1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. walk 1 km daily.

You are 15 kgs overweight...Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal....

I want to know weather I can loose belly fat and at the same time gain muscle as I am hitting gym and taking whey protein supplement. I have come to know that if we jog too much we ll end up using more calories than we take and will start loosing muscle too with belly fat. Currently I have a bloated belly and not very good muscle concentration especially on chest area Please suggest me proper way of loosing belly fat and gaining muscle at the same time.

To gain muscle and as well as remain lean you have to eat clean and do heavy weight training for 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week. Food should comprise of optimum 1st class proteins, minimum starches, healthy fats lots of vegetables and fruits and drink enough water. Doesn't mean if you take whey protein you will become lean and gain muscle. Your rest of the diet has to be perfect along with the exercise. Whey protein is a wonderful supplement to be taken post training but it will work well only when your rest of the diet is perfect.

Your diet should be rich in proteins and carbohydrates i. E dairy products, non-veg, fruits (banana, dates, mango, anzeer) go for gym for 1 hour everyday. After follow this diet if your weight remain same. It means there is some hormonal imbalance you have to go for some medical test i. E thyroid profile.

Yes you can take it daily. As vit b is water soluble it doesn't have any side effects. Extra b is excreted through urine (hence it has more yellow colour)

Hello, As you are loosing weight, get your blood tested (empty stomach) for – CBC, ESR, AEC, Widal, Peripheral smear for MP, Sputum examination, Urine (R & M) and Stool examination (R & M) done. (In case required, may advise you some other tests later). Revert me back with the reports for proper treatment.

Dear patient, calorie dense food should be incorporated in your diet like dried fruits, potato, sweets, nuts, jam jelly, banana or mango shake, porridge, badam kheer etc. leafy vegetables should be restricted in your diet as they reduce appetite. you should take 3 major meals a day and snacks in between. butter, margarine should be taken. Adequate amount of egg, meat, fish, milk should be taken as it help you for tissue building in your body.try to take 1 boiled egg at every morning. you should eat more food at each meal. Before taking meal you can walk for sometime as it help to you feel hungrier. Thanks...

Hi…1) take 200 ml of fresh buttermilk after meals, 2) eat 30-40 black currants and 1 tsf of jaggery during meals, 3) take 30 ml of juice of indian gooseberry along with 15 ml of honey in morning on empty stomach, 4) take 1 tsf of lavanbhaskar churna after meals, gives you good result, THANKS.

Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Bagels and Crackers are made from whole wheat; sesame and bran that add some kilos to your body. Besides, they also provide necessary carbohydrates. You can use jams, peanut butter, margarine or honey to eat loads of calories and proteins. They will increase a significant amount of weight.

Hi your problem seems to be serious concerning your age. The solution lies in proper diet and some good quality supplements which should consist of whey protein carbohydrate fats if you are a non vegetarian then you can get it from egg, chicken, mutton if vegetarian then you will ne needing good quality whey protein supplements (genuine ones are costly). Take lots of milk and take full cream milk preferably take three proper meals consisting of all seasonal vegetables, lots of fruits and pulses. With all this proper exercise is necessary to remain fit otherwise you will become obese rather then fit. Try this for 3 mnths and then only you will get benefit.

To reduce weight 1) do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 2) drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday. 3) eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 4) don't skip meals. 5) green tea help with weight loss, is by reducing appetite. 6) eat fresh fruits instead of fruit juices. Fruits are good source of fibre except banana mango, chiku. 7). At least half hour walk/day. All are common things but for definite result you need individual diet and exercise schedule.

You can do muscle build up exercise and follow a proper diet. Eat more food. Eat more calorie rich foods like cake, pastries, chocolate, ice cream, ghee, butter, cheese, almond. Walnut, flax seed, sunflower seed. Eat protein like fish, egg. Peanut, peas, soy milk, soy product, mushroom, tofu in extra amount. Eat more dense fruits, vegetables, unrefined food stuffs. Use whole cream milk or milk shake. You can use weight gainer supplement. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink lots of water but not during meals. Take quality sleep.

Hi Lybrate-user, To gain weight you must consume simple foods for weight gain, which has enormous amount of calories & protein. Consuming lot of calories doesn’t mean that you have to over eat or over stuff yourself. You must always choose healthy sources of calorie dense foods. Eat foods with high amount of calories than your required metabolism. Never skip your meals and make sure you are including all varieties of foods like fruits, vegetables, cereals and foods with high protein in your diet. Dairy products like milk, yoghurt and cheese are rich in protein and calcium. If you are non-vegetarian then include Egg & meat Egg is a protein rich food with high amount of calories. Nuts are the most nutritious and protein rich food. Fruits are the best sources of carbohydrates, healthy sugars, vitamins and minerals.

I am male age 28 I am trying.Hard.To reduce my weight.It was 80 kg i reduced to 73. I tried but its not coming down below 73-75Kg.Now again i gained to 80Kg. I lost my hope.I want reduce at least 68 kg.
