Yes whole egg is best for health but only 1 if you have 2 or 3 whole egg than avoid it you can only 2 white egg because yolk means yellow part of egg cause increase cholesterol in the body.

I am 38 year old prediabetes. I want to know whether I can take sugarfree (sucralose) regularly in my tea and other recipe. I got confused because in corporate hospitals like forte, Medanta dietician do give sugarfree to the patients admitted in hospital .But in these day I read on some website that it is very harmful. Even it causes weight gain more than sugar because it is 200 times more sweeter than sugar.

Hello, I would advice you to have tea with minimum quantity of sugar (1/2 tsp) in 1 cup (even if you have diabetes) or rather have it sugarless. Artificial sweeteners are not a healthy choice.

For proper wound healing, two things are essential 1. Good wound care, 2. Good sugar control. Check with your doctor for adjustment of her insulin and other medication dosages, follow diet advise by him/her. Do proper wound care as advised by your doctor.

For gaining weight, you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. Please take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts. In lunch have multigrain roti + 1bowl dal /palak paneer/ egg white bhurji + 1bowl salad. Evening have fruits shake/lassi/badam shake Dinner: 1-2 paneer stuffed roti/1-2 multigrain roti+ 1bowl dal+ 1bowl salad. Go for exercise.

Scientists now know that the body does not register liquid calories in the same way it does solid calories. Drinking a grande caffe mocha, for instance, won't make you feel satiated the way eating a bowl of pasta will. Which means that although the caffe mocha actually has a greater number of calories than the pasta, you're still more likely to want a second cup from Starbucks than another plate of linguine. So monitor your intake of juice, soda, coffee drinks and wine. If you consume one of each of those beverages during the day, you'll have taken in at least 800 extra calories by nighttime — and you'll still be hungry. (Incidentally, alcohol may suppress the metabolism of fat, making it tougher for you to burn those calories.)

Hi best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Alcohol consumption. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Do not sleep immediately after taking meal.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. There is really no food item or fruit is actually banned for a diabetic person. But certain foods which have a high glycemic index, meaning they convert to sugar (glucose) rapidly in the gut, are to be avoided. Plus it is always good to consume complex carbs as those take long time to get digested to glucose, hence cause a slow increase in the blood glucose levels. Peanuts are good enough about 30 g plus can be taken per day. Good in protein and fats. Beet Root is comparatively sugar rich root vegetable. Should be taken sparingly. Small banana once a while may be fine. But it is converted to glucose very rapidly, hence better to be avoided. Carrot about 50 to 100 g a day may be fine. Not more. Thanks.

The best way to gain weight is by incorporating healthy eating habits. The healthy way of putting on weight is good diet and exercise. Now, you should focus on what you are eating. Increase your protein intake and good fats. Avoid fried foods and sweets. Take more protein rich foods such as eggs, fish, lean meat, soya chunks, paneer, curds. You should aim at increasing weight through proper diet rich in multiple sources of protein, complex carbs, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. Some of the supplements actually have dangerous side effects in both long term and short term use. You should consult a health coach/nutritionist for getting a proper advise on how and which supplements you should use to increase your weight in the right way. The weight increasing supplements that are usually marketed on tv and media have lot of carbs and sugars, which increase your weight by the way of increasing your fat percentage, which is not the right thing to do. Usually 45 days you feel discharge but bleeding occur f third week is usually you don't feel heavier.

Almond milk is also a great way to put on some pounds. Boil milk with almonds, dried figs and dates. Strain the milk and consume it warm every single day for about a month. Do not throw away the boiled almonds, figs and dates. Munch on them to get all the nutrition.

Mr Rahul, If blood sugar level is not under control then fungal infections particularly of prepuce can occur fairly frequently. So please see that your blood sugar levels are near normal (fasting about 100 mg and PP about 150 to 160 mg). Then also need to take anti fungal treatment.

Thanks for the query. Most important thing in treating Non alcoholic fatty liver is to reduce weight at least by 10%, then take healthy balanced diet and do regular exercise. These measures help in controlling the condition. Plus your blood glucose has to be in excellent control with FBG<100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Thanks.

firstly start doing suryanamaskar and surya jal. also start doing Prithvi mudra with your fingers 20 minutes everyday. eat a heavy breakfast and involve in sports activity which will increase your appetite and more food will be eaten and digested, eat cow ghee with your meals. eat 20 almonds everyday, soak in water before sleeping at night, first eat 6 almonds before breakfast after 2 hours 5 almonds then after two hours 4 almonds then 3,2&1 almonds after every 2 hour.
