Hello. The first thing towards achieving our weight status and blood sugar control is, following a healthy life style, which includes having a sleep wake cycle according to the nature's cycle. Eat healthy meals, healthy eating includes, having small frequent meals, which are high in good quality complete protein, coming from milk and milk products, a combination of cereals and pulse, low fat animal products. Having carbohydrates coming from complex sources and not from refined sources. Have less of visible fats in the day, that is coming from oil, butter ghee, etc. Along with this, a daily physical activity, at least for an hour is a must which could include simple activities like brisk walking, running, swimming, playing some sport like badminton, tennis, squash, dancing, gym, or other fitness programs.

hello doctor. Some one in my circle is very much addicted toward alcohol. He is about 30 years old, he consumed alcohol in large amount. And and perform unacceptable activities. After drunk he can't able to take a step. He also abuse family member. please suggest what step taken to get rid off. Is it right to admit him in any hospital like (nisha mukti kendra).

BHMS
Homeopath,
Dear lybrate user, before taking him to any rehabilitation centre kindly try the following therapy at home:- mix 30 drops of homoeopathic mother tincture acid sulph q in a bottle of 2litres of water. Keep that medicine mixed bottle isolated. Whenever the patient asks for water to drink give him that medicine mixed water to drink. Since the medicine is colourless, odourless & tasteless, the patient would not be able to identify the medicine present in water. He will easily drink 2 litres of water in a day. Thus he will intake the medicine along with water without even knowing it. Repeat the same process everyday. This medicine shows effective result by decreasing the craving for alcohol within just 2 weeks.

In high uric acid. Can I eat eggs food. I'm also suffering Vitamin B.12 and D.3 deficiency.

In high uric acid. Can I eat eggs food.
I'm also suffering Vitamin B.12 and D.3 deficiency.
High-Purine Foods Include: Alcoholic beverages (all types) Some fish, seafood and shellfish, including anchovies, sardines, herring, mussels, codfish, scallops, trout and haddock. Some meats, such as bacon, turkey, veal, venison and organ meats like liver. Avoid meats such as liver, kidney and sweetbreads, which have high purine levels and contribute to high blood levels of uric acid. Selected seafood. Avoid the following types of seafood, which are higher in purines than others: anchovies, herring, sardines, mussels, scallops, trout, haddock, mackerel and tuna. Alcohol. Eggs are also a rich source of protein low in purines so that is good for us gout sufferers. ... If we want to replace a meal without eating meat, eggs are a great substitute for that meal since eggs like meat is high in protein and will keep uric acid levels low for you.

Hi firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

Lemon Honey Water And Weight Loss

Lemon Honey Water And Weight Loss

Lemon honey water and lose weight

  • Many a times people complain I drink honey lemon water everyday but still not even a gram down
  • In majority of the cases, this is probably the only effort being taken by many weight-watchers to shed those extra pounds!
  • Warm water with lemon and honey is not a magic potion! it has its own health benefits, but it doesn't burn calories for you.
  • Weight loss is all about burning calories, eating right and maintaining good health. If you are not eating healthy foods or are overeating, the lemon water cannot melt all those extra calories you have consumed. No shortcuts

What are the benefits

  • Drinking water anyway helps keep kidneys healthy.
  • Lemon is very alkaline and helps bring the body back to an ideal balance, which is important for overall health. Plus, downing a big glass of water right after you wake up is a great way to get your digestive system moving.
  • Lemon gives you vitamin c, which in turn helps you to boost immunity, fight infections, fight food cravings, have supple skin, absorb calcium efficiently and much more. But don't expect this vitamin to just burn your body fat!
  • Honey being a form of carb, is an instant source of energy and has many health benefits. It acts as an antibacterial agent, gives you a shot of energy to start your day fresh.
  • Exercising regularly is the only way to burn body fat mass effectively.
  • Lots of vegetables, fruits, sufficient carbs and proteins with a dash of exercise - this will make a perfect potion for weight loss!
  • Drinking lemon water everyday will not harm you. You could reap the health benefits of lemon and honey, but it may not help you reach your weight loss goal! it won't do any magic to that stomach paunch you've got!

Get started people. Shed those extra pounds in the right way!
