Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night.

I doctor I'm 39 yes old female and a bit overweight. Can you suggest some basic tips in diet and exercise to be normal.
There is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. I will give you a general approach to try for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If not enough then consult. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner 3. Do atleast 30 min of exercise every day of any kind.

Weight reduction: regular yoga practices and exercise are vitally important, especially for seniors and long standing obese. But only these two will not lead to weight loss until cut back on sugars and carbohydrates and weight reducing specific diet and herbal supplements. Sugar should be restricted to only five tea spoon=25 gm daily intake and carbohydrates are to be in complex form.

If you are talking about cooking brown rice. yes some B vitamin loss is expected as it is water soluble and heat resistant. But protein loss will not be there. you can still eat brown rice for its goodness in fibre and low starch content. To compensate loss if B vitamins add a cup of sprouts salad to your menu. Hye. Yes, pregnancy test kits are meant to give you the results at the home level. To get accurate results its best advised to take the test after a week of missing the period. But this always needs to be backed up by a blood test especially if it's negative. Sometimes taking the test too early could show false negative results.

Hi lybrate-user tips for weight loss eat fresh vegetables daily. Avoid having sugar completely. Eat whole wheat bread instead of white bread; avoid everything made from white flour and make whole wheat bread, chapattis and brown rice a way of life. Do not skip a meal and eat three meals a day. Drink plenty of water to eliminate the toxins from the system. Limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day. Increase the fiber intake as it provides a sense of fullness and also prevents hunger pangs. Take antioxidants for protecting the body against the toxins released during weight loss. Exercise catalyzes your efforts to lose weight and even regular walking for thirty minutes can give you the benefits of an aerobics exercise. Hello, If the person has T1 diabetes, then the only treatment is taking Insulin injections for lifetime. There are no oral drugs available. The reason being in these persons there is No Insulin production by Beta ells of pancreas. Since Insulin is needed for glucose, protein and fat metabolism constantly, then it has to be supplemented every day from outside. So it is said in Type 1 DM Insulin is needed for treatment and for survival of the patient. Thanks.

Diabetes does spread in families. If both parents are diabetic 75 per cent offsprings are likely to get it. If one parent is affected then 50 per cent of children may get it.
