Hi. I am Dr. Vinod Raina. I am a sexologist based in South Delhi. Today we are going to talk about Sexual Dysfunction.

What is sexual dysfunction? It is a disease in which a patient is not able to perform sex properly.

What is the meaning of proper sex? The meaning is that a person should have proper sexual intercourse for more than 45 minutes which should not include the time of foreplay. If we include the time of foreplay, then the duration of one sexual intercourse should be a minimum of 90 to 100 minutes. If a patient is not able to perform for more than 5 to 10 minutes that means that the patient is suffering from sexual dysfunction, he is suffering from premature ejaculation or early ejaculation.

What can be the causes? Nowadays the people are working from morning to evening. They do not have time for walking or to do exercise. They are smoking, drinking and their lifestyle is also not good. They do not sleep for more than 7 hours. These things create anxiety and stress upon the human beings which lead to severe sexual dysfunction.

So how can we prevent it? We have to walk properly for 45 minutes every day. You have to Brisk walk in 45 minutes and you have to complete a minimum of 5 to 6 kilometers. You have to stop smoking and drinking or you can take only 60 to 120 ml of alcohol per day. You have to take proper diet. Increase the quantity of almonds, walnuts in your daily diet. You should take 10 to 15 almonds, 1 to 2 walnuts daily. You can take flex seed, broccoli twice in a week. You can take fish if you are a non-vegetarian and if you are a vegetarian you can take Kali urad ki daal two to three times a week and you have to take 300 to 400 grams of fruits daily. If you are doing these things, then definitely your sexual desire and sexual time will increase and moreover you have to see less television because watching television for long creates problems.

My name is Dr Vinod Raina. I’m a sexologist. We will be talking today on the topic of ED.

What can be the causes for ED?

Basically, it has been seen that number of patients who are chain smokers, who smoke approximate 10-15 or 20 cigarettes a day, they have this disease called ED.

What happens, what are the causes? And why smoking is responsible for ED?

Basically, when a patient smokes, the smoke goes into the lungs, and then from the lungs, the smoke is transported to all the parts of the body through the vessels. These vessels are choked by the smoke, and the microvessels, present in all the parts of the body gets stenosed and then the blood circulation does not take place properly. So, a penis is the first and foremost part of the body which gets affected because there are a number of micro-vessels present in the penis and these arteries, or veins, or micro-vessels get choked and the circulation of blood gets compensated and then this process of ED starts in the body.

So what we can do?

Definitely, you have to stop smoking. There are people who smoke 15-20 cigarettes per day, it is very high. You please stop smoking.

Moreover, it has been seen that some patients who are drinking, who drink heavily and been drinking with smoke, the WHO recommendation is only 2 pegs per day. That means, not more than 60-90 ml of alcohol. But there are people, youngsters, who drink, 5 to 8 to 10 pegs a day, so there’s a huge consumption of alcohol.

What it leads?

It leads to severe stress in the body and this stress leads to the erectile dysfunction. Moreover, it has been seen that there are people who work from morning to evening, they don’t have time for a walk, their lifestyle is not good, they take junk food, they drink carbonated drinks, these things also effect Erectile dysfunction. So, if you want to lead a healthy life:

  • You have to walk for 45 minutes a day
  • You have to take a proper diet.
  • You have to take at least 10-15 almonds every day
  •  2-3 walnuts every day, and if you are a non-vegetarian.
  • You can take fish two times a week, and if you are a vegetarian, then definitely, you can take broccoli, two to three times a week or you can take kaali urad ki daal.

That definitely will solve your problem.

And if the problem is not solved by these things, then definitely you have to visit a sexologist who can treat your problem.

My name is Dr. Vinod Raina, you can meet me on the platform of Lybrate. You can visit Vinod Raina

Penis Function Tips for Weekend Sex Warriors

When the weekend rolls around, many men have one thing on their mind: taking advantage of their free time to enjoy some delightful sexual escapades, either with a partner or alone. Such weekend sex warriors are anxious to make the most of their time off, and the last thing they want to have to contend with is a penis function issue. While there are no guarantees that the penis will always cooperate in any given situation, the following tips may come in handy in helping to keep penis function operating in prime condition.

Rest up.

