It might be because of bad posture while standing walking and sitting try to correct your posture, and you can use hot fermentation that will reduce your pain. For that dip a towel in to hot water squeez it and wrap around your lower back.

Neck advice hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

Dear lybrate-user, check for your posture. Backache is aggravated with unsupported sitting for long hours, lifting a heavy backpack. Sit with a proper back support. Avoid bending forward and lifting heavy weights. Start taking hot water bag for relieving spasm and stiffness in the back muscles.

I am of 20 and I got 4-5 times Ankle sprain in my life till now and is of 2-3 grade. Recently it happened last to last week. The ligament name ATFL is injured all time time I got sprain. Sudden severe gym exercises can start symptoms like these. Take rest for few days. Restart gradually build & up stamina. It could be oa/obesity do hot fomentation. Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 twice a day after lunch and dinner. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Take green vegetables. Drink juice. Eat fruits. Drink 7-8 glass of water in a day. May be you are having pain in the heels, its generaaly due to hard footwear and vit d deficiency. Please use sport shoes to walk and take vit d supplements.

Dear User, visit any Physiotherapy center and ask for Inferential and ultrasonic treatment. With the help of excercises apka kamar dard kam hojayega and aap apna vitamin D check karwaiyye. Agar wo bhi kam ho tho kamar dard asakta hai.

Hi Lybrate user Apply diclofenac gel in painful area after 3 - 5 min, keep hot pack 10 minutes thrice a day. Do some mild ex's, because ex's also relief pain. Ex's like Straight leg raise, Cat and camel ex's, pelvic bridging, stretching. Thank you.

Hi 1) protect the joint with a brace or wrap. 2) rest the joint, avoiding any activities that cause you pain. 3) ice the joint for about 15 minutes, several times each day. 4) compress the joint using an elastic wrap. 5) elevate the joint above the level of your heart. 6) if you are overweight do exercise like swimming or cycling to reduce weight. Still you don't get relief consult me via lybrate as further investigation may be needed.

Causes and Symptoms of Avulsion Fracture

A small piece of bone is known as a fragment and it is very common that an avulsion fracture also tends to damage the protrusions of bone to which the tendons attach. This basically means that the tendon or ligament will come away from the bone and it will take a small piece of bone with it. It is sometimes very hard to find out what type of injury you have and this is why knowing the causes and symptoms of an avulsion fracture are very helpful in determining exactly how severe the injury is.

Here are the causes of an avulsion fracture.

Causes:

  1. Explosive Landing: Athletes who tend to jump or land with great impact tend to get these most commonly. Therefore, it is crucial for your health that if you participate in such sports, you do follow the correct method of jumping.

  2. Explosive Extension: Similar to how an athlete landing ferociously can get an avulsion fracture, someone who is extending the legs very violently and explosively during an exercise can also get an avulsion fracture. This is because the bone getting extended could very well damage the protrusions to which the tendons are attached.

Symptoms:

These are the two main causes of an avulsion fracture. There are not many symptoms of an avulsion fracture. This is because an avulsion fracture can only be determined by an MRI or by an X-ray scan. Therefore it is nearly impossible to diagnose that you have an avulsion fracture without looking at the results of the tests performed on the part of your body. However, the way you got the fracture and especially the details of it are very good indications of whether you have an avulsion fracture or not. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

My advise is always to keep sugar levels under control by regularly checking it and consulting diabetologist. Also proper diet helps. Secondly, keeping yourself physically fit like daily morning walks for 2-3 km in a day, general conditioning exercises, abdominal strengthening ex, adequate calcium and vitamin d intake keeps bone metabolism healthy. Meanwhile please get few blood tests done: cbc, esr, crp, serum electrolytes and serum vitamin d levels. We shall supplement in case there is any deficiency. Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, inform
