Our Daily energy requirements for proper functioning of our body is 1600-2200 K cal of Energy if we want to remain fit and healthy. But there is a misconception that weight is reduced by dieting. But weight is not reduced by only skipping our meals or prohibition from sugars but until we are not aware what are our body energy requirements ,it will be difficult to loose weight. If we restrict ourself from taking daily diet to 1100-1200 Kcalories ,and increases our workouts, only then we can think about reducing our weight and for that we must obtain proper knowledge of exact energy levels in a particular dish we are eating, only then we can achieve our target of reducing weight by means of simple mathematical calculation. It is not very difficult to lose weight. You just have to eat little less and exercise little more. Eat cucumbers, bottle gourd vegetable and two fruits daily. Go grain free for one meal daily. Drink 10-12 glasses of water which include plain water, buttermilk and green tea. Take isabgol every night for 15 days to clear your stomach. Walk for 30 minutes which include 8-10 minutes of jog. It is as simple as that best of luck.

Hello, it's true, persons around the smoker are more sufferer & affected. Then the smoker himself. A smoker, damages his wind pipe & lungs by virtue of smoking but his family members are affected with bronchitis, asthma by inhaling the smoke, thereof. Not only that smoking during pregnancy alters the haemoglobin level & quality of blood, affecting heart condition of both, the baby and the pregnant lady. It may cause raised BP level, loss of sleep during pregnancy affecting the baby after birth. It has been noticed that mother if misses sound sleep during pregnancy the same condition has to be continued by the baby after birth, weeping the whole night for want of sound sleep and the ultimate suffer will be the mother. Please, quit smoking. Your feedback is important for further follow up. Do not evaluate the life, please.

I am a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in managing your weight. You need to provide me your daily food intake details. There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high protein prescribed diet, have paneer, eggs and potatoe daily. Incorporate dry fruits in your diet on a daily basis. Eat a balanced diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian, I being a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problem. I will also prescribe medicines that will speed up the time to achieve your weight management goals. Gradual weight management is always advisable. An increase in 500 kcal per day can result in increasing the body weight by 0.5 kgs per week. Objective should be to restore a desirable weight/ ideal body weight according to one's age, gender and height. To rebuild body tissues, to maintain a good nutritional status and to maintain ideal body weight. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight management, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

Being Over weight isn’t just a cosmetic problem. Excess body fat can negatively affect nearly every facet of life, including: Decreased mobility Poorer emotional health and self-esteem Increased risk of organ failure Poorer circulatory health Increased risk of heart disease Increased risk of stress fractures Increased risk of strokes Increased risk of cancers Fat cells can act as endocrine factories and produce hormones that influence numerous processes in the body — most of which lead to more fat accumulation. Beyond the health of it all, carrying a lower body fat is often considered more attractive and desirable. Bottom line: Carrying a lot of excessive body fat makes health, body composition. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds.
