Increase in appetite and thirst with increase in urine output is a typical symptom of diabetes and it is usually seen whenever there is damage to the beta cells of the pancreas and in a known case of diabetic we need to control sugar levels with medication, aerobic exercise and following a diabetic diet.

Hye, Thanks for the query. You cannot work on a specific body part. You have to work on overall fat loss and toning. Try to eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals.   Drink a glass of lime water in the mornings to lush out your system & avoid bloating. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Include exercises that tone your back and abdominal muscles too. Include the following exercises in your workout routine. Exercises To Reduce Stomach Fat1)    Crunches: There is no better exercise that you can think of to reduce belly fat than crunches. It will help you to easily burn stomach fat and if this exercise is coupled with a proper diet intake, then you can see effective results in quick time. Lie flat on your back on a mat. Bent your knees with your feet touching the ground. Now place your hands just behind your head. Take a deep breath and lift your upper body off the floor. You need to exhale when you are lifting your body. When you bring your body back to its original position you need to inhale. Once you come up you need to exhale. Do this for 10 times and then repeat for two or three more sets. 2)    Reverse Crunches This is another exercise that will help you to easily get rid of stomach fat. Lie with your back on a mat. Raise your knees with the feet planted on the ground. Keep both the hands on either side of your body. Push your feet in such a way that your thighs are perpendicular to the ground and your feet are off the ground. Now lift your back such that your knees bend towards your chest. Inhale when you plant your feet on the ground and exhale when you lift your back and move your knees towards the chest. Repeat this for 10 times and for two more sets. 3)    Twist Crunches This exercise routine is very similar to crunch exercise and here you will have to rotate your shoulder in the direction of the other shoulder. Lie down on the mat with your hands behind your head. Bend your knees and make sure that the feet do not touch the ground. Now move your upper body towards your knees like the crunch exercise. But, here you will have to make sure that you twist your right shoulder towards your left and the left torso must be on the ground. Repeat the same way on the other side. Here, you lift your left shoulder towards the right with the right torso resting on the ground. Repeat the same procedure for 10 to 12 times. 4)    Vertical Leg CrunchLie with your back on the mat or the floor. Extend both your legs towards the ceiling and make sure that you cross one knee over the other. Now repeat the same what you have done in the crunch exercise. Breathe in when you lift and cross the knees and breathe out when you move your upper body towards your knees. Repeat this vertical crunch exercise for 10 to 15 times for three consecutive sets. 5)    Side Crunches The side crunches will also help you to shed excess belly fat and will also help in providing a proper workout for your love handles. It is very much similar to the twist crunch exercise. The only difference here is that you will have to lift your right leg up when you are tilting your left shoulder towards the right shoulder and vice versa. Repeat for 10 to 12 times each side for 2 consecutive sets. 6)    Bicycle Exercise This is yet another exercise that will help you to shed excess fat round your belly area easily. Lie flat on the floor or the mat and keep both the hands on either side of your head. Now lift both your legs from the ground and bend them at your knees. Now pull your right knee close to your chest with your left leg out. When you are bringing the right knee up you can try to meet your left elbow with your right knee to have a perfect stomach crunch. Now take your right leg out and bring your left knee close to your chest. Now, lift your upper body and make sure that your right elbow touches your left knee for a perfect crunch. Repeat this for 10 to 12 times for both the sides and for two consecutive sets. 7)    Rolling Plank Exercise The rolling plank exercise is another popular exercise that will work great on your lower back, hip and abdomen areas. Take your position on the floor or a mat in such a way that your knees and elbows are resting on the ground. You need to look forward so that your neck is aligned with your spine. Now lift the knees up so that you support your legs now on your toes. Now contract your knees and keep it in this plank pose for about 30 seconds. Make sure that you breathe normally during this routine. Now move to and fro for the next half a minute to constitute a rolling plank exercise. Rolling Plank SidewaysLie on the floor in a sideways position. Support your weight on the right elbow and your right leg. Make sure that the right elbow is perpendicular to your right shoulder. Place the left leg above your right leg. Keep your knees straight and lift yourself in such a way that your hips are off the ground. Hold this position for about 30 seconds. Once you practice this position, you can hold to this position for 1 to 2 minutes. Do the same on the other side as well. 8)    Lunge Twist If you are a beginner trying to work your belly to remove its excess fat, then you should first try out the lunge twist exercise. Move your left foot forward and bend your left knee. You will feel the hamstring stretch on your right leg. Now lift your hands parallel to the ground and make sure that they are in front of you. Take a big step forward with your left leg and sit down as if you are sitting on a chair. Your right leg should be positioned backwards and you must use your toes to support your right leg. Make sure that your upper body and the spine are in the upright position to perform perfect lunges. Now perform the same lunge exercise on the other leg. Repeat this for 15 times. 9)    Side To Side Bending Bending side to side not just helps in reducing excess fat deposits in your stomach area, but it also helps in giving your love handles a perfect shape. Stand in an erect position with your feet together. Lift both your hands and stretch it above your head and make sure that they are clasped together. Now bend your body to your left side as much as possible until you feel a strain on your right side. Hold in this position for 15 seconds. Now come back to the same standing position. Now repeat the same on the right side. Now hold this position for about 15 seconds. Once you get comfortable holding on for 15 seconds, you can increase it to 30 seconds or more on both sides. 10)    Stomach Vacuum If you are a beginner looking to do some exercises to reduce belly fat, then you should start with low impact exercises like stomach vacuum exercises. This is an exercise that concentrates mainly on breathing. Hit the ground on all fours by supporting your body on your knees and hands. Now take a deep breath and make sure that your abdomen is loose. Now exhale your breath and make sure that you hold your abdomen muscles tight during exhalation. You need to hold the abdomen contraction for about 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat this process for 15 times for two to three sets daily. 11)    Captain’s Chair You will need a chair to do this exercise. It is a simple exercise that will help in reducing excess belly fat. Sit on the chair with an upright spine and straight shoulders. Place both your hands on either side with the palms of the hands facing downwards. Take a deep breath. Now as you exhale, make sure that you bring both your legs upwards such that your knees are very close to the chest. Hold in this position for 5 to 10 seconds. Do not arch your back or bend forwards when your knees are close to your chest. Now bring your legs back to the ground and repeat the same process for 15 times. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and singular ab exercises or ab machines ALONE will not give you targeted results. The fats will remain as it is. It's all about overall work out and balanced diet. Your ideal weight is 70 kgs as per height.

