Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

You should take Acupressure therapy and take Biochemic Kali phos 200x + Nat sulph 200x. 4 tab each thrice a day with warm water and take it 5 days

I am male 37 I can not use shampoo using bare hands coz then I feel burning in my hands and my hands get rough n skin feels cracked n peeling also sometimes happens. Tried using surgical gloves but that also did not suit my skin. So now I shampoo using polythene bag. Is it safe for hairs health or you suggest otherwise.

The best way stop using shampoos all are chemical based. So if possible you can use shikakai for your hair that will not spoil your hair and hands. If possible apply coconut oil mixed with turmeric and do a gentle massage for your hands.

All these symptoms can be related to peri-menopause means declining estrogen hormone. To treat it you need to eat lot of soyabeen (which contain natural estrogemn) and calcium and if needed estrogen also.

Cervical and shoulder pain is most commonly due to muscle strain from improper posture and ergonomics. Another reason being cervical disc bulge. Your pain character and symptoms are not described in details which are essential to reach a diagnosis. Rather than consulting a chiropractor, consult a pain specialist in your city as pain specialist will identify your pain generator and treat accordingly. In cases of myofascial pains intramuscular stimulation is done by pain specialist for relief. In cases where diagnosis is not confirmed on clinical grounds alone, MRI scan of cervical spine may be needed.

Hi take chitrakadi vati and shool vajrini tab 1-1 tab after lunch and dinner. Take pranacharya udar bhaskar kshar churna twice a day. And pranacharya live cure capsule twice a day. Avoid spicy food and non vegetarian.

Hello lybrate-user, the reason is very much obvious that there is constant pressure over your spine and other joints because of work profile. Take time to rest for sometime, take a walk, stretching h your upper and lower body, do exercises at home regularly, maintain posture which is very much important.

Avoid sitting posture as much as possible. Reading or watching tv can be done in prone position (on your stomach) and supporting chin with both hands. Practice yogasanas (kati uttanasan, bhujangasan, makrasan, markatasan, shalbhasan, chakrasan). Start physiotherapy. Consult orthopaedic surgeon if symptoms persist.

Hi * stop running completely or decrease your training. *apply ice to reduce inflammation. *gently stretch your achilles and your calves. *consider cross-training for a while swim, run in the pool or ride a bike. *when you return to running, increase your mileage slowly, no more than 10 percent weekly. *make sure you wear the correct running shoes do reply for detailed treatment plan. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Stiffness might have developed due to weakness of the ligaments & inflammed cartilage. Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee.

It looks like you are anaemic. And also you have to check with your vitamin and calcium levels in the body. If the bones are weak then automatically the pain gets triggered more as there is less energy during any metabolic activity.

Dear I think you have cervical spine problem and need detailed evaluation and imaging to come to a diagnosis. Meanwhile you can apply ice for 20 minutes every hourly. Do not do any exercise but give rest.
