If you are a non vegetarian meat and chicken are good sources of protein. The highest. The preparation must be taken care of as frying them or taking with plenty of gravy can affect your cholesterol and spoil effect of protein. Better to boil well. Eggs are considered the reference proteins. Only the egg whites. Not the yellow which is again very high in cholesterol. If you're a vegetarian, some food stuff with high protein content are germinating pulses, dal, toor dal, urad black gram, green gram, channa, etc. Paneer is a good source of protein. Soya is the highest source of protein.

Hye. Thankyou for the query. You can have green tea to replace any aerated drinks or packaged juices. You can have green tea any time of the day. With breakfast and in the evening. Just remember not to replace your meals with green tea as you need good nutrients for growth and development which you cannot get from green tea.

Hi eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. There is no short cut. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure this suggestion will at least help you with initial fat loss. Remember if you are healthy and feel energetic have good fat percentage then weight on scale does not matter.

Dear Lybrate User, It is good that you have kept your weight under control and also have Sugar levels in check. Since you have been at it for 14 years, you should never take it as a hurdle to being fitter and better. To improve your health you can take more proteins. Add fast walk and yoga to your exercise routine. Try to do 5 sets of Surya Namaskar daily. After every week add one additional set. Drink lots of water and take fruits like Apple and Papaya. Take about 10-15 almonds every day. Reduce sugars or refined carbs if any. Improve your health bit and bit and you can stay fit forever.

You seem to be having a condition called gynecomastia for which the only solution is male breast reduction surgery to be performed by a plastic surgeon. Medicines, diet and exercises do not work.

Hello, I am giving you Idea about Healthy diet 1.Consume a Variety of Foods 2.Keep an Eye on Portions 3.Eat Plenty of Fruits and vegetables Aim for 2½ cups o f vegetables and 2 cups of fruit a day 4.Get More Whole Grains At least half your grains should be whole grains, such as whole wheat, barley and oats 5.Limit Refined Grains, Added Sugar The refined carbohydrates in white bread, regular pasta and most snack foods 6.Cut Down on Animal Fat 7.Shun Trans Fats 8.The best way for most people to lower their blood cholesterol is to reduce their intake of saturated fats (as in meats) and trans fats 10. Keep Sodium Down Excess sodium raises blood pressure in many people and has other enated oils in processed foods 11.Watch Your Calcium and Vitamin D These nutrients are vital for bone health. Get calcium from low-fat or non fat dairy products and fortified foods such as some orange juices and soy drinks 13. Be Aware of Liquid Calories

The Golden Milk

Popping pills before sleep can be avoided, if we use kitchen ingredients in our daily food intake.

Kitchen is a great pharmacy where spices are friends of a ‪dietitian and pride of the cooks.

Here is the ‪‎Golden Milk (Fat burner and good night sleep) recipe:

1. Add 100 ml of cow's milk to 50 ml of water.
2. Add 1/2 tsp of organic ‪‎turmeric powder (haldi), pinch of ‪cinnamon (dalchini), 1/4th tsp of ‪‎nutmug‬ powder (jaiphel) and pinch of ‪‎black pepper powder.
3. Simmer it till it boils.
4. Have this warm golden milk an hour before going to bed.

Additional Tip: Use turmeric and black pepper in daily cooking to bust physical and mental stress.

‪Caution‬: Please avoid this milk if you are a pregnant women or if you are taking blood thinners or diabetes medicines.

Dear lybrate-user, this kind of excess weight is breeding ground for many diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain kind of cancers, arthritis etc), which can affect the quality of your life ahead. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it does not reduce weight much. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

Belly fat is due to deposition of fatty tissues on the abdominal area. The depostion of fatty tissue on belly are due to * long time sitting jobs * lack of physical activities * intake of high calories food 1. To get the flat belly, fist take the food having high fibers contents such as fruits, leafy vegetables, oats, corns. Avoid refined carbohydrates & foods having rich fat. 1. Work out for atleast 1 hour in whole day. You can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes or 5-10 minutes running. 2. Practice the spefic exercises that directly stimulate the belly muscles to burn the belly fats. Such as - lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. 3. Do surya namaskar yoga everyday. 4. Eat foods on the time of taking foods like only 3 times or 2 times a day. Do not take food again & again in 1-2 hours. 5. Do not skip the breakfast any day. You can take some dry fruits and skimmed milk in morning for better result. 6. Avoid food containing animal fat such as butter, cheese, eggs, chicken, fish. Instead of them, take plants derived fat such as soya milk, tofu, mustard oil.

For loosing weight few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.

Do exercise like push ups, plank, yoga etc. Eat small amount of food. Do not skip meals. Take watery fruits, vegetables. Protein foods will help you in this regard. Avoid fast foods, junk foods. Drink plenty of water specially before meals. Avoid smoking, alcohol. These are common but for more details about foods consult me privately on lybrate.

Increase in weight, abdominal fat accumulation are bad for health in longer creates problem. Reduction requires, regular yoga practices and reasonable exercises are vitally important but only these two will not lead to weight loss until following weight reducing specific diet and herbal supplements.

If you lift weights in wrong posture or if you don't wear weight lifting belt especially while doing squats, you ate likely to injure your back and have back pain. Otherwise ,if you are careful about posture, warm up properly and wear belt then there is no problem.

Hi lybrate-user 1]water- think of water as a food group in your diet. Always carry a bottle of water in your bag to keep yourself hydrated as well as active throughout the day. Sometimes we don't realise that we just need a glass of water and instead think that we are hungry, so drinking water frequently will save you from overeating but avoid roadside vendors for juices and unpacked water. Take 2-3 ltr of water daily.