The best way to loose weight is through low calorie diet and aerobic exercise. The calorie content in diet should not exceed 1200 kcal per day. You should avoid root vegetables, full cream milk, fried foods, sweets, refined flour and organ meat. Take more water, green leafy vegetables, egg white, lean meat, brown bread, multigrain atta and brown bread. You should also do aerobic exercise like walking/ jogging/cycling/skipping for half hour every day at least for 5 days a week.

Dear lybrate user. Most of the back pain cases are due to mental, stress rather than actual spinal problems. Due to your prolonged sitting, the stres is also affecting yorur muscles. Just take an x ray to rule out spine problem. Then slightly changing sitting posture, exercise, walking for 5 minutes every hour etc will help you. Take care.

both are interrelated. you may be having erectyle dysfunction and premature ejasculation. start drinking pomegranate's juices which helps growth, density, concentration of sperms and also helps erectyle dysfunction and premature ejasculation have nutritious food avoid alcohol and junk food. go for morning walk followed by free hand exercises. do one or two yoga and pranayum like kapal bhatee for 15 min regularly. have lots of water by mouth. things will improve.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so that's why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp before lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Apply an ice pack to the painful area of your head. Try placing it on your forehead, temples, or the back of your neck. Take a warm bath or shower; take a nap; or take a walk. Ask someone to rub your neck and back, or treat yourself to a massage. Apply gentle, steady rotating pressure to the painful area of your head with your index finger and/or thumb. Maintain pressure for seven to 15 seconds, then release. Repeat as needed. Rest, sit, or lie quietly in a low-lit room. Close your eyes and try to release the tension in your back, neck, and shoulders.