Sure, sure, when Friday comes around, most guys are raring to hit the hot spots and get busy. But one of the primary obstacles to lack of penis function is lack of sleep. When a man has been working 40 (or more) hours during the week, as well as dealing with all of the personal duties he has, it's likely he may not be at his absolute most rested on Friday evening. And even if he starts out fresh and full of fire, by the time he's heading to the bedroom, he may start to wilt. One solution: instead of rushing off to happy hour, head home after work and grab a few winks.

Consider a quick one.

Many guys consider themselves to be quick shooters, ejaculating earlier than they would like. There are some long term strategies a man can consider to try to counteract this, but there also are some short term ones - such as masturbating before leaving for a date (or a hoped-for casual encounter). Having ejaculated once already can sometimes allow a man to last longer than they would otherwise. (And if it doesn't, well, at least a guy gets in an extra orgasm he wouldn't otherwise have had.)

Kick the habit.

If a guy smokes, he needs to break himself of the habit - for a variety of reasons. But one is that smoking is associated with poor penis function. There are several reasons for this, such as smoking limiting a man's endurance and stamina, as well as causing penile blood vessels to narrow when they need to be open and receptive to increased blood flow. A man's weekend sexcapades are also more likely to occur if he doesn't have smoker's breath when meeting potential bed partners.

Eat better.

Far too many people don't pay attention to their diets, and while the occasional greasy burger is okay, a diet rich in junk food is going to come back and bite a guy in the penis. Healthy diets that are rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats help keep the penis blood vessels and the heart in much better working order.

Exercise the pelvis.

Yes, having sex is great exercise for the pelvis - but penis function can be improved by exercising the kegel muscles every day. These are the muscles that we use to release or control urine - and squeezing, holding and them releasing them several times a day can help strengthen them - and improve penis function thereby.

Use a penis health crème.

Last but not least, weekend sex warriors can help maintain penis function by keeping an eye on overall penis health - and part of that process involves daily application of a superior penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). For the best crème, check the ingredients list to make sure that it contains both L-arginine and L0-carnitine. The former is an amino acid which helps the body produce nitric oxide, and this in turn helps expand penile blood vessels for increased blood flow. The latter is a neuroprotective element which helps maintain proper penis sensation, which can otherwise become diminished due to aggressive handling of the penis.

Penis Pain And Neurological Disorders: Understanding Dyaesthesia

Penis Pain and Neurological Disorders: Understanding Dyaesthesia

Penis pain is something men will do just about anything to avoid. One of the most uncomfortable forms of penis pain comes from dyaesthesia, the severity of which varies.

A little penis pain every now and then is inevitable, but in most cases, it's something that passes quickly. A guy gets hit in the crotch, for example, and the pain is intense but usually of relatively short duration. But occasionally, more lasting pain occurs, creating a cause for concern. One such cause is male genital dyaesthesia, also commonly called penis dyaesthesia.

The penis pain situation

Dyaesthesia refers to a physical, often chronic disorder in which touching specific parts of the body results in intense pain, often presented as a sharp stinging sensation. Often, the afflicted area may also be marked by a reddening of the skin.

The degree of pain associated with dyaesthesia can vary significantly. For example, in some cases, the pain may not be triggered unless the touching is fairly forceful. On the other end of the spectrum, the affected nerves may become so sensitive that even a slight brushing can create an intensely painful reaction. In the latter cases, even the touch of clothing on the area may be unbearable.

It's easy to imagine how penis dyaesthesia could create an especially difficult situation. Unless one is a nudist, keeping the penis clothed is essential, and the fact that both underwear and trousers would be worn could cause even more discomfort. In addition, the pain often extends to the scrotum.

Who is affected?

The exact cause of penis dyaesthesia is undetermined, but there are several likely causes:

- Corticosteroid creams. Sometimes doctors recommend corticosteroid creams for common penis skin problems such as excessive dryness or for other issues like Peyronie's disease. In some fairly rare cases, this seems to result in dyaesthesia, probably due to an overaccumulation of the steroids in the area over time.

- Erythromelalgia. This fierce-sounding name refers a very rare condition that has a distinct genetic basis. Whether erythromelalgia may cause dyaesthesia or whether it may be that erythromelalgia is sometimes misdiagnosed as dyaesthesia is unclear.

- Nerve entrapment, in which nerve fibers get compressed due to excess pressure, which can affect the manner in which the neurons experience touching.

