I am female of 27 years old. I want to lose weight by doing walking and sun salutation. After my exercise I am suffering from back pain and legs pain. Can you please tell me what type of food and what type of exercise I should do to loss weight and be healthy.

Post Graduate Diploma In Dietetics
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
Good to know that you are keen to loose weight. Yes weight gain beyond normal leads to many problems one of them being backache. Since your body is not used to exercise it may take some time before these aches and pain go away. Along with exercise diet is very very important. Exercise helps only 20-30% whereas diet 70-80% incase you are interested in personalised weight loss plan pls feel free to connect with me privately on lybrate. Thanks.

I am 17 years guy. I hav a hair loss problem.

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda,
I am 17 years guy. I hav a hair loss problem.
Causes:: Genetic factors, family history, overall aging process, normal life variations including temporary severe stress, illness, nutritional changes, hormonal changes like those in pregnancy, puberty, and menopause may cause a reversible hair loss. 1. Chop some onions (pyaz) into fine pieces and squeeze out the juice. Apply this to hair and scalp and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it with shampoo. 2. Crush a few cloves of garlic (lehsun), add in a little coconut oil and boil for a few minutes. Cool it till it becomes warm and apply it on the scalp with a little massaging action. Repeat two to three times a week for best results. 3. Take coconut milk and add a little water to it. Apply this to the scalp and allow it to stay overnight. Rinse this the next morning. 4. Add two teaspoons of amla juice/ powder and mix with equal quantity of freshly squeezed lime juice. Mix well, apply to the scalp and leave it to dry; then rinse using warm water. 5. Take some flowers of rose (gulab) add some water to it and make a paste. Apply it on hair and keep it for an hour and then wash the hair.

Hi lybrate-user, This problem at this age is very strange, you really need to visit a prosthodontist along with an opg. I suspect you with a TMJ disorder. If cured at this stage, it will help you later in life.

I am losing hairs. I have tried everything but no use. How can I gain hairs back?
Your hair loss needs to be assessed if its due to certain deficiencies, environmental factors or genetic. Only then can it be treated successfully. Please consult a trichologist without wasting much time as early treatment results in saving and regaing lots of hair.

Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

I want to know how to give first aid to one who gets heart attack ?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath,
First aid for a person who suffers heart attack 1. Ask the person who had an attack to be calm. If he or she is already at a stage of calmness, that same person should be able to sustain that for a longer period. Allowing the person who had an attack to sit upright may also help. 2. In case the person who had an attack is wearing tight clothes, free him or her from it. Loose clothing, especially around the neck area, can help even out the patient's breathing. This would also help him or her to be in a more stabilized state. 3. Try to talk to the person who had an attack. Make inquiries about his or her medications. Ask about other medical precautions as well, if any. Meanwhile, knowing about his or her overall health condition may also help determine what your next step should be. 4. If the person who had the attack is unconscious, immediately call 911.5. An important part of heart attack first aid is conducting cpr. However, if you are not trained to do it, you might ask other people to do it, instead. If there is nobody else available, call a doctor and get specific instructions while waiting for the aid of the 911 crew. Things that you must not do while giving first aid in light of giving first aid treatment, you should also take note of the things that you should not do in case heart attack emergencies arise. Otherwise, the condition of the patient just might get worse. 1. Make it a point to stay with the victim. Do not leave his or her side even if you get anxious while waiting for help. 2. Do not wait for the symptoms to be more manageable because chances are, it will not be that way. In fact, if an attack is already occurring, the heart attack itself might worsen and become more severe. In such cases, death may be the consequence. 3. Do not give the person who had the attack anything to ingest by mouth. If the victim chokes on what you give, his or her condition is likely to worsen. Additionally, it may cause the symptoms of heart attack to worsen at the same time.

1.Mix equal proportions of Fuller’s earth (multani mitti), rose water, and sandalwood powder.Apply this mud pack to your face.Wash after it dries up.Repeat the process once a week. 2.Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and put it on the pimples overnight. In the morning, wash the skin well with lukewarm water. However, this particular remedy is not suitable for those with sensitive skin. 3..Rinse your face with water and pat it dry. Crush up mint leaves thoroughly, you can use a blender but a mortar and pestle works quite well if you happen to have one lying around. Rub the juice and crushed leaves on your face and leave for 5-10 minutes before rinsing off thoroughly with cold water. 4. Take 2 tsf lalima/ shahi johar ushaba syrup twice daily empy stomach/ 1month. and apply fresh neem paste on face morning daily. 5. Drink 2 litre water daily.Avoid oily and spicy foods. 6. Do walk 2 km daily morning and evening and avoid constipation.

This is piles. It is generally caused when we strain during bowel movement, it pushes the blood into the rectal veins and arteries. This causes swollen veins that push against the anal walls, resulting in weak and feeble anal muscles. Include lots of fibre in your diet to regulate bowel movement.
