Hello Sir, I met with an accident 5-6 years back and from that time there is a pain in my right hand at wrist joint. Regular massaging the scalp for a few minutes every day with lukewarm oil will lead to stimulation of blood flow to the scalp. Coconut oil helps in controlling hail fall. Other recommended oils are: jojoba oil, almond oil, mustard oil, lavender oil. Jojoba oil is especially good because it replaces the sebum in the scalp.

My 1 and half year old son ate sea fish on Sunday and yesterday afternoon he once vomit and from then he is suffering from fever. Tell me what sort of diet can I give for him and should I need to take him to hospital. Before ten days he was suffering from severe loose motion and fever and that time doctor gave him cefixime.

Why wasting time? get him to doctor as soon as possible , may be he is having sea food allergy!the doctor would be able to desensitize you to the offending seafood so that the reaction is minimized . BioChemic medicine for this type of fever is Ferrum Phos 3x 2 pills three times a day

Lybrate-user ji, you must take nux vomica 30 (homeo medicine) thrice a daily for three days four drops in water immediately after breakfast lunch and evening dz. At about 7.00 pm. You may also add salad fruits, green vegetable smoothy (fiber food) daily. Take plenty of water. Eat less drink more. Take gud small piece at night with hot milk.

Hello, As is having cough and fever for 1 month, get her blood tested (empty stomach) for – CBC with ESR, AEC, Sputum examination, Widal test, Peripheral smear for MP, Urine (R & M), Stool (R & M) first. (In case required, may advise her some other tests later). Revert me back with the reports for proper treatment.

Hi, from what I understand, you are talking about your 3rd molar (wisdom tooth). If I am right then I would like to tell you that 3rd molars are prone to getting decayed and stains since its the last tooth in the arch, so regular brushing techniques if not followed properly, tends to accumulate stains and plaque. Lemon juice to reduce age spots
The vitamin c present in lemons is a strong antioxidant. Besides, its bleaching action works wonders on age spots and freckles. Just squeeze out the juice from a lemon, apply and leave on your skin for about 15 minutes every day and then rinse with plain water.
For even better results, combine 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with half teaspoon of milk cream and 1 teaspoon of egg white. Mix all these ingredients and apply on the face; after 15 minutes, rinse with cold water.
Lemon juice in combination with honey is also a very effective remedy for ageing skin because honey has a soothing action. Mix one teaspoon each of lemon juice and honey and massage it into your skin. Keep for 20 minutes and then wash with warm water.

These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Eat a fruit daily such as apple, banana , melon ,cucumber , avoid to eat mango , garlic , papaya and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily . • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp .Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water . • Steam your face to open the pores ,which in turn clear the skin .steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Hi, your height can grow till 25 years of age. If you haven't yet reached the age, you may try the following remedies - 1. Take flax seed powder - 1 tablespoon after lunch and dinner with warm water. 2. Take lakshadi guggul - 2 tablets, twice a day. 3. Take ashwgandha churna - 1 tablespoon with milk at 6.30 pm. Also follow these exercises daily - 1. Swimming 2. Skipping 3. Pull-ups 4. Suryanamaskar.

10 best foods for muscle growth :

Almonds:

These nuts are exceptionally a dense powerhouse of essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that will aid the body in muscle growth and staying slim. Eating these nuts can lead to more energy and stronger muscles. 1/3 cup of almonds delivers 271 calories, 10 g of protein, 10 g of carbs and 23g of fat.

Turkey:

Turkey breast is absolutely great for bulking up your overall muscle growth. It is high on protein, low fat and slightly higher in cholesterol than most lean meats and fish. One serving of Turkey breast delivers 34 calories, 14% fat, 16% carbs and 70% proteins.

Red meat:

Adding lean cuts of red meat to your diet is an excellent way to help muscle growth. Red meat is also a rich source of dietary iron that helps maximize athletic performance.

