“Healthy eating paves the way for a healthier life!” goes the maxim which underlines the importance of organic foods in our life. If your food is not giving the benefits of nutrition, safety and sustainability, it’s not worth eating at all. Your health would directly be impacted in the way foods are grown or cultivated.

Organic crops are cultivated only in safe soil, given minimum possible modifications and kept absolutely away from synthetic pesticides, harmful fertilizers and detrimental chemicals. As a result, such foods would be more beneficial to the body than the conventional ones where a hell lot of tempering and chemical spraying is done.

Following are some benefits of organic foods:

Better health

Since such foods are not grown through chemicals and fertilizers, they largely remain free from harmful ingredients. Furthermore, they are cultivated so purely and effectively that they always have a good impact on the overall health of the consumers and hence, remain in a great demand across the globe

Better taste

In terms of taste, such foods are found to be far better than those grown through the use of harmful fertilizers and chemicals. Due to utilizing organic way of production, such foods are bound to taste better. They are preferred more for their dual benefits of nutrition and taste.

Nutrients

Safely-grown crops would be more beneficial to health than those who are grown in somewhat contaminated environment. 6 Tips to Keep Your Kidneys Healthy

Kidney is a crucial detoxifying organ that performs a lot of functions including, absorption of minerals, filtration of blood and production of hormones and urine. It also helps your body to maintain a healthy pH level. Since kidney failure can prove to be fatal, it is essential to keep it healthy, to ensure smooth functioning of your system.

The following are the tips to ensure the health of your kidneys:

  1. Adequate intake of water: It is advised to drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water daily, to help your kidneys function properly.  Adequate intake of water ensures that your body is able to flush out the harmful toxins at regular intervals.  However, in case if you are already suffering from kidney disease, this point is not applicable.
  2. Control your blood pressure and blood sugar level:  Diabetes is one of the major causes of kidney failure. It is recommended to control your blood sugar level on a regular basis to ensure healthy functioning of your kidney. People who have high level of blood sugar and blood pressure are more susceptible to suffer from kidney disorders.
  3. Quit tobacco: Accumulations of toxins in your body tend to have a harmful impact not only your kidneys, but also on your overall health. It is strictly recommended to quit smoking and use other forms of tobacco to protect your kidneys from damage. 
  4. Reduce weight:  Obesity and the problem of excessive body fat are harmful for your body in more ways than one. Being overweight makes you more susceptible to develop kidney cancer. Therefore, it is advisable to lose a few kilos to ensure the proper functioning of your kidneys.
  5. Avoid intake of analgesics without prescription:  Most analgesics have the tendency to be harsh on your kidneys.  Ingestion of analgesics increases your risk of developing kidney cancer. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen and acetaminophen are some of the analgesics, which are known to affect your kidneys in the long term. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid taking them without consulting a doctor.
  6. Include healthy food in your diet:  If you increase the intake of green vegetables in your diet, it will help your body to accelerate the process of detoxification.  Fruits and vegetables including watermelon, cranberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, cabbage, cauliflower, peppers, garlic and onions provide considerable aid in removing the toxins out of your system. However, in case if you are already suffering from kidney disease, this point is not applicable.

Sorry to say sir. But ceragem may worsen the condition by applying pressure on the back. Kindly reffer a physiotherapist if its grade 1 or 2 listhesis or else an orthopaedic if its grade 3. Kindly don't experiment with alternate therapies, they are never 100%safe.

Tips for backache: heavy objects should be pushed rather than pulled. The weight of the objects should be taken in your bent legs and arms and not in your back. During an acute attack sleep with a pillow under the knees. Choose shoes that offer good support in the arch and have low, but not flat, heels. Prop up one foot on a box or low stool when you're standing for a long time. Use a chair that provides support for your back, or tuck a little pillow behind your lower back. Tips to improve balance/alignment/motion: lift your leg so your thigh is parallel to the ground while touching a wall. Hold it for five breaths. For alignment, move side to side while sitting on a balance ball. For motion, try moving forward and backward on the ball.

I feel itchy and burning sensation at my clitoris hood whenever I apply a hair removal cream for hair removal at my vagina. I have changed and tried all the brand of hair removal cream but still the itchiness n burning sensation after removing the cream is still same. Can anyone suggest me some solution for it.

Hello, hair removal creams are not good for sensitive genital skin. You can use efornithine based creams to slow hair growth but it is not good for long duration. Alternatively laser hair removal is a safe and effective treatment. You may require 6-8 sessions and a yearly maintainance.

Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.
