I am suffering from ankylosing spondylitis since last 3years, I feel stiffness in back and neck. Presently I am taking alopathy treatment but their side effects are more(presently I am taking saaz ds 2mg/day. Skeleton and Muscular Disorders - Thaila Dhara  Is an Ideal Remedy for them!

Are you suffering from skeletal and muscular disorders and are looking for an effective remedy? You can opt for Thaila Dhara or Pizhichil treatment. This is an Ayurvedic therapy which is effective for curing skeletal and muscular disorders. The term Pizhichil refers to squeezing. The procedure involves the squeezing of warm, medicated oil from a cloth. It is followed by a massage of the entire body except for the head. This procedure is performed by three or more Ayurvedic therapists and it requires more than three liters of medicated oil.

Indications for Pizhichil or Thaila Dhara
Other than muscular and skeletal disorders, this Ayurvedic therapy is also used for getting relief from several other health conditions. These include rheumatic diseases, vata dosha disorders, paralysis, arthritis, sexual weakness, insomnia, high blood pressure, depression, nervous weakness, neurological disorders, muscular aches and dislocated or stiff joints.

Procedure
The procedure of Thaila Dhara involves several steps. First, the Ayurvedic therapist evaluates your prakruti, vikruti and dosha imbalance before prescribing the type of medicated oil to be used. Pizhichil is performed in seven standard body positions and no area is left out. First a light massage is given and then lukewarm medicated oil is squeezed on the patient’s body using a cloth. From time to time, the cloth is dipped in a vessel which contains the medicated oil. It takes one hour for the procedure to get completed. Based on your requirements, the frequency of the therapy is prescribed by your Ayurvedic physician.

There are several benefits of Thaila Dhara. They are as follows:

In todays times, our lifestyle and diet has changed so drastically that health and beauty concerns are a constant source of worry! skin troubles and hair troubles are a plenty and are a source of embarrassment for women all over the world. Dandruff, hair fall, split ends, receding hair lines etc the list is never ending! the solutions are also increasing in numbers but not in efficacy. We have a number of lotions and creams and god knows what else but it? s like rubbing water onto the leaves of the plant instead of feeding the roots. Pointless! proper diet and nutrition from within can solve any of these problems better than all those creams on the shelf put together. Healthy inside make us beautiful outside! the right food for hair growth is one of the most amazing hair growth tips ever. Hair growth foods: 1. Green leafy vegetables: green leafy vegetables are the best food for hair growth. Spinach, lettuce, leafy greens, turnip greens, broccoli, beans and green peppers are rich in nutrients that help and promote hair growth. Regular intake of green leafy vegetables will ensure growth of hair and also strengthens the roots of hair. The green leafy vegetables reduces hair fall very effectively. 2. I have been having this issue of ringing in my ears since long time (maybe more than 7 years). I don't have any hearing loss as such buy I have realised that I can't hear a particular frequency on my left hear. I had been to a ENT specialist and she did a visual inspection of both my ears and she said that everything looked OK. Do you have a solution. It bothers me sometimes.

सामान्य स्वास्थ्य नियम 1.खाना खाने के 90 मिनट बाद ही पानी पीये। 2.पानी हमेशा बैठकर धीरे2 घूंट-घूंट करके पीये। 3.सुबह उठकर बिना मुह साफ़ किये १/२ से 1 ग्लास पानी पीये। 4.फ्रीज़ का ठंडा पानी कभी ना पीये। मोटापा कम करने के लिए। 1.त्रिफला चूर्ण 1 चम्मच और शहद 1 चम्मच सुबह शाम खली पेट खाओ। 2.कम केलोरी वाले खाद्य पदार्थों का उपयोग करें। जहां तक आप कम केलोरी वाले भोजन की आदत नहीं डालेंगे ,मोटापा निवारण दुष्कर कार्य रहेगा। अब मैं ऐसे भोजन पदार्थ निर्देशित करता हूं जिनमें केलोरी कम होती है। अपने भोजन में ये पदार्थ ज्यादा शामिल करें-- नींबू,जामफ़ल (अमरुद),अंगूर,खरबूजा,जामुन,पपीता,संतरा, तरबूज,बैर,स्ट्राबेरी सब्जीयां जिनमें नहीं के बराबर केलोरी होती है-- पत्ता गोभी,फ़ूल गोभी,ब्रोकोली छोटीमूली,पालक,शलजम,सौंफ़,लहसुन 3.दही,उड़द,आलू,नमक,शक्कर का उपयोग कम करें।

