You are overweight by 15 kgs and yes this will pose a lot of problems if not corrected. You can start with avoiding simple sugars as far as possible, Eating Out' less, avoiding junk and have good quantity of fresh foods which are not processed like fruits, vegetables, soups, salads, nuts, low fat milk, curd etc. Combine these dietary changes with 30 -40 mins walk. Yes you can have green tea. If you are having enough calories and macronutrients in your diet, you should not lose weight. Just remember that you should NOT 'REPLACE'a protein rich energy food with green tea. You should 'ADD' green tea to you existing diet.

There is no easy way to lose weight. You have to exercise and eat healthy to work it off. Start by cutting out refined carbohydrates, bakery items, sugar and oily foods from your diet completely. Go for more fruits, vegetables and protein in your meals. Snack on seeds, nuts,fresh fruits, sprouts etc. Start out with a 30-minute walk daily. Once you start yourself on this lifestyle change you will suddenly notice weight shedding off. Have a high protein, low fat diet to lose belly fat and gain muscle mass. Exercise regularly even if it is brisk walk for 30-40 mins daily. Restrict carbohydrates to complex ones only which are rich in fibre and fill you up with lesser calories. Avoid simple sugars. Eat outside food less .Have good quantity of fresh foods (Fruits, Vegetables) which are not processed in between meals. Eat small and at frequent intervals. Have plenty of water and sleep well. Take care of the posture while studying or working on the laptop or mobile.