Fluid Retention - Why is it Disastrous for Your Body?

Fluid retention is a crushing problem faced by many across the world. The condition can be well understood by paying close attention to its name; the propensity of the human body to store water or fluids in general in the tissues leading to a swollen and bloated appearance can be referred to as 'fluid retention', edema or hydropsy. An observant person must have seen signs of fluid retention in people around. The condition usually surfaces in the form of swollen limbs that can result in soft depressed pits on the application of slightest pressure. Your arms, legs, feet and joints such as the ankles and wrists are more prone to the effects of edema.

The various ways in which fluid retention can be disastrous for your body have been laid down here:

1. Edema can impair your ease while walking. A person goes through so much of pain that walking becomes more of a challenge; limping comes naturally in such a situation. Thus, your gait can completely change under the effect of fluid retention.

2. Fluid retention in the joints can make your joints excessively stiff. It therefore prevents free movement, stretching or bending.

3. There can be alterations in the texture and health of your skin over the affected area. It may turn tender and may itch intermittently.

4. Skin ulcers are also a common phenomenon among patients of edema. Ulcers in the skin are hard to remedy and it is hence best to curb the possibility of their development.

5. Tissues that now have a higher content of fluids are larger in size and face friction between one another. This leads to scarring of tissues.

6. Improper blood circulation is a condition that comes along with edema. The blood vessels narrow down when tissues swell up. As a result, there is a sharp decrease in the amount of blood circulated throughout one's body.

7. Veins, arteries and joints lose their inherent elasticity in this case. Subsequently, expansion and contraction of joints may not take place involuntarily and may thus cause immense discomfort. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

The pelvic shift exercise is one of the best height increase exercises that targets and stretches the spine and lower hips, which is essential for increasing height. This is undoubtedly one of the easiest exercises for growing taller. Lie on the floor with your shoulder and arms placed on the floor, your knees bent and feet placed on the floor. Lift your hips and torso up off the floor by pressing your feet into the ground and form a straight line from the nape of the neck to the knees. Remain in this position for 30 seconds. Lower your hips slowly to the ground. Repeat this exercise 3 to 4 times. This is one of the most power packed mat exercises for abs, hips and thighs.

First of all you should follow some basic thing to improve health 1. When you are thinking about gain weight you should eat vitamin and protein reach diet 2. Avoid to eat in excess amount, eat limited only 3. In the morning empty stomach have 2 dates with 1 cup of milk 4. Have fruit like musk melon, banana, chiku, custurd apple, pomegranate any one of them after 5. Do exercise weekly three time only. 6. Avoid to late sleep 7. Have amal juice 4 table spoon + honey 2 tsp+ crystal sugar 2 tsp at evening due to this your hunger and digestion get improve well 8. Have more lunch than dinner 9. Have your dinner 3 hr before sleep by following above thing you will be healthy.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Remember, there's no magic bullet for weight loss. The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. Choose a variety of healthy foods — such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein — and include physical activity in your daily routine. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. (Slow and steady weight loss is good. I am 27 years old . As a child , I was diagnosed for eosinophilia which gave me cough , breathlessness ,fever and sweating. The symptoms decreased as I grew up . But then at 19 , I picked up smoking habit and continued for 6 years before I quit. Now after 1 year of quitting , I feel breathlessness all the time especially when I do something, wheezing sometimes at night but no cough. When I drink alcohol , my heart beats faster making it hard to breath and causing physical strain . Do I have asthma or what ? Please suggest.

Dear patient, eosinophilia is seen in any allergic manifestation and in some parasitic infections. I believe due to six years of smoking and an already with a history of respiratory diseases you might have been prone to late onset of asthma like condition. We need to diagnose the same a lung function test along with an xray would be helpful to start off. You can start with breathing exercises in the morning to increase the lung capacity. Alchohol if giving problem should be avoided.
