there is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. i will give you a general approach to try for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If not enough then consult. 1. do not eat anything sugary or sweet. 2. eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner 3. do atleast 30 min of exercise every day of any kind

The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency. 1.Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2.Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3.Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4.Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5.Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Yes it may help but only this will not do everything. A balanced diet plan and Yoga therapy fr obesity will work wonders for you.

Hi, try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journey. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have at least one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. Share your weight-loss journey with a family member or friend so that you are accountable to each other. 11. Green tea at least once a day will help you boost your metabolism 12. Sleep helps in repair and regulating your hormones. Sleep atleast 8 hours in a day. 13. Have fruits at least twice a day.

. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories. * you can take medohar guggal of baidyanath 1 tablet daily for atleast 3 months but only under the supervision of ayurveda expert. Hi, this is because of weakness i think, You should increase your diet as you are working hard and burning more calories.Take proper nutrition and a well balanced diet.Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water.please check blood pressure also.

The main cause of obesity is has to find out and you must take note of prefactor like lifestyle, eating habits. In eating habits you should consider indiscriminate calories intake, emotional eating, inactivity. Here diet plays a major role and the third angle of obesity is no metabolism rate. Hi Strict diet, exercise for 30 min a day for atleast 4- 5 days a week will help you. There are new diabetic medicines which not only reduces blood sugars but also causes significant weight loss. As you've already mentioned the reason for your weight gain, Do not sit for more than an hour. Take a walk for a minute after an hour and then you can resume. Also drink plenty of water.

My father is a worker he have problem of diabetes that was checked before 1 month empty stomach 230 after taken food sugar level rises to 270 and today I checked that empty stomach his sugar level was at 150 and after food level was at 180 is this shaw improvement or not or please concern me about some tings that should be avoid.

Comparatively second reading is better. Control of Diabetes is a permanent approach. I presume your father is elderly. Proper Diet which is in time, with no free sugar, more green leafy vegetables, No fast and no feast, Proper regular exercise like walking proper medications as advised by the doctor and regular visits to doctor for follow up is a general approach. .So always depend on your doctor

Daily intake of 2-3 glass of full fat milk is recommended. Apart from this, give him one ripe banana as soon as he gets up in morning. Soak 4-5 badam (almonds) at night and give him to eat with breakfast. Include mango, chickoo and papaya in his daily diet. When kneading dough, mix a tsp of soyabean powder in it and then make roti/chapati for him give him dosa, idli, parathas everything in breakfast. Include eggs in diet at least once a day make milk shakes with fruits he likes if he is not too keen on taking plain milk. Give him spinach (palak) at least once a weak. Include paneer and butter i'm daily diet. Make him run/jog daily 20-30 min as per his capacity. If making a fried item, fry in pure ghee and not oil. Don't make him sleep in day. Make him play for 1 hour at least daily, only then he will sleep on time. Avoid t. V, video games etc after 7 pm.

Generally, people take wrong path to gain weight in absence of proper knowledge and start eating high calories food like pizzas, parathas and other junk foods. One can gain weight but results would not be favorable at all. These things may lead to low metabolism, weak digestion system, apart from that high blood pressure, high sugar and other heart related issues may occur. So this is not at all a good way to gain weight common issues due to being under-weight are: ? Bone loss ? Heart problems ? Infertility ? Anaemia and ? Weak immune system According to Ayurveda following are the foods which are very helpful in weight gain: ? Figs (Anjeer) ? Raisin (Kishmish) ? Ashwagandha powder ? Shtaravi powder ? Hello! the reason is fat generally accumulated 1st in belly area in men. Its known as apple shape obesity. Hello! to be fit take small n frequent healthy meal (5-6 meal a day). Stay away from preserved food, ready to eat foods, deep fried food, sugar n sweet items n do exercise for at least 30 min a day. You need to take care of is good quality protein. Try to take milk n products, egg whites, fish, lean chicken, dal n products etc. With complex carbohydrate n good quality fat (almond, walnut, peanut, flex seed, chia seed etc.) stay away from preserved food, ready to eat foods, deep fried food, excess sugar n sweet items.

I am a 18 year old girl. I am having my periods once in every 15 days. It happened a few months ago for 3-4 time then it went back to normal but now it's been happening again. (3rd time in a row). What should I do to gain fat?
Start taking more nutritious food. Eat frequent healthy meals many times a day. Add fruits, vegetables, nuts and dairy to your diet. Eat oats, almonds and milk in morning. In afternoon, eat chapatis, daal, chawal, curd and salads in evening eat sprouts at night, eat paneer, roti and sabzi during bed time - have a glass of milk also, do exercise to challenge your body. If you want your body to come out of their current comfort stage and increase in size you have to start moving it. Your nutritious food will directly go into your system and will help you grow.

with the exams approaching, the pressure increasing and the anxiety reaching the pinnacle; being able to concentrate on what you study and remembering it is the most important concern of the hour.

 Here are some tips which will help you to concentrate on your studies and remember whatever you have studied:-

* keep your cell phone aside. These days, the cell phone addiction has become more difficult to cure than any other addiction. It is better to switch off your cell phone and keep it in a place far from your reach so that you can concentrate on what you are needed to concentrate on rather than what is pulling your attention.

* make a timetable and stick to it. Make a proper schedule of each day which will include what time will you wake up, when you will eat, when you will take a nap etc. Even include what subject and what chapters you will study each day. This will make your revision planned and hassle free.

* take adequate sleep. It is necessary to sleep at least 6 hours in a day even during exams as your brain needs that much time to recuperate from the stress and strain. Studies have shown that taking an adequate sleep of 6 hours in a day, increases productivity and improves your ability to remember what you have studied that day.

* take a short nap after lunch. The grasping ability reduces after eating lunch and hence it is a good habit to take a power nap of 7 to 8 minutes after lunch.

* keep your body properly fed and properly hydrated. There is no specific food that will help you improve your grasping ability. All the foods are important enough to provide the necessary nutrition to your brain and, in turn, improve its grasping and retaining ability.

* lastly, don't over exert yourself. Stress is only going to make you forget what you have read. If possible, perform meditation for 10 to 15 minutes in the day to relax your mind and refresh you for the whole day of studying.

Hello. Sometimes even after our sugar is above the normal level which is -70 to 130 before meals, -less then 180 after meals, -and at bedtime 100 to 140. We are not diagnosed with diabetes, and sometimes even a small exceed can cause diabetes, its a very peculiar phenomenon. Firstly it is advisable that you make sure you are having this same diabetic range for at least 2-3 days constantly (while having simple food). If this condition persists then you are surely having the problem of diabetes. Secondly get your thyroid checked due to your weight issues. For your exceeded blood sugar consume fenugreek seeds. Take half spoon fenugreek seeds (methi daana) and soak it overnight in one glass of water consume that water the very next morning empty stomach chewing the remaining fenugreek seeds, do it for at least 3 months. Keep away from processed food, sugars and its products as well as refined/double refined oils. You should even start with a jogging regime, walking at least 5000 steps everyday for your over all fitness and health. Lastly make sure you are maintaining a proper routine cycle as well as food cycle everyday. Thanks.

Drink warm water always n do kapalbhati n other yogasana just for 20 min a day. I think you should atleast spend 20 min for your health.