- Vascular problems. Sometimes blood and lymph vessels release substances which seem to impact the sensitivity of nerve endings.

While any man can get penis dyaesthesia, it is more commonly found in Caucasian males over the age of 60.

How is it treated?

A combination of lifestyle changes and mediations are typically used in treating dyaesthesia. For example, mild cleansers may be recommended rather than soap, applying cold compresses to the area and wearing loose, light clothing may be combined with using antibiotics or anticonvulsants. Each case is different, so a man with this condition is well advised to check with a doctor. And because it can be chronic or recurring, he should keep his doctor apprised of his progress.

No guy likes penis pain, whether the cause is dyaesthesia or some other more everyday reason. Most men can help reduce the chances of penis pain by regularly using a first class penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) to help maintain penis health. Keeping penis skin in good co0ndition is one way to help, so men should be certain that their chosen crème contains ingredients like a high end emollient (such as shea butter) and a natural hydrating agent (such as vitamin E). In addition, the better cremes will include a potent antioxidant, such as alpha lipoic acid, which can help keep down excess free radicals and thereby help reduce the damage from oxidative stress.

Nine Penis Vitamins - Get a Healthier Penis With This Nutrient Powerhouse

In the ongoing quest to have sex, most men search for ways to increase the length or width of their penis, and may even go to the extreme of getting surgery to do so, though often for minimal results. What most men seem to forget is that the health of the penis is far more important than the size. A larger penis that functions less than adequately isn't doing anybody any favors, whereas an average size penis that is in tip-top condition is all a man really needs. As the old saying goes, it's not the size of the ship, but the motion on the ocean. Luckily, a man need not take extreme measures to keep the penis healthy, all it takes is 9 all-natural nutrients to get his schooner in sea-worthy shape.

The Big 9 Penis Nutrients

To keep the penis running smoothly all day - and night - long, a man doesn't need to chase after pipe dreams, exercise fads or other gimmicks. Instead, he should just turn to nature to seek out nutrients that pack a powerful punch in the penis department.

1) Acetyl L Carnitine: Although Acetyl L Carnitine is not a vitamin with a household name- which is no surprise as it is hard to pronounce - it is one of the most powerful penis health nutrients out there. ALCAR, for short, helps protect the penis from peripheral nerve damage that naturally occurs as a factor of aging. This nerve damage gradually desensitizes the penis and can really slow down the love life; after all, it is more difficult for a man to get hard if he has decreased sensation.

2) Alpha Lipoic Acid: Another tongue twister of a name, Alpha Lipoic Acid is an antioxidant that fights cancer causing free radicals - including those that cause penile and prostate cancer. Free radicals are also largely responsible for premature aging and wrinkling of the skin, but a healthy dose of Alpha Lipoic Acid can help the penis maintain a youthful look.

3) L-Arginine: L-Arginine is a potent nutrient that helps improve oxygenation and circulation to the penis tissue. It works in the body to repair the tiniest of blood vessels and capillaries to ensure blood keeps pumping to the penis. It is essential for good penis health as blood is the key component to a rock hard erection.

4) Shea Butter: The facial cream industry has long known the moisturizing benefits of Shea butter - it works wonders at deeply hydrating the skin and keeping it supple and elastic. The properties of Shea butter are specially suited to keeping the delicate penis skin healthy and smooth.

5) Vitamin A: Vitamin A is integral to keeping the penis healthy given its strong antibacterial properties. Yeast, bacteria and germs thrive in the veritable sauna that is a man's nether regions. Not only does too much bacteria increase the chance of infection it can also lead to penis odor. One thing is for sure, it doesn't matter about the size -- or skill -- of a man's penis a bad case of the funky junk can scare off a potential partner long before they reach the booty town exit.

6) Vitamin B5: A nice dose of vitamin B5 can increase a man's energy level and vitality, and the penis happily reaps the same benefits from this vitamin. Vitamin B5 improves cell metabolism and keeps the penis functioning at maximum capacity.

7) Vitamin C: Not just for a runny nose anymore, vitamin C boosts the production of collagen in the penis tissue, which in turn, increases erectile firmness. Anybody for orange juice?

8) Vitamin D: Sure, everyone knows vitamin D is good for bones, but who knew it is also good for boners? Vitamin D helps fight disease and improves the functioning of the penis on a cellular level. Sure does a body good.

