Computer Eye Strain is known as computer vision syndrome Follow the advice given below. 1. Take a break-Use 20-20 rule, Take a break for 20 second after working in computer for 20 minutes and look at some thing 20 feet away. 2.Blink Frequently to prevent dryness of eyes 3.Use of computer glass- it optimises your eye sight when you are looking at digital screen and helps to decrease glare 4. My daughter is of 10months and most of the time she has constipation problem. What should I do?

PG Hom, London, BHMS

My daughter is of 10months and most of the time she has constipation problem.
What should I do?
Hi Anu, If you are giving artificial milk to your daughter, she is having constipation because of it. But continuing the milk will be necessary for her growth. In that case, you can give her one home remedy- Take some 4-5 black raisins and soak them in a glass full of water overnight. Next day, give her the water you soak the raisins in, to her in the morning. You can give her the soaked raisins also but it is optional.

Just relax and take care of lifestyle to reduce the effects of arthritis. This is sometimes hereditary but not always so go ahead and begin to enjoy life, but plan and prepare well for quality marital/sexual life with proper guidance with sexologist.

Why I get excess sweating as compared with my running budy. Please suggest me something for reducing to reduce sweating.

MBBS
General Physician, Fatehabad
Hi lybrate-user, Sweating mainly helps us to control our body temperature and as we all know it is natural but what happens when you sweat more than usual, then it becomes a disorder. In medical language when we sweat more than the body requires then it is known as the Hyperhidrosis. Some herbal treatments you can try are as follows: 1. Lemon balm is the herb which mainly belongs to the mint family. They basically help our nerves to cool down and reduces body sweating. They are basically consumed in the form of the tea. 2. Black Tea - Black tea also contain tannins which can be applied to the affected skin as it decreases pore size. Apply some black tea on the affected area by using the washcloth. 3. Omega-3 fatty acids- Make sure that the food you consume should be rich in Omega 3 fatty acids. It will help in the growth of muscles and controls immune system and also helps to improve the ability to respond to thyroid hormones. 4. Chamomile Tea - This easily and widely available herb has many health benefits. One of them is helping to relax the mind and relieve anxiety, which may cause sweating. Regular consumption of this tea may give good results 5. Apple Cider Vinegar - This is an excellent remedy to follow if your child sweats a lot from the armpits. Mix a little apple cider vinegar with water and apply it with the help of cotton balls on the underarms before going to bed. Next morning, wash off with water and continue this method for some time until it shows result. 6. Potato - The effective method is using a potato. Cut the potato into slices and place them in areas where the child sweats a lot. Keep it there for a while and wipe the area with a damp cloth. Repeat the method as often as possible. 7. Relaxation Technique: Certain relaxation techniques like meditation, or some therapy like aroma therapy, may be helpful in reducing anxious behaviour and stress and restlessness. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
