I am 71 years old I have RBB and sometimes feels giddy, palpitation and the pulse rate goes up to 90 per minute (normal is around 65) Dr. has suggested me to take clopitab 75 mg lifelong Can I stop the medicine as it occurs 3, 4 Times in a year.

MD - Medicine, Diploma in Diabetology, MBBS
General Physician, Malda
Hi, as I can see you are worried about your symptoms and rbbb. First of all let me assure you rbbb is quite a common finding especially in elderly patients (age above 65 years), usually it does not require any treatment except for two conditions. 1. If there is some underlying heart condition causing rbbb or 2. You are having frequent symptoms of palpitation, blackouts etc. Treatment is basically pacemaker implantation. So I would suggest you to consult a cardiologist if your symptoms persist. Now coming to your next queries. Yes, you have to take clopitab 75 lifelong only to be stopped if there are some complications like black tarry stool, black spots under the skin or unexplained bleeding. Regarding your pulse rate. Normal pulse rate is 60 to 100. So you need not to worry about having pulse rate of 90. Revert if needed thank you.

I'm suffering from severe vitamin d deficiency it is 8. please prescribe me the required diet for it!

MBBS
General Physician, Cuttack
Normal vit d level is between 20-50 ng/ml. A level less than 12 ng/ml indicates vitamin d deficiency. 1. Expose yourself to sunlight for 15-20 minutes daily in the morning 2. Milk, cheese, egg yolk, fish (salmon/mackerel/ trout/sardines/tuna) cod liver oil, mushroom, cereals, orange juice are good source of vitamin d 3. If you have deficiency of vitamin d you have to take vitamin d supplement 60000iu/week for six months) after consulting physician.

Dear lybrate user, you may be suffering from a clinical condition called phimosis. The most conventional method to get rid of it is surgery. However, if you are unwilling to undergo surgery then you can try the following process at home. 1) buy any local anaesthetic gel (e. G. Lidocaine, lignocaine, xylocaine) from allopathic retail shop. 2) apply a little amount of that anaesthetic gel at the lower part of the prepuce of penis where the foreskin remains attached. 3) after application of the gel, retract the foreskin backwards as far as you can. Due to the anaesthetic property of the gel you will be able to retract the foreskin backwards to some extent more than you can do in normal condition. 4) release the foreskin when you feel pain 5) again repeat the same process. Do it continuously for at least 30 minutes in a day. Within a month you will feel that your foreskin has become loose.

Not that its masturbation which is causing these problems, but stress and wrong ways or habits. So do oiling and massage too and avoid beverages excess and spices. Also drink cow milk with cow ghee and dried ginger for better results.

Hey folks ; I am 27 year old girl. And my question is that my boyfriend insist me for anal sex and oral sex. Due to which some time his sperm I take on my mouth. Although he is doing natural sex very well. Please. Tell. Me this anal. Sex and. Oral sex s dangerous and how should I take protection?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
Anal sex can expose its participants to two principal dangers: infections due to the high number of infectious microorganisms not found elsewhere on the body, and physical damage to the anus and rectum due to their fragility. Risk of injury to the woman is significantly higher because of the durability of the vaginal tissues compared to the anal tissues. Cunnilingus or oral sex is safe kind of sex as compared to vaginal or anal sex.

Hello dear lybrate-user, Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* Here are some best working tips (even I personally never recommend any pills for this issue) Provide enough time in foreplay, after play. Consume plenty of liquids. Balanced nutritious diet intake with enough iron, vitamins, minerals, proteins.Regular walking in fresh air, exercises, relaxation techniques, YOGA help great in creating self confidence. Avoid stress, anxiety.Manage to have regular sound sleep of 8 hours. Cut off use of mobile, internet in bedroom. Discuss with the partner regarding her likes and dislikes with love. Keep your blood sugar, cholesterol levels, body weight under control. Avoid smoking, alcohol if consuming. Consider sex as an art rather than just act of finishing ejaculation. Plan sudden surprises as uninformed leave from job coming home, candle light dinner, surprise gift, outing, variations in sex acts which matters a lot. Consult later your urologist as per the requirement. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.