9) Vitamin E: Vitamin E is another skin hydrating nutrient that heals red, cracking and itchy penis skin. When applied topically, it soothes irritated skin and keeps the penis skin supple with regular use.

Concentrating the Big 9

Perhaps the best way to ensure the penis receives maximum benefits from the Big 9 penis nutrients is to use a penis vitamin formula that combines all of them in one daily topical formula (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil). By applying the nutrients directly on the penis skin, they can be absorbed quickly and efficiently. Gently massage the lotion on the penis every day to enjoy lifelong penis health and wellness.

Sore Penis Symptom Checker - When It's Time for Professional Help

Most every one wakes up with aches and pains on occasion, and unfortunately; it seems that as one ages, this becomes a more regular occurrence. Most of these aches are a minor inconvenience that are forgotten by the time the first cup of coffee has been downed, but sometimes they are persistent and may be a sign of something more serious. When a man wakes up with a sore penis - no matter if he is 19 or 89-years-old - the source of the pain should be considered and never ignored, as it could be the sign of something more serious. Learn which warning signs may indicate a penis condition that requires medical attention. After all, when it comes to the family jewels, a healthy penis is a happy penis.

Common Penis Symptoms and What They May Mean

Burning sensation during urination: A common symptom of a sore penis is the dreaded burn while taking a pee - the intensity of this symptom can range from a mild stinging, to feeling like one is pissing fire! This unpleasant situation may signal any of the following conditions: bladder infection, urinary tract infection, sexually transmitted infection, prostatitis, or even prostate cancer.

Oozing discharge or blood: An oozing Johnson is an unpleasant way to start the day, and a pretty good indication that an infection -- or worse -- is going on. Penile discharge may signal orchitis-or infection and inflammation of the testicles - STI's, an allergic reaction, trauma or injury, or an abscess. Make an appointment with the doctor right away to flesh out what is really going on.

Blood in the urine: Blood in the urine is surely a shocking sight to any man, and while it may not indicate anything serious, a call to the doc should be made, as it could be a sign of a serious infection. Infection of the bladder, urethra, ureters, and kidneys can all lead to blood in the urine. Kidney stones, STI's and bladder cancer are other possible culprits.

Bump or sore on the penis: Possibilities for bumps or sores on the shaft of the penis are varied and include penis acne, irritation from clothing, allergic reaction to medication or even new soap or dryer sheets. The bump may also indicate something more serious such as herpes, chlamydia, syphilis or other sexually transmitted infections. Make an appointment to get the area checked out, as it could also be transmittable to sexual partners.

Nodule or lump on the testicles: Any lump found on the berries is cause for an immediate trip to the doctor. It is possible the lump is completely harmless, such as an ingrown hair, inflamed follicle, or cyst, but it is also possible that it is a tumor or cancerous lump that needs removal. A man should never delay on getting a testicular lump or bump checked out.

Dry skin on the penis: Dry skin may simply be the result of a change of season, particularly if other areas of the body are also experiencing dry skin. It may also be caused by a skin condition known as psoriasis, or may be the result of too frequent masturbation that is causing skin irritation.
Keeping the Penis Healthy

With so many conditions sharing similar symptoms, diagnosis can, at times, be tricky. The doc may not even be able to pinpoint what the problem is without taking some samples, for this reason it is not a good idea to self-diagnose a penis condition. What may seem like something that will go away in a day or two, may actually require a round of antibiotics to clear up, and what's worse, may be transmitted to other individuals without treatment. When it comes to the health of the penis, prevention is key. So when it doubt, get it checked out by a doctor.

Other preventative measures include proper daily hygiene to reduce the threat of infection caused by bacteria, using a rubber during sex, and using a daily penis vitamin lotion (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil). A penis vitamin lotion can help hydrate the skin, and choosing one with vitamin A can help fight infection causing bacteria to keep the penis healthier. Simply apply after the daily shower and be on the way to a healthier penis.

Telling Truth From Lies Regarding Men's Sexual Health

Telling Truth From Lies Regarding Men's Sexual Health

Even among men themselves, the issue of men's sexual health is one that is normally discussed in very low tones. This is unlike women who openly talk about these issues not only with their peers but also with doctors any time they feel or see signs that there is a problem approaching. Men on the other side are normally very reluctant to ask for help even from medical professionals and they choose to suffer in silence. We all know that it is the nature of men to keep their personal matters to themselves and when it comes to matters as delicate as sexual issues, they will be guarded very closely. During adolescence, boys almost always get all their sexual information from their peers and by the time they reach college, this is normally a closed topic they won't discuss with anyone else.

