Can I drink muscle blaze for weight gain? Its so hard for me to gain weight due to fast metabolism system. P.

Can I drink muscle blaze for weight gain? Its so hard for me to gain weight due to fast metabolism system. P.
Hye, thanks for the query. The moment you think of weight gain, whatever is your workout or diet intake, does not justify taking a supplement. You cannot gain weight by just adding a supplement to your diet. Weight gain needs additional calories through a balance of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and exercise. Supplementation totally depends on your present food intake & activity levels. So, for weight gain you need a balanced, calorie dense diet and a good exercise routine. Even if you do gain weight it will reduce once you discontinue the supplement. So, before enough decide to start the supplement first work on a healthy diet and exercise routine.

Health Tip

As a physician, i'm used to my patients asking, what would you do if you were me? when we're discussing treatment options. Over the past few years, though, they started making different inquiries, too, such as: what do you do to stay healthy? how do you find the time to exercise? do you lift weights? do you eat gluten? fat? sugar? how do you get your kids to eat vegetables? and even, do you cook? clearly, they were craving authoritative guidance on living a healthy lifestyle, but they also wanted to know what worked in the real world.

More: 5 healthy eating tips for real-life challenges

They see me as someone who has a similar lifestyle - like many of my patients, I balance a demanding job and family responsibilities - but who also has insider knowledge of what really works and what isn't worth my (or their) time. And from talking to other health-care professionals, I know that my patients weren't the only ones hungry for this information.

That's why I teamed up with the editors of prevention to write what doctors eat. We got health experts from around the country to share their personal eating tips, and as we combed through their tips, we noticed a pattern. Although personal tastes differ, the brain doctor, the cardiologist, the oncologist, the obstetrician, the registered dietitian, and the exercise physiologist all follow the same fundamental eating principles.

Ideally follow one pathy rather than follow two different pathy. Though the intention is same ie manage sugars and your mother's good health, but if any complications occurs then it's difficult to find out what is the cause. You may consider continuing Glizid M.

What Are The Common Symptoms Caused By Genital Tract Infections?

MBBS, DNB - Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fellowship In Reproductive Medicine

What Are The Common Symptoms Caused By Genital Tract Infections?

Genital tract infections are infections of the genital tract in both women and men, with it being more common in women. Genital tract infections can be of three types – infections spread through sexual contact, called exogenous infections or sexually transmitted infections (STIs); infections spread without sexual contact, called endogenous infections; and infections caused due to medical procedures such as abortion, called iatrogenic infections. Some of the most common Genital Tract infections are - bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, yeast infections (candidiasis), gonorrhoea, syphilis, chlamydia, herpes genitalis, etc.

The symptoms associated with genital tract infections can range from no symptoms to severe ones. Women are more susceptible to contracting GTIs and more likely to suffer from complications of the infection. The most common symptoms of GTIs are:

  1. Abnormal discharge from vagina – Foul smelling discharge with unusual colour
  2. Itching or burning sensation in and around the genital area
  3. Pain or tingling and burning sensation while urinating
  4. Blisters, sores, persistent rashes, warts or bumps in and around the genitals or anus
  5. Pain and bleeding during or after intercourseGenital
  6. Lower abdominal pain
  7. Excessive vaginal bleeding during menstruation

The consequences of untreated or undetected genital tract infections can be quite severe in women, especially in developing countries. It can lead to a number of harmful effects on the reproductive health of women, including chronic infection of the uterus and fallopian tubes, cervical cancer, pregnancy complications and more. Some of the most severe effects of untreated genital tract infections are:

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
PID occurs when bacteria are spread from the lower genital tract due to unprotected sexual intercourse, or intercourse with multiple partners. PID can lead to scarring and damage to tissues resulting in infertility, chronic pelvic pain and pregnancy complications.

Ectopic pregnancy
Ectopic pregnancies occur when the zygote is implanted outside the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube. Genital tract infections can cause scarring and block tubal passage which leads to ectopic pregnancies.

Infertility
Long-term genital tract infections that remain untreated can lead to inflammation and scarring of the fallopian tubes, which block the descent of the egg. This leads to tubal infertility in women. Further, the untreated pelvic inflammatory disease can lead to damage of uterine tissue that again causes infertility.

Genital cancers
Certain genital tract infections such as those associated with human papillomavirus have been found to be linked to the development of cervical neoplasia and lead to cervical cancer.

Genital tract infections can become life-threatening if left untreated for too long, thus it is crucial to consult a doctor as soon as you notice any abnormal symptoms of GTIs. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
