I have lost a lot of my hair due to dandruff. But after using ketoconazole 2% my dandruff is in under control. Now I am taking omega tablets which also includes biotin 5 mg per capsule. Is it harmful to use omega tablets without prescription? These tablets are multi vitamins tablets too.

Hi, Don't take tabs without prescribtion. Take following homoeopathic medicines * Tab Scalptone (SBL)4 tabs to be chewed twice a day 1/2 an hour after meals *R-89 Drops (Dr Reckeweg , Germany) 10 drops in 1/4 th cup of water ,drink twice a day, 1/2 an hour before meals

Do regular exercise like brisk walking (at least), running, swimming etc. Avoid sedentary and lazy lifestyle. Diet can avoid further possibilities of obesity but the fat has to be treated and the defected metabolism must be corrected which is done by ayurvedic medicines.

Hi, Thanks for the query For weight gain you will have to increase the food frequency and gradually you may increase the food quantity will help you to achieve your goal. You may add add more cereals like oats, pasta, rice, millet, bread etc with high protein like Soya, tofu, Paneer, egg, legumes etc. All the Best for your Health Journey.

Hey lybrate-user, its not difficult. Get moving and it can be done. Walk and run regualarly, do more of lower body exercises like aerobics, lunges, squats, planks, crunches. Also proper diet balanced is required.

Drink half an hour before workout. You can drink 2 glasses of water between exercise. You can drink as much water as you want after exercise.

Hi, To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Have lot of fruits and fruit juices. Take sprouts daily. Eat lot of nuts like almonds, cashew, peanuts. Drink full cream milk, curd, cheese, paneer. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken. Go in for more dals, rajma, kabuli chana. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid fried foods. Eat healthy No need for any supplements. Nature has best products. Go for regular walks / exercise / do yoga. Sleep well. Feel confident about yourself and be positive. All the best.

lybrate-user you should go for personalized diet plan as per your need that would be more beneficial for you as balanced diet is very important. Kam khana is not a solution. Mean while here are few tips for you- Start eating small frequent meals Include whole grains and use atta with bran take high fibre diet which include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables Drink atleast 10-12 glasses of water avoid drinking calories in form of juices and carbonated drinks avoid eating junk food, fried food and maida products try to eat home made food as much as possible move yourself use stairs, walk to near by places instead of using any vehicle include at least 30-45 minutes workout in your routine take sound sleep of at least 7-8 hours, manage stress.

You can take protein supplement for some days not regular. Take protein by eating boiled eggs, cheese, soya paneer, sprouts etc.

Hello doctor I'm very weak .I have very little strength so how to built up a good strength I'm active guy adventurous .BT very weak even 10 years kid can also defeat me in fight .ya I'm very thin weight just 44 height 5; 5 .so please suggest anything a diet plan .exercises .even I can't do push ups only 3 after 3 o feel exhausted and moreover in push ups the chest come closer to floor BT in my case it not happens my chest remains much above then floor.

1. Eat well – Take a balanced Diet comprising of 45% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 25% fat, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Don’t over eat. Avoid junk, spicy, oily, high calorie, cholesterol rich diet don’t skip your breakfast. Take warm, homemade food. Avoid food and drink from outside. Don’t skip or postpone your meal. Minimize consumption of refined grains like white rice, white bread, sugary or refined food. 2. Keep hydrated- Drink 2 liters /8-10 glasses of water daily 3. Do regular exercise for one hour daily like brisk walking/Jugging etc 4. Take adequate rest- 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night is required to remain healthy 5. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation etc 6. Find time for relaxation and enjoyments with friends and family 7. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control emotion, improve concentration and relieve stress 8.Avoid smoking, consumptionof tobacco and Alcohol 8. Develop hobby, Learn new skill 9.Go for detail Annual Health check up.

The most important thing in diabetic is diet and exercise.Both will help you to control diabetes. Because you can't cure it.So do regular exercise.Eat small amount of food frequently.Avoid underground vegetable,raw banana,pumpkin.Take whole fruits,vegetables plenty.Use whole grain,whole wheat,brown rice,brown bread,oats.Avoid fast foods.junk foods,processed foods.Avoid sweets,sweetened juice.Use plenty of protein.Use healthy fat but not much.Drink lots of water specially during meals.Avoid smoking,alcohol.

I am very fatty when I was born but now I am 18 and now I am very skinny what is the problem and how can I overcome it.
Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fruits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.

Hi good to know that you are keen on losing the excess body weight. But your description about your condition is incomplete in many aspects including any tests done and any medicines you are already taking. Just saying I want to reduce my fat cannot help a dietitian give you a scientific advice. For weight loss you definitely need to streamline your lifestyle by any modification that it may require like altering eating pattern, exercise and stress relief. The real need for weight loss is purely motivation from your end. Will require your diet recall to plan a personalised well balanced diet plan. There are may fad / crash diets available on the internet which even if they show results in the short term may have some health implications later or simply helps you gain back more weight then what you have lost. Avoid falling for such tall claims and opt for a slow and steady weight loss.

Excessive masturbation can cause weak body, cheeky face, weak eye sight, graying of hair, less weight, fatigue, general weakness, constipation, less appetite, non-erection, low libido, nightfall and many more. During teenage, masturbation can be done once a week after that it should not be done more than 2-3 times a week till marriage. The vitality and vigour lost due to excessive masturbation cannot be regained back by medicines or food.

Hello, it's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: management: 1: drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: enjoy your favorite foods. 4: have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! medication: start taking schwabe's phytolacca berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months.