In most cases, the sex related information that men receive from their peers as they grow up is not just interesting or titillating; most times when this information may not be accurate. Since men will keep on reducing the tendency to discuss information on sexual matters with anyone else as they grow up like women do, they end up staying with insufficient information which could also be incorrect, especially when you consider that the source of information is their peers. This is the reason why most men are dazed whenever there are issues to do with the sexual health and they bury themselves deeper into this cocoon.

To the advantage of men who love privacy, there are nowadays a number of websites that are teeming with this kind of information. This means that men can now access important information in privacy through their computers or internet enabled mobile phones. Since all this information can be accessed in privacy and anonymity, men have come to love the internet even more. The greatest challenge, however, is the fact that there are websites that disseminate incredible or bogus information on this important subject. Any man who is not smart could end up with lots of bogus information which could endanger his own life.

One of the best ways to deal with this issue of men's sexual health is for a man to join an online men's sexual health forum where they can discuss with professionals and other men on different topics. These forums are known to give proper information regarding tips, risks and people also get to share some of their personal experiences. In most cases, some of the most popular topics covered on these forums include matters to do with erectile dysfunction. Anything to do with impotence can be a very sensitive issue for men to discuss openly because it generally connotes some forms of personal humiliation. Men dealing with this challenge can actually get credible information and have all their hard questions answered thereby alleviating anxiety and leading them to looking for treatment options.

Other important issues that could be discussed in these forums will include topics such as how to improve your libido. Men visiting online forums have the privacy that allows them to freely talk about their problems and in the process they can get information regarding any underlying lifestyle or medical issues and how they affect their sexual health. Some of the issues that could come out will include matters to do with diet, physical fitness as well as weight management. Sometimes men will also talk about specific health matters that are considered more embarrassing such as Peyronie's disease, which is the inability to retract the foreskin, abnormal developments of the male organ as well as matters to do with STIs. You can visit online men's health forums as one of the best avenues for getting information that will help you decide when its time to seek medical attention regarding some male sexual problems.

Penis Power - Unlocking the Secrets to Male Sexual Function

The male sexual response is a powerful force that, in one way or another, drives almost everything a man does. It also happens automatically, without requiring any deliberate thought or action on the part of the individual - although, of course, a man can work himself into an excited state if he chooses to do so. However, although this response generally happens quite easily, the physiological process of getting an erection is extremely complex, and anywhere along the way, things can go wrong. Because of this, erectile dysfunction can be a tricky problem to solve; but by understanding the process a little better, men can, in essence, boost their penis power, maintain better penis health and reduce the chances of loss of function.

Here's how the process of arousal works, from start to finish:

1. A man sees, hears, feels, smells, or otherwise senses something that is sexually stimulating - this can be anything from a touch to an image to a memory.

2. This sexual excitement, which originates in the brain, triggers a series of signals in a specific part of the brain.

3. The signals run along the spinal cord, into the pelvic nerves, along the prostate gland, and into the erectile chambers of the penis.

4. The muscles in the penis respond to these signals and relax, dilating the blood vessels and allowing a rush of blood to flow into the erectile chambers.

5. The penile tissues stretch to accommodate the inflow of blood, causing an erection to form. At the same time, a sheath inside the erectile chambers stretches, blocking the exits, so to speak, and preventing the blood from flowing back out of the penis. At this point, the penis is fully erect and ready for sex.

6. When the man reaches orgasm, the signals from the brain change, reducing the amount of blood flowing to the penis. This causes the blood pressure inside the penis to drop, opening the pathways again and allowing the blood to recede; the penis is then able to become flaccid again.

Because there are so many elements involved in this process - from nerve signals to muscle reactions to circulatory function - there are many opportunities for something to go wrong. Any breakdown in the process can lead to impotence, leaving a man high and dry when it comes to sexual function. Poor cardiovascular function, generative nerve diseases, obesity, and even psychological issues like stress, anxiety or even guilt can interfere with a man's ability to perform - but fortunately, most cases of erectile dysfunction are treatable, either through medications, counseling, or simply eating right and getting plenty of exercise. Men who have problems getting or maintaining a solid erection are urged to seek advice from a qualified medical professional before attempting any type of ED treatment.

