Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases.  In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. First of all let me tell you that there is no shortcuts in the process of muscle gain. Increasing muscle volume & strength is a highly complicated process which is influenced by various internal & external factors. In the following article you will get a glimpse of that highly complicated process as well as some of its influencing factors. I have made utmost effort in the following article  to oversimplify the total process & the factors so that it would be easy to understand for you Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. All type of exercises can be classified under two broad headings:- (1) HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training (2) LISS or Low intensity Steady Stamina. In short just remember that HIIT is weight training & LISS is cardio exercise like swimming & running. Both the form of exercise increases the rate of metabolism. But if your goal is to increase lean muscle mass of your body then you should stick to weight training aka HIIT The basic role behind the process of increase in lean muscle in human body is played by Metabolism. Metabolism is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of living organisms. The three main purposes of metabolism are the conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes, the conversion of food/fuel to building blocks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and some carbohydrates, and the elimination of nitrogenous wastes. In order to add mass to your muscle you need to increase your rate of metabolism. Once your rate of metabolism or BMR is increased you will be able to achieve your goals

Take fiber containing diet. Take softovac 2 tsf daily at night with one glass of water. Do your thyrold profile test. Avoid dust exposure. Take cobadex forte one daily for one month. It will help you.

Please follow the below recommendation for your condition: it is important for you to find the right kind of weight reduction method to get back into shape and never fall prey to diet pills and weight loss supplement advertisements that you come across on television channels and the internet. If you are able to combine a proper and healthy diet with an exercise regime, then this could be your passport to the fastest way to lose weight and that too naturally. The first and foremost thing that you should remember is that you should not skip meals or eat at irregular times in any weight loss plan. If you ever thought that skipping a meal or two an eating a hearty meal only once a day is never going to help in reducing your weight. Also, make sure that you set realistic weight loss target goals before beginning a weight loss program and try to achieve the set target. Always bear in mind that you can only stretch your body to a certain limit with rigorous exercise routines (30-45 minutes treadmill) and a well-balanced and healthy diet plan.

You can do nothing as it is natural (based on genetics). But if your parents height is short (check parents and grand parents height) then get your self checked as to know what might be the reason for such growth? (harmonal / genetic anamoly). Most of the times the growth stops by age 18- 20. So not to worry as such.

Hye. Thank you for your query. Just taking steroids don't help gaining flat abs. Firstly you need to work on reducing the fats and then developing muscle mass. The anabolic steroids abused by many are synthetic versions of testosterone, a male hormone. Both men and women naturally produce testosterone. But like all hormones -- which regulate the body's most basic functions -- throwing one's testosterone out of balance can have wide-ranging consequences. Anabolic steroids have many side effects because testosterone, which they mimic, has many effects in the body. The long list if side effects from anabolic steroids include: shrinking of testicles, breast enlargement (gynecomastia), low sperm count, increased hair growth, deeper voice and reduced breast size in women, high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, high cholesterol, rage, violence and aggression. Getting flat wash board abs is all about eating right. Plan a routine keeping the following points in mind. Calories should not be so less that your metabolism goes low. Your needs will increase or decrease depending on your work out. Since you are going to work out at least 5 days a week your protein needs are going to be high to help prevent muscle loss. Eggs, chiken, nuts, airy, pulses, soy, dry fruits etc. Are all protein sources. To include complex carbohydrate through whole grains vegetables and pulses. Don't go too low on carbs as they are energy sources for our body especially on hard work out days. Include healthy fats in your main meals through nuts, fatty fish coconut oil or ghee or olive oil limit it to about 15% of your daily calorie needs. Avoid salty junk foods. Drink about 3 liters of water per day. Sleep well.

1. Please let me know about your vitamin D level as taking more than recommended dosage can result in Vitamin D poisoning. 2. Test with vitamin D level only then I will be able to suggest you supplement and the dietary regime which would be needed to get your blood levels in the range you want to be.
