Now I am 68, in 2013 may-2nd., due to blocks in the blood running to brain. Now health wise, I am comfort but my left shoulder joints giving some problems by not allowing lift up & while bath - hand not allowing to my back for cleaning and giving discomforts for washing after tools. I am doing some exercises as per my Dr's advise with the help of an Physiotherapist for the past 6 months. But no improvement.

This can be due to 2 reasons. Blocks in your brain causing paralysis of the muscles. Other reason can be due to a muscle tear which causes inability to lift your shoulder. Did you injure your shoulder anytime in the past?

I was cured from spinal koch's and compression of disc between d10-d11, in march. 2012 after taking treatment ak2 for 18 months. Now I am excess weight and put up some belly also. Does this cause lower back pain as I am getting it now. Please clarify.

Yes, weight is the biggest problem of back pain. It affects specially the lumber region (L4, L5). So, u better take some action now. Do exercises and at the same time control your diet. Thank you.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Use pepper back rest. Use ls belt. Avoid long sitting and standing. Start back straightening exercises.

Hi , have you checked your uric acid level, ra factor which may be causing your knee and leg to pain. You can take following tablet 1) sallaki 600tablet 2tablet twice daily after food (if pain is severe take thrice) 2) dazzle capsule 1cap thrice after food3) orthofit capsule 1cap twice daily4) also take ganda taila capsule daily 1twice after food5) apply oaril liniment thrice on your knees for pain relief.

Neck pain may be you are having cervical spondylosis. Get a x-ray done for neck then consult a orthopaedic surgeon. In the meantime you can do some neck exercise regularly urn your neck slowly on both sides chin up and down slowly then rotate the neck circularly slowly no jerking movements at all ok?

If only one leg is painful than there has to be some kind of pathology and we need to diagnose after personal consultation. It can be due to anaemia, gout, arthritis, varicose veins etc.

Hi initially take following precautions 1) stop normal physical activity for couple of days. 2) apply hot fermentation 3) do not do activities that involves heavy lifting or twisting of your back for few days 4) after 2 to 3 weeks, slowly begin to exercise 5) avoid wearing high heals and lifting heavy bags. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Inform after 10 days for further guidance.

You need to give complete rest to the part effected and take tab lyser D twice a day for a few days you can also apply volini gel on that part and apply a crepe bandage on it

Hi if you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Dear pelvic floor muscles are the one which you tighten when you have an urge to pass stools but the toilet is not available. Understand. In normal conditions when you tighten and release these muscles. It strengthens your pelvic floor. Take care.

Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Take frequent breaks at work. Core strenthening exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

I am feeling symptoms of pain in the base of my leg towards ankle side or heel side which touches the floor. -usually feel pain whenever legs are hanged in air for a long time -after getting up in morning, pain is exaggerated if I do running a day prior. Pain goes away once I get up and start some movement.

If you getting pain in heal while putting your weight ,it will be heal spur .or if your getting pain in calf muscle and behind the ankle means it will be Achilles tendonitis .just go for x-ray for heal spur.

Sudden severe gym exercises can start symptoms like these. Take rest for few days. Restart gradually build & up stamina. It could be oa/obesity do hot fomentation.