In addition, it goes without saying that keeping the penis itself healthy is an important part of this process. A well-groomed, clean and supple penis is better able to perform when the time comes, and having a good-looking tool is likely to give a man an extra boost of confidence, as well.

Washing properly and using protection are essential to keeping the manhood healthy and appealing; and men can take this one step further by adding a high-quality penis health formula (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil) to their personal care arsenal. A cream that is rich in penis-specific nutrients, as well as natural moisturizers, is ideal for keeping the skin, nerves and circulatory tissue in top form, as well as boosting resistance to disease. Slathering on a vitamin cream after a shower can give a man an edge when it comes to overall sexual health.

Masturbation Month Is Coming: Useful Preparation Tips

May is masturbation month, and many men may be itching to take the erect penis challenge and celebrate the month to the fullest. A healthy attitude toward enjoyment of masturbation is compatible with good penis health, so dudes should take advantage of the month if they wish. However, those who want to really go full-bore during masturbation month may need a little preparation.

The lusty month of May

Although it's not officially sanctioned by any government, May has unofficially been designated as National Masturbation Month since 1995. The idea is for people to recognize masturbation as a normal part of most people's lives and celebrate by engaging in masturbation frequently. Many people use the month to talk openly about a subject that is a favorite of many but about which few feel comfortable discussing.

Some people like to set aside extra time for masturbation during May, and some even locate masturbate-a-thons to participate in, either to raise money for charity or simply as a means of experiencing endurance masturbation for fun.

So what kind of preparation might a guy need to consider for this month? It really depends on how "into" it he intends to get and what kind of participation he is interested in.

Simply solo

For example, many men will celebrate by masturbating in much the same fashion as they usually do, although perhaps more often or for longer periods of time. In such cases, their preparation needs may be rather simple:

- Lubrication. For any man intent on masturbating at length, lubrication is essential. Frequent or lengthy masturbation without the use of some form of lubrication is likely to result in a penis getting rubbed raw, and that's not fun for anyone.

- Cleaning materials. Unless a man is planning on simply rubbing his ejaculate into his skin (which is a viable option for many), a player needs to have some sort of cleaning material on hand. Tissues, towels, socks, baby wipes or paper towels should be stocked up on.

- Stimulating material. For some, masturbation is all in the mind (and the hand), but for those who depend upon some other form of stimulation, it's good to have URLs for appropriate sites, sexy magazines, adult DVDs or erotic writing nearby.

Group endeavors

Many men take advantage of the month to masturbate with one or more other people. This may be an informal double-header with one buddy, a group session at a masturbation club or a competition in a public masturbate-a-thon. The preparation materials listed above still apply, but there may be other things to consider.

- Volume and distance. When masturbating with or in front of another guy, many men are concerned about the amount of semen they ejaculate or how far that semen flies. Those so concerned are advised to refrain from masturbating for at least several days before a public encounter. This allows the testicles time enough to replenish the supply of semen. It also allows the penis enough time to become more sensitive to touch, so the semen is more likely to shoot out at a higher speed and travel farther.

- Appearance. No guy wants other people to see his endowment and comment on rashes, dry skin, etc. A couple of weeks before any group activity, a guy should thoroughly inspect his penis and determine if there are any blemishes or factors which may make him shy about revealing himself and take steps to correct these problems.

Penis preparation to address appearance concerns during Masturbation Month should include the regular use of a first class penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). For example, dry penis skin responds well to a crème with both a high-end emollient (such as Shea butter) and a natural hydrator (such as vitamin E). The crème needs vitamin C, a key component of collagen, which gives penis skin the tone and elasticity it needs for a healthy erection. Vitamin C also aids blood flow, which is crucial for erectile activity.

Does Naked Diving Present Penis Problems?

Does Naked Diving Present Penis Problems?

Warm weather is making its way back to the northern hemisphere now, and so scuba diving season is just around the corner for many sports enthusiasts. The thrill of diving in the ocean or sea and the ability to commune with underwater nature make this sport increasingly popular. And perhaps it is not a surprise that naked scuba diving has increasingly become a "thing" in recent years. But men, especially those who like to practice appropriate penis care, should be aware that naked diving does come with the potential for some penis problems. The careful diver will take some steps to keep these penis problems to a minimum.

Naked diving

To some extent, naked diving is absolutely nothing new. Many thousands of years ago, many of our ancestors habitually swam and dived in the buff; that's just how it was done back then. But the recent trend in naked diving emphasizes the naked aspect much more.

Often, a man goes diving au naturel as a way of marking a celebration. For example, some divers like to dive naked on their birthday - so that they are diving in their birthday suit rather than in a diving suit. It also has become increasingly popular for people to celebrate the occasion of their 100th dive by diving sans swimsuit.

But there also are many organized group naked diving tours in which all participants dive without the restraint of clothing. These may be sponsored by nudist organizations or may simply be a group of friends who decide that they want to be uninhibited together.

Penis problems

Whichever is the case, men do need to be aware that some penis problems can arise while taking a dive bereft of covering.

The problem that comes to mind most readily for many men is the possibility that their penis may be mistaken by a large fish as an inviting warm or eel. While some may think this is a ridiculous problem, there have been some very rare reports of this occurring. The best way for a naked male to avoid this is to keep a bit of distance between himself and the fish.

More likely to be problematic is a man's bare penis coming in contact with the stingers of a jellyfish. Even with a diving suit on, this can still be painful; it is likely to be much more so if the stingers touch bare skin, and especially so if contact is made with the penis itself. Again, keeping one's distance from the jellyfish is the best way to keep the penis safe here.

Similarly, keep the penis away from coral reefs or other sharp edges. Scraping or cutting the penis is much easier when naked.

A much more common problem from naked diving is dry penis skin. Soaking the penis directly in salty seawater for an extended period of time means the skin is going to absorb more salt - and that tends to dry the skin out. Taking steps to keep the penis well moisturized both before and after the dive can help.

Finally, it's best to dive in warm water. As all men know, cold water is not conducive to presenting one's manhood in its most impressive state.

With proper care, one can practice nude scuba diving without major penis problems. A man will be even better off if he is already including a top notch penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) as part of his penis health regimen. The best cremes will contain a combination of moisturizers, such as shea butter and vitamin E, to help rejuvenate and rehydrate penises that have been too long in salt water. To keep that penis skin even stronger, use a crème with a potent antioxidant, such as alpha lipoic acid. This helps fight excess free radicals and the oxidative damage they can cause.

Red Penis Warning Signs: Recognizing Cellulitis

Red Penis Warning Signs: Recognizing Cellulitis

In many instances, a red penis is a good thing. For instance, when the blood flows into the penis to create a desired engorgement, the resulting red penis enables a man to enjoy sex. But sometimes a red penis is a sign of something not being exactly right; often, it can be a sign of inflammation. One such cause of an inflamed red penis is cellulitis, which needs to be dealt with promptly.

What is cellulitis?

The Mayo clinic states that cellulitis is "a common, potentially serious bacterial skin infection. The affected skin appears swollen and red and is typically painful and warm to the touch." Although it is most often found on the legs, it can occur anywhere on the body, including the penis.

Cellulitis occurs when specific bacteria invade the body through a crack, tear or other wound in the skin. If the penis has a cut or open wound - or even just excessively dry and flaky skin - and becomes exposed to the bacteria, cellulitis may result. The most common bacteria to cause cellulitis are streptococcus and staphylococcus.

When the bacteria go to work on the affected tissue, a red, dry, swollen rash results. As long as the bacteria stay near the surface, the infection may not be serious. But sometimes, the bacteria make their way to the bloodstream, and that can create more significant problems.

Symptoms and treatment

Redness and swelling in the infected area is a common symptom, as is tenderness and pain. The skin may feel warm, and there may be spots or blisters in some cases. Fever and fatigue may occur in some instance, signaling a more serious case. Other signs of more severe cellulitis are nausea and vomiting, numbness and increased pain.

Although mild cases of cellulitis may respond to self-care (over-the-counter pain relievers, rest), it's still a good idea to consult with a doctor.

Other treatment options include the use of antibiotics, usually oral. In very rare cases, surgery may be suggested - but again, this is a very rare option.

Obviously, it's better to prevent cellulitis of the penis than it is to treat it. There are several preventive measures a person can take.

