First thing is her sugar levels should be well controlled, so she has to take appropriate medicines regularly, if possible she should exercise at least 30 to 45 minutes a day. Follow all dietary restrictions as advised. For other problem of the mass in the abdomen (earlier removal and present one) only a surgeon can advise, hence please do consult one.

Dear lyrateuser, - You should avoid & stop smoking as it can cause lung problems & also affects other vital organs over a period of time - to find the cause get investigations done, blood Hb%, cholesterol, sugar, ECG, x- ray chest - in the meantime have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy ones, avoid spicy, fried & junk food - also do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming for 20-30 min a day, also do yoga & deep breathing exercises for 10-15 min daily in the morning as these help to keep your body fit & reduce the pain.

Hello. I am 35 year old for last one year I am taking ecosprin 75 mg one time in a day as my family physician suggested with Rosofit 5 mg. Because my cholesterol levels was very high. Last week I have done my lips profile test an report is normal. My family physician suggested to discontinue the tablets. But I feel like continuing the same as after one year my body may have developed dependency on these two tablets. Can I continue to take ecosprin.

Hello. I am 35 year old for last one year I am taking ecosprin 75 mg one time in a day as my family physician suggest...
1) You donot need Ecosprin, you just need statin for cholesterol control. 2) If now your cholesterol levels are normal, you should try reducing and stopping medication while following lifestyle changes like daily exercises for 40-45 mins, no smoking or drinking and eating a healthy heart diet. 3) It is always better to reduce medications if we can with lifestyle precautions and these medications donot cause any kind of dependency.

What is the reason of joint pain. How can I cure my diabetes? How blood pressure can be controlled?

What is the reason of joint pain. How can I cure my diabetes? How blood pressure can be controlled?
Mr. Lybrate-user, you have asked three totally different questions. Anyway, joint pains can be due to a number of conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and some inflammatory conditions affecting single joint also. Diabetes mellitus, is a disease due to deficiency of insulin or resistance to its action or both. So there is no chance for cure, it can only be controlled by proper medications, diet control, exercise and weight maintenance. Blood pressure if high will also need drug/drugs to control plus salt restriction.

As far as routine is concerned. We first need to know your present health status, your food habits, your routine, your other medical history. Second the test are numerous. Initially an ECG and Lipid profile is enough if you have no symptoms. And it is better to start homoeopathic treatment. If possible as preventive measures.

Its not that homeopathy does not have side effects. I'll suggest you should read a few reliable links before switching you medication to homeopathy. This is a extramely reliable data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Institutes of Health https://nccih. Nih.gov/health/homeopathy Also you need to understand about High blood pressure in pregnancy Once you are pregnant, high blood pressure can cause problems for you and your unborn baby. You have had high blood pressure before you got pregnant. Some get it once they are pregnant - a condition called gestational hypertension. Either one can cause low birth weight or premature delivery of the baby. Controlling your blood pressure during pregnancy and getting regular prenatal care are important for the health of you and your baby. Treatments for high blood pressure in pregnancy may include close monitoring of the baby, lifestyle changes, and certain medicines which are safe in pregnancy like labetolol or nefidipine. (These are even safer than amlong) Some pregnant women with high blood pressure develop preeclampsia. It's a sudden increase in blood pressure after the 20th week of pregnancy. It can be life-threatening for both you and the unborn baby. There is no proven way to prevent it. Most women who have signs of preeclampsia are closely monitored to lessen or avoid complications. The only way to "cure" preeclampsia is to deliver the baby. So I'll strongly suggest you to discuss these aspects very thoroughly with both your gynecologist and your endocrinologist before taking any major step in medicines good luck.

I hope that blood pressure and blood sugar levels are under control. Only thing bothering you is lack of sleep. Take a glass if warm toned milk with a spoon of honey added to it. Take care about rest of calories, you can balance by deleting other items worth 200 call in this milk food. Listen to soothing music, read good books, don't watch violence on tv. Meditation before sleep helps.

Get her thyroid profile, cbc, blood sugar & total lipids tested (total cost less than 1500/- in a standard lab) get her bp checked, get back here with reports, weight & height and periods history as 40-50 years is time for periods to stop, time for menopause & associated changes.

While I workout there is slight pain like sensation at centre of my chest what may b the reason. I am 26 male.

While I workout there is slight pain like sensation at centre of my chest what may b the reason. I am 26 male.
If you are working on bench press or doing weights, sometimes there might occur muscle group spasm during workout, mostly involving deltoids, trapezius, pectorals, serratus sets, and abdominal muscles. So, take precautions and follow advice of gym instructor. At metabolic level, this pain is due to wear and tear of your old muscle fibres, which get replaced with stronger fibrous bonds that add to muscle bulk. Keep hydrated and take proper nutrition and rest.