Eggs:

Eggs are convenient food that is fast and easy to cook. To stay really fit and healthy, it is best eating the egg whites and occasionally the yolk. The protein in eggs has the highest value. Calorie for calorie is what you actually need for muscle growth. Eggs are rich sources of vitamins and minerals. They are packed with riboflavin, vitamins B6, B12, D and E, iron, phosphorus and zinc.

Spinach:

Spinach is a well known green vegetable that is rich various vitamins and nutrients such as calcium and iron. New research says that nitrates from vegetables like spinach make muscles stronger.

Yogurt:

Yogurt is the perfect combination of protein and carbohydrates that is extremely good for exercise recovery and muscle growth. Studies have shown that yogurt in one of the few foods that has conjugated linoleic acid, a special type of fat that aid to reduce body fat.

Quinoa:

Quinoa is a typical high protein grain which is not a rice or couscous. It can be sweet and savory; has a nutty texture and rich flavor. It is one of the best additions to your daily diet especially for boys who are trying to build lean muscle using natural ingredients. This protein is made up of all 9 essential amino acids which means it’s a complete protein that will help build and repair your muscles. It contains only 3 grams of fat for ¼ cup serving and is cholesterol and gluten free.

Oatmeal:

Oatmeal is an excellent carbohydrate diet that packs in an abundance of fiber and carbs which is ideal for the diet of bodybuilders. While protein is definitely the most important, carbohydrates and fats too play a vital role in muscle building process.

Salmon:

When it comes to muscle growth, fish really tops the list especially Salmon is a protein powerhouse yielding around 25 grams of protein per 100 gram serving. It is also amazing loaded with omega 3 fatty acids and heart healthy monounsaturated fats. Salmon is an excellent source of vitamin D.

Chickpeas:

Take swarna makshik ras. Yakrit har loh. Nawayas loh twice a day. And punarnavadi mandoor 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water. Take Pranacharya liv cure 1-1 capsule and liv cure syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid salt as more as possible .avoid junk food. Fermented food. Spicy food .tea. Coffee.

I recently read that researchers believe certain foods might cure alzheimer disease. Ls this true? If so which food do this and how much would you have to consume to get benefits?

There is no cure for alzheimer's but certain food items are showing promising results in preventing the disorder. Whether they can reverse the damage is yet to be seen. The most researched ingredient is turmeric, or'haldi' research is on to find out a way to administer this substance as a medicine. Till we have an answer, the regular use of this spice in indian cooking in the regular dosage seems more than enough. Taking more of it orally may not really be beneficial.

You can take complete bed rest. Warm water saline gargles twice or thrice a day. Steam inhalation regularly and if you don't improve in a couple of days then consult a good physician.

Ajitsahu Include some form of proteins in your meal like milk and milk products..vegetarian should have dhals while non vegetarian should include chicken..fish..and eggs in their meals.. *check your vitamine B12..D3 and iron levels and add a suppliments in case the levels are insufficient.. *keep a check on your thyroid as hypothyroidism can cause fatigue.. Reason is unhygienic food,junk food,bad climatic conditions...etc avoid tea.coffee.junk food.spicy food.fermented food.. .walk for atleast 30 minutes a day... avoid alcohol consumption,smoking and non veg .drink lots of juices and plenty of water... eat green vegetables and salads.... do pranayama early in the morning... .sleep for atleast 7 hours...

go for ayurvedic medicines & therapy like massage ,steam , pinda swedan 1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. LIFE-STYLE CORRECTION 1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

Hi lybrate-user, Thanks for writing in. Welcome to the forum. The situation that you are describing is commonly seen wherein a relatively good control of symptoms is broken due to stress. There are many ways of solving this problem. The first and the recommended measure is to get psychotherapy or counseling. This will help improve your symptoms, solve the future/ career issue effectively and also equip and empower you with psychological skills that will be useful to face stressful situations in the future also. Moreover, it may also facilitate reduction of medicine dosage and also eventual stoppage of the same. The second option is to increase fluoxetine to 80 mg and there is a good chance that things will improve. However, this is a less satisfactory option when compared to the first one. Hope that helps.