first need a health check ups.It could be for heredity,food habits,health problems.Follow these....Do exercise like weight lifting,other muscle building exercise.Eat extra more often.Add cream,butter,ghee,jam,jelly with foods.Add cream with tea/coffee.Use weight gainer supplement.Eat banana 3-4 pcs/day.Eat dense fruits,vegetables more.Extra protein help in weight gain.Eat nuts,seeds in snacks.No water just before or during meals.Drink lots of water throughout the day.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Sleep for 7-8 hours.

What is Allergic Asthma?

Allergic asthma is the condition in which the symptoms of an asthmatic attack appear after exposure to certain allergens. 90% of the cases of asthma in children are allergy driven, while in adults, the percentage is said to be around 50%.

An allergy happens when an individual's immune system exhibits massive reaction or fights vigorously against substances like pollen, dust, animal dander or certain other minute particles which are actually not harmful to the body but are considered so by the immune system.

Symptomatic changes in cases of allergic asthma:

If the symptoms of an asthma attack occur only when you are subjected to these triggers or irritant particles, your case is allergy driven. 

  • In such cases, the airway reacts aggressively to the entry of such allergens.
  • The airway muscles tighten up and inflammation is observed.
  • Breathing becomes painful and compromised, and mucus accumulation sets in very quickly.
  • Coughing is a common phenomenon, as the body tries to expel the mucus accumulated.

The allergens mentioned above are not the only triggering agents. Basically, anything that causes irritation could trigger an allergy and an asthmatic attack thereafter. Symptoms in the case of allergy driven asthma are more or less the same as seen in other asthmatic cases.

Confirming the cause of asthma as allergic or not:

The doctor would give you a much better clarification on whether you're asthma is allergy driven or not. There are pretty much two ways to decipher the same:

  • One is to administer a tiny amount of allergen to the skin and making a note of the reaction to that. Whether the reaction is a normal one or an aggressive one would tell if an individual has an allergy or not.
  • Specific IgE test may be done to confirm the cause, or to test the presence of an allergic reaction in the individual.

Dear, you will definitely get more stamina by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. * very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time * drink atleast 2 litres of water daily. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. Then slowly walk fast and slowly start running. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can do surya namaskar yogasan daily to improve your stamina under the guidance of yoga expert.

Hi sir/madam. This question is quite annoying but I wanted to know from experienced doctors. I got my last period on 5th july 2016. According to some scans doctors are saying that my 8th month is running. My husband lives abroad and on 25th july he came. So am confused that when I conceived. A moth has 30 days and if conceived during early phase of cycle, it adds a week to gestation. Means 34 weeks can look like 35 weeks-reason ultrasound report is more accurate than calender date. Get a 2nd opinion from doctor with repeat ultrasound about every parameter of baby- placenta, size calculated by head & abdomen circumferance, length of bones of legs and doctor (machine) gives a mean reading. Keep your baby bag handy if it shows 36 weeks +

It is a mistake to think that Pimples, acne or dandruff are skin problems of face or head. These are just symptoms of a body laden with toxins. Therefore no local treatment like applying creams, lotions or face washes can do anything good. Even if by some medicine these are suppressed the body toxins will come out in some other form which will surely be more complicated than the present ones. From the above it is clear that when toxins are removed all such problems will go away. Only Naturopathy can remove the toxins from the body.

I will suggest you to do exercise regularly and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit
