Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Hi, Gum bleeding can be due to various factors. After proper Examination by your dentist U will come to know the exact cause of it. Main and basic reasons for Your Gum Bleeding problem are Plaque/calculus/tartar deposits present in your teeth . These factors cause gum inflammation known as gingivitis which leads to swollen and bleeding gums. Apart from this other reasons could be Improper alignment of the teeth Deficiency of Vitamin C (also known as Scurvy) Prolonged use of Some medications like Aspirin, Underlying systemic conditions like bleeding disorders.(very very rare possibility) It is advisable to visit a dentist and get proper Treatment done which may include scaling(i.E. Professional cleaning) & or flap surgery to avoid loss of teeth in long run. Also Scaling is to be done every 6 months as a routine maintainance procedure for healthy teeth and strong Gums. If the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. You could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice generated to the area where the ulcer is located. Clove buds are a great ingredient to cure sore throat too. To prevent the ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your mouth with a little salt water. Remember, this won’t make the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain. Honey is a natural humectant. It helps reduce scarring and hastens the process of new tissue growth. This, along with its anti-microbial effect ensures faster healing of the mouth ulcer. Chew a few leaves of tulsi along with some water about three to four times every day. This will help in getting rid of ulcers faster and also have a preventive action against their recurrence. Applying a little coconut oil directly onto the mouth ulcer or chewing some coconut (fresh or dry) helps reduce pain and inflammation and hence, ulcers heal faster. Mix some sugar to crushed khus-khus seeds and consume this mixture for instant relief from ulcers. You could apply a little ghee directly to the ulcerated area, or drink a glass of buttermilk two or three times every day. Mouth ulcers left untreated generally go away in a week or so; with these home remedies, you can expect faster relief. However, if you notice an ulcer in the mouth that is persistently present although it does not cause you any pain, do not neglect it or try to treat it with home remedies beyond a few days. Make it a point to see a doctor soon because often, a painless mouth ulcer is one of the earliest signs of oral cancer.

The type of treatment you have for toothache /sensitivity/swelling will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed. Q.

Does your toothpaste really changes your tooth colour???

Any one in the world does'nt want a white teeth?
These are the two wishes makes the tooth paste business as number one in the world.
Every one should know why there are so many shades of teeth.
Does a yellow teeth means ugly teeth.
The colour of your teeth is an optical phenomenon. It depends on the thickness of the enamel. The inner layer of the tooth is called dentin, which is yellow in colour. If the overlying enamel is thin the colour of dentin is visible through the enamel giving the tooth yellow colour. If the enamel is thick the underlying dentin is not visible so tooth appears white. The whiteness of tooth depends on the thickness of enamel. Genetic also plays a role. Usually a fair complexioned person will have yellow shade and a dark complexioned person will have white shade.
So the colour of your teeth is not going to be changed permanently by your tooth paste.
Yellow or white teeth keep it clean.

you were treated correctly at that time faisal, but only treatment is not enough. bleeding gums and bad breath are due to deposition of plaque and calculus around teeth. professional cleaning removes this and hence treats the cause. but even after treatment, not following the oral hygiene habits properly can reestablish the disease. visit a dentist every 6 months for professional cleaning of your teeth, brush 2 times a day, floss your teeth, rinse your mouth after every meal, eat healthy food and drink a lots of water. I advise you to visit a dentist and get your teeth cleaned again as it was 2 years ago you went for the same and then strictly follow the oral hygiene habits.

I took tobacco and cigarette for 3 years. How long will it take to recover the damage done by this things? How long will it stay in my body?

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist
Ask Free Question
It just depends on how long you smoked and how much damage you did to the body. So I think the thing to do is try to get yourself as healthy as possible after you quit smoking and then see where you are. Once individuals stop smoking, they will have a decrease in their heart rate and also in their bodies’ levels of carbon monoxide. Gradually over months and years, the risks for developing smoking-related diseases will decrease as well. You will start to repair the damage and by about 5 years after you quit, your body will have recovered more than 90% of the damage that is done, and it will feel, act, and be normal thereafter. Quit and stay quit. It's never too late.

Hi the causes of itchy gums are: 1. Mild inflammation of gums 2. Accumulation of debris on teeth 3. Teeth pushing through gums the best home-remedy is to massage the gums with a mix of mustard oil and salt twice daily for 1 or 2 days. It will sooth the gums. Hope that helps.
