There may be some deficiency which is showing age on you. Start proper homeopathic medicines after giving detailed history. Eat balanced diet and drink lots of water. Start deep breathing yoga and meditation.

Mr. Lybrate-user, fruits to avoided are mabgo, chikkoo, grapes and banana. Other fruits like papaya, water melon, apple, pear, guava, orange, sweet lime and pomegranate can be taken. But only about 100 g a day. Thanks.

Avoiding food is not a solution. Take simple veg food with green vegitabales salad take less food as you fill hungery. Do aerobic excersices yoga will help you fast walking will reduce fast. After dinner go for walking slowly 1 km daily to stop weight gain. Ddr. Tare.

  1. Turmeric: Turmeric powder is one of the most popular herbs that are used to heal injuries. It is best known for its antiseptic characteristics. If there is an inflammation, apply turmeric paste on the affected area for steady and quick recovery. Turmeric kills the bacteria and also ensures that the wounds heal faster.
  2. Tea Tree Oil: This is another great option for healing wounds and preventing infections. The antifungal, antibacterial and antiseptic features of tea tree oil are well known and they are being used in other forms of medication as well. Crush a few tea tree leaves and apply it on the cut or you can apply tea tree oil for 4-5 times a day on the wound.
  3. Potatoes: These common vegetables have great healing capacity. Apply a mashed skin of a potato directly on the affected area and cover it with a soft and clean cloth. Keep it overnight and clean the area with salt water next morning to disinfect. This will sting a little but will ensure quick healing while being an antiseptic.
  4. Aloe Vera: You should grow this plant within your house on small pots as this has many medicinal properties. One them is being an antiseptic as well as a promoter of healing. Break open a leaf and you can apply the gel within it directly on the affected area of the skin.
  5. Coconut oil: Apply coconut oil on the affected area and cover it up with a band-aid. Repeat the process twice or thrice a day and you would be astonished to see how quickly your bruises disappear. Maintain your calorie intake to maximum of 1500/day and try to burn 500 calories per day through exercise the ratio of carbohydrates, protein and fat of the total diet should be: carbohydrates -50% protein-40% fat-10%

Kantiji, Thanks for the query. On treatment with thyroxine, one should be able to maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L, then only all the symptoms are in control. Therefore, your present dose appears to be inadequate. Better to increase by 12.5 mcg, then check TSH after 6 weeks, if level still more than recommended, then the dose may have to be increased again. Thanks.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal....

To reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

hello u need to understand the concept of weight loss, u need to cut down your calorie intake under guidance of dietitian and do exercises like walking or cycling or swimming. avoid fried foods, sweets, carbonated drinks. take small and regular meals like 3 main meals and 2 side meals. include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet alongwith green tea, lemon water. drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. start your day with green tea, apple and 5 almonds soaked overnight n peeled. thank you

Hello Dietitian, I would like to know a best dite chart to loose my weight. I weigh 147 Kgs and now I have woke up and started Gym work outs like only cardio exercise for almost 2 hours a day. But I want a good dite chart and if anyone can please help me, I would really be thankful. I also like to know if I can take these weight loss drinks (Nutrilife etc) to loose weight and is it healthy and do they cause any side effects. Because I am curious that people who are selling it tells me that I can loose 15 Kgs in 25 days the max. Looking forward for a reply. Regards D.

Hello sir it's really appreciable that you are alarmed and doing cardio exercise for the same. You need to understand the concept of weight loss. Ideally it's a slow process. It requires cut down in calories (under the guidance of dietitian) along with exercises which you are already doing. Include green tea, lemon water, salad vegetables like cabbage, carrot, cucumber, kakri, tomato etc, seasonal fruits, whole cereals. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Don't skip breakfast. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Avoid carbonated drinks, fried foods, sweets and processed foods. Drink plenty of water.

Lybrate-user we accumulate weight over long period of time due to unhealthy lifestyle. It is advisable to change lifestyle and expect to see result over few months and not 2 weeks! being fit and healthy needs atleast two thing consistently. 1. Good diet. Eat more fiber/salad and eat less sugar/processed food 2. Exercise. You don't need gym. Go for daily joggging or do floor exercises at home. Finding a buddy to exercise will help a lot. Keep a goal of fitness for year.
