Hi lybrate-user Know and understand how to gain weight in a healthy manner While some people try their level best to lose weight, others go to all kinds of lengths to gain weight in order to look healthy. Contrary to belief, people who are generally skinny don’t know how to increase weight and often find it difficult to do so. This is usually because they have a high body metabolism rate which doesn’t allow fat to accumulate, resulting in faster burning of calories. Fortunately, there are several tips to gain weight, which are not only effective, but healthy as well. How to increase weight and stay healthy If you are attempting to increase your weight, it is important to remember that simply eating anything at all will not help. Incorrect eating habits might not only affect your body functioning, but could also have other undesired effects on you. This is why it is important to eat correctly, while keeping track of your daily activities. Listed below are some simple and effective tips to gain weight. Put together a schedule Like most other things, it is essential to put together a detailed and achievable schedule that will help you gain the numbers you want. For this you will need to measure the different parts of your body like thighs, waist, hips, stomach etc. So that you can keep track of your progress. Along with keeping a track of your measurements, it is also necessary to keep track of the foods you consume and the kind of exercise that you might have to indulge in to help pile on the pounds. Prepare a nutritious diet plan When trying to increase weight, you simply cannot start by consuming fatty foods. Much like how you follow a particular diet to lose weight, you will have to chart a specific diet plan to put on weight. For this you have to pay careful attention to the proteins, fats and carbohydrates you consume. Ensure you diet has foods that are rich in calories and will help you gain weight like nuts, oats and whole grains. Weight and strength training In addition to consuming the right foods, it is also important to add weight and strength training to your daily activities. Hello, according to your history, you fbs should be anywhere between 72-108 mg/dl or 4-6mmol/l and plbsshould be less than 140mg/dl or 8mmol/lthis is 2 hrs after the meal. Yes you require to take a blood test for this. Fasting means you need to have an empty stomach for atleast 6-8hrs, preferrably 8hrs. And post prandial is 2hrs after you have a meal. You can check this at home regularly with help of the glucometer. Butits preferable at your age to get it checked at 6mths interval or best I would suggest you to take a glycosylated hb test that is hba1c to monitor your blood sugar level at 3-6mths when required. This is more superior in knowing your sugar control over past 3-6mths. Take care.

Hello, There are two testicles in the body specially meant for these kind of emergencies. You friend still can be fertile with one testicle, but will have to take special precautions and medications to prevent exhaustion and damage to the remaining testicle. As doctor kumar said, mild variety of sternoclavicular dislocations do not need surgical treatment. This is a relatively less common injury. The 6 grades mentioned by Dr. Kumar may be for acromioclavicular dislocation. Sternoclavicular dislocations have three main types- simple sprain, partial dislocation and complete dislocation. The treatment depends on the type and the direction of the dislocation.

This is helpful but if you want early improvement then following some tips 1.do yoga exercises regularly which increase your blood in body particular to those organs involved in sex.in addition 2-eat healthy nutritious diet like fresh green salad with meal 1 tomato 1 onion 1 cucumber daily use 3.avoid fried food like chicken fish egg spicy food 4-drink warm milk before sleep consisting with walnuts or dry dates 5-may take ayurvedic remedies for fast effective result 6-stop masturbation don't watch porn video 8-do abdominal crunches, leg raises, push ups 20 nos each and yoga. 9-do kegel exercises daily.

Pick out a single defining visual characteristic of each person and connect it to a visual representation of their name, preferably through an action of some kind. Remember: Memory is predominantly visual. 3.Create a mental memory tree. If you're trying to memorize a large number of facts, find a way to relate them in your mind visually with a memory tree. Construct big branches first, then leaves. Branches and leaves should carry labels that are personally meaningful to you in some way, and the organization of the facts (" leaves") should be logical. 4.Associate what you're trying to learn with what you already know. It seems the more mental connections we have to a piece of information, the more successful we'll be in remembering it. This is why using mnemonics. Write out the items to be memorized over and over and over. 5.When reading for retention, summarize each paragraph in the margin. This requires you to think about what you're reading, recycle it, and teach it to yourself again. Even take the concepts you're learning and reason forward with them; apply them to imagined novel situations, which creates more neural connections to reinforce the memory. 6.Do most of your studying in the afternoon. Though you may identify yourself as a" morning person" or" evening person" at least one Study. Suggests your ability to memorize isn't influenced as much by what time of day you perceive yourself to be most alert but by the time of day you actually study—afternoon appearing to be the best. 7.Get adequate sleep to consolidate and retain memories. Not just at night after you've studied but the day, you study as well. Far better to do this than to stay up cramming all night for an exam.

Sometimes children may weird way. You have to be patient and handle them carefully. First of all try to rule out cause of such behaviour. It could be related to home, school or friends. Talk with him and try to convince him that this is not good and it is harming him as well. Though he is small, if you talk carefully he can understand his mistake. If it doesn't help then please take homoeopathic treatment that will help him to improve his behaviour. Homoeopathic medicines excellently act on mind and helps children grow better.

1) Use Natural oils such as coconut, almond etc. to massage gently the scalp for countering hair fall. 2) Have more proteins and trace minerals in diet. 3) Start taking Ayurvedic hair nutrition supplement. 4) Keep stress away with regular exercise, yoga, meditation. 5) Get the underlying scalp condition like dandruff treated. 6) Milk with 2 spoon cow ghee on empty stomach 7) Avoid hard water to wash your hairs.

Hi I will prescribe some harmless but effective flower remedy available in homoeopathy shops. Try to buy original medicines. Mix 3 drops of gentian + 3 drops of scleranthus + 3 drops of sweet chestnut + 3 drops of cherry plum+ 2 drops of chestnut bud. Mix these with 100 ml water and drink it every morning and night.(same dose)

Dear, the height of body depends of many factors, but the main factors are: 1. Family history 2. Diet 3. Age 4. Sex 5. Lifestyle as you are young and your desire of gaing height is strong, there are methods bywhich you can gain some centimetres of height. 1. The height of body is largely depend on the length of your spine (vertebral column or back bone in general language). So you have to add the exercise of stretching of spine daily in morning. Here are the exercises! * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Bone growth depends upon the adequate intake of calcium rich diet. So take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Vitamin d play very important role in bone growth. So sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are notso strong. 4. The growth and height is controlled by growth hormone which is secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. For meditation, listen toslow and spiritual music, take long breaths for 15-20 minutes everyday. It makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly.

According to Ayurveda, when pitta (hot property of the body) increased in the body it leads to hair problems.
And there things also necessary to keep in mind while treatment of hair problem:-
1. Poor nutritional level (lack of vitamins, minerals etc)
2. Stress and anger.

For overcome this hair problem.

1. Take more green leafy vegetables which are easy to digest and contains vitamins, minerals etc.


2. Don't take fast food, junk food, oily food, spicy food, Chinese, Panjabi, potato, rice, heavy food etc which disturbs digestive system.


3. Manage streets and anger. It is most necessary.


4. Take a glass of milk two times in a day.


5. Morning walk / yoga asana / pranayama like shitali, shitkari etc/ deep breathing exercise / walking for an hour 5 days in a week. Regular do these.


6. Drink water 3 litres per day. It helps in absorption of nutrients in the abdomen.


7. Don't take opposite diets like milk and carrots, milk and sour fruits etc.


8. Don't suppress natural urges like urine, stool etc.


9. Avoid constipation. Take one spoon ghee in a glass of milk at night time for stool problem.


10. Don't use chemical base hair products. Always use herbal base hair products.