- Check the penis for signs of cuts or tears. If there are any, wash them with soap and water and keep an eye on them for any signs of infection.

- Check for dry penis skin. Dry penis skin can cause cracks through which bacteria can enter, so keeping penis skin properly hydrated is crucial.

- Give it a rest. If the penis exhibits signs of cracked skin or has cuts, tears or wounds, refrain from engaging in sexual activity until the issues are healed. This includes both penetrative sexual activity and oral sex. Men who do engage should be sure to wear a condom to decrease the chances of bacteria entering the open skin areas.

- Avoid activities that can damage the penis skin. If aggressive, rough sexual activities produce tears or wounds in the penis, it may be wise to tone things down a little.

Cellulitis is one of the more alarming causes of a red penis, but far from the only one: allergic reactions, minor infections and other causes can also cause redness. In general, regular application of a top notch penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) can help prevent a red penis by maintaining penis health at a higher level. The best cremes to look for will include among their ingredients both a high-end emollient (such as shea butter) and a natural hydrator (such as vitamin E). This combination helps create a moisture shield to encourage consistent hydration of the penis skin and prevent dryness and chapping. The crème should also include alpha lipoic acid, a powerful antioxidant that plays a big role in preventing oxidative stress damage to delicate penis skin.

The Dangers Of Herbs For Male Enhancement

The Dangers of Herbs for Male Enhancement

Many men will do anything to have a handsome penis, and kudos to them for keeping up with the excellent penis care that can make it possible! But for some, the worries that their penis just isn't up to par (even if it is just fine indeed) can lead them to look for a type of penis care that is risky, dangerous and certainly not recommended. Herbs for male enhancement is a niche market for those who seek a more handsome penis and aren't afraid to risk their health to get it.

The truth is that male enhancement herbs, often delivered in the form of pills, are a terrible gamble. They offer no proven benefit but a host of unsavory side effects, some of which can even be deadly for those with underlying medical conditions.

So what can a man expect from male enhancement herbs and pills?

1) Added ingredients. While some herbs might be entirely safe for male enhancement, they way they are packaged is not. Most herbs are not "straight up" in pill form, but rather, mixed with other herbs or solidifying ingredients, and that's where the problem begins. These added ingredients can be almost anything, especially if the pills come from somewhere outside the United States and are subject to little or no regulation.

2) Illegal chemicals. Speaking of no regulation, it's entirely possible that chemicals recognized in the United States as causing cancer or serious other problems can make their way into the herb-based pills. For instance, benzyl piperazine, also known as BZP, is a recreational drug similar to amphetamines, and it's often found in male enhancement pills as a way to "boost" the libido.

3) Interactions with medications. Some of these herbal pills can react dangerously with medications, whether prescription or over the counter. For instance, goat weed is an herbal stimulant said to work in similar fashion to the common "little blue pill." However, it is also an herb that stimulates the heart and blood vessels, which could turn out to be problematic or even fatal for someone who is on certain medications, such as those for blood pressure.

4) Issues with underlying conditions. A man who has any underlying medical conditions, especially one that has not yet been diagnosed, is putting himself at risk with every male enhancement step he takes. This is because there is no way to know how the drug will work in the body, and with the body already somewhat compromised by the underlying medical condition, almost anything could happen.

5) Bothersome symptoms. For some men, the side effects might not be serious at first, but they can build up over time to something that makes a man miserable. Common problems with taking these pills can include headaches, digestive problems, nasal congestion, heart palpitations, joint and muscle pain, skin rashes and much more. In some severe cases, a man might turn out to have an allergy to one of the ingredients, and thus have even more serious side effects, such as trouble breathing.

If a man is truly unhappy with his penis - no matter how much of a handsome penis it is - and wants to look into enhancements, he can do so the responsible way, by speaking to his doctor about the options out there. This is a "better safe than sorry" scenario that will help a guy hold onto his overall health, rather than risk it on something not fully tested.

In addition, a guy can pay close attention to penis skin care, which is the number one way to get the handsome penis he craves. He can help things along with a reliable penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). The best crèmes will contain the tried-and-true beneficial vitamins, such as vitamins A, D and C, as well as numerous amino acids (the building blocks of protein) and antioxidants, all of which are great for overall skin health. Wrapped up in a luxurious Shea butter base for more supple skin, a man can't go wrong with this kind of safe, approved crème.
