I presume you have consulted a qualified Cardiologist & if he says that no medicine is required, then follow his instructions. If you have this palpitation once again, then get back to me & we'll get to the root of this problem & solve it.

I've a mild high bp issue, my cholesterol is usually under control. Once in two months I'm required to take Aten 25. Typically, whenever I work out, if not always but many times, I dont feel fresh. It's not tiredness. Is it due to reduced heart function (unhealthy heart)? Please advise. Thanks.

Whether D B.P. is mild / moderate / high once D medicines R started U should take life long modifying the dosages.Aten 25mg is not sufficient, minimum dose is 50mg UR symptoms R more due to stress rather the D disease

When ever I check my heart rate from my phone it comes out to be between 87 to 89. Is this normal or should I reduce some weight.

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine, DM - Cardiology, Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS - Physician )
Cardiologist, Delhi
When ever I check my heart rate from my phone it comes out to be between 87 to 89. Is this normal or should I reduce ...
This heart rate is within normal limits, a normal heart rate is within the range of 60-100 per minute but phones are not the best equipments to measure heart rate, get a ECG done to be sure. A healthy weight as per BMI is a good thing and even though it has no co-relation between heart rate but a healthy weight will be good for BP, cholesterol etc in the long run. So if you are over-weight please loose those excessive kilos.
