Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Get active. Start excersing. Spot reduction can be attained by excersing. Consume balanced meal of lots of vegetables and fruits and limited fried foods, sweets, baked and salty products.

Hello If you want to gain weight, then it is very important that you do it right. 1.Eat More Calories Than Your Body Burns 2. Eat Lots of Protein Muscle is made of protein, and without it most of those extra calories may end up as body fat. 3.If youâre trying to gain weight, aim for 0.7-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight (1.5 â 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram). You can even go above that if your calorie intake is very high. Protein foods meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts 4. Eat Lots of Carbs and Fat, and Eat at Least 3 Times Per Day. Make sure to eat at least 3 meals per day, and try to add in energy-dense snacks whenever possible. 5.Donât drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. 6.Drink milk. Drinking whole milk to quench thirst is a simple way to get in more high-quality protein and calories. 7. Add cream to your coffee. This is a simple way to add in more calories. 8.Get quality sleep. Consult me for better result.

A Study has analysed the effect of endurance running training on the stiffness index a variable that is directly related to bone quality.The results confirm that the greater the race distance that is trained the better this can be used,therefore, to prevent the progressive decline in bone mineral density that occurs with age.

The changes in the mechanical properties of the bone were measured using the stiffness or rigidity a variable that is directly related to the bone density of the calcaneus.

My HbA1c is 5.6 & MBG - is 100.5, is it normal, r still I am pre diabetes? Pls suggest me. Bcoz thinking that I am pre diabetes I stopped coffee, tea, rice and other bakery items, not even oats biscuits. Whether I can take oats biscuits, millets and chappati's in my diet?

Bhanushreeji, Thanks for the query. Following are the criteria to decide about diabetes : 1)Normal : Fasting blood glucose :70 to 110 mg/100ml, PP<140 mg, HbA1c%<5.9. 2)Pre-diabetic state: FBG108 to 125 mg, PP 141 to 199 mg & HbA1c%5.9 to 6.4. 3)Diabetes :FBG:126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above,& HBA1c% 6.5 and above. Hence you are not in a prediabetic state. But it always good to avoid bakery items or other foods made out of maida. Taking healthy diet always pays off. Tea, coffee are fine. Similarly there is no need to avoid rice. What is needed is total moderation in diet. But better to avoid too much of sweets, deep fried foods, jnuk foods and pastries. Increased intake of green leafy vegetables and fruits is healthy. Plus maintaining normal body weight (about 58 kgs) is necessary to prevent becoming diabetic. A daily exercise of 1 hour should also be very good habit. Thanks.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss.
