sbl) 2 spoons twice daily sulphur 30 (dr. Reckeweg) drink 5 drops in 1 spoon fresh water today night 30 minutes after eating or drinking anything at bedtime. Hi lybrate-user Ayaz, First of all taking weight gainers won't help you if your diet is not in place! Mass gainers or weight gainers are full of sugar and can lead several problems (Due to toxicity)! Start eating rice, chapati, quinoa, oats, sweet potatoes, potatoes with adequate protein required for your body and you'll start gaining within a week! Thanks.

There are so many reasons of weight loss. Impvove your diet, drink 10 glasses of water daily, eat high protein diet, green vegetables, fruits, almonds, sprouts. Apply honey and lemon on your face daily. Apply cucumber juice around eyes. Consult a doctor for investigations. In ayurveda there are many medicines for glowing skin.
