Do hot fomentation, Go for morning walk if required with stick. Get your blood tested for hemogram, sugar, uric acid, thyroid and vitamin D3, to rule out anemia, infection, diabetes, thyroid, gout and vitamin D deficiency.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again.

Give to your mother r compound tablet 2 after break fast 2 after lubch end 2 after dinner end 1calcium tablet with milk after dinner for a month end feedback. Massaje miostol oil on knees. Walk 1 km daily.

What causes osteoarthritis and how to prevent it?

The condition of osteoarthritis is very common as you age. The condition is said to affect women more than men and is mainly due to the low estrogen levels that women tend to experience once they cross the age of 50.

What causes this most common form of arthritis?

The problem of osteoarthritis (oa) takes place when the soft but firm connective tissue is known as cartilage found in between bones of your joints (such as knees, ankles or elbows) deteriorates. This soft connective tissue is vital for ensuring frictionless motion of joints. During osteoarthritis, the surface of this tissue takes on a rough texture, and consequently, it wears down completely.

What can you do to reduce the risk of developing osteoarthritis?

There are several simple ways that you can employ to prevent this condition from occurring and these are:

1. Maintain a healthy body weight

Being overweight is one of the leading risk factors for osteoarthritis. The extra body weight causes additional pressure to be exerted on weight-bearing joints like knees and hips. As time passes, this additional strain damages the cartilage that acts as pads between bones of the joints. Additionally, the extra body weight also causes your body to produce a destructive protein known cytokines, leading to inflammation of the joint areas.

2. Maintain an optimal blood sugar level

High levels of glucose in your body bring about the development of certain chemicals that make cartilage rigid and more susceptible to mechanical stress. Controlling abnormal blood sugar levels is vital for reducing this risk of inflammation that can lead to the loss of cartilage and joint damage.

3. Indulge in physical activity

Indulging in any kind of physical can help in keeping your joints healthy. You need to spend about 30 minutes of each day on performing the moderately intense exercise. This will ensure not only the ability of your joints but also make stronger the muscles that hold up and steady your hips and knees.

4. Have a well-balanced diet

Including certain foods in your diet can help in reducing your chances of developing osteoarthritis. A well-balanced diet that prevents oa should consist of ample amount of omega - 3 fatty acids, vitamin d and vitamin c. While fatty fish like tuna and salmon, eggs, sunlight etc are considered to be good sources of vitamin d, strawberries, tomatoes and potatoes are just a few of the food sources that you can consider for meeting your vitamin c requirements. For meeting your omega - 3 fatty acids requirement, you can consume fish oil as well as plant or nut oils.

Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

Dear, low back pain are often referred for physical therapy for four weeks as an initial conservative (nonsurgical) treatment option before considering other more aggressive treatments, including back surgery. The goals of physical therapy are to decrease back pain, increase function, and teach the patient a maintenance program to prevent future back problems. Common forms of physical therapy include: 1.Passive physical therapy (modalities), which includes things done to the patient, such as heat application, ice packs and electrical stimulation. For example, a heating pad may be applied to warm up the muscles prior to doing exercising and stretching, and an ice pack may be used afterward to sooth the muscles and soft tissues. I am 24 years old when ever I am going for playing football so suddenly I have a backache.

Backache is the commonest ailment. Do not worry, rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore. Sudden severe exercises can start symptoms like these. Take rest for few days. Restart gradually build up stamina.

Hello Mr. Prs, having trouble in movement and difficulty in eating properly suggests there is some problem in the brain. Dear lybrate-user, kindly get same examined as it might be postural lbp or pivd. Kindly improve your sitting posture. Avoid slouching or sitting without back support for long duration. Avoid long hours of continuos sitting. Take break after every 1 hour & move around. Take proper diet/milk & do 10 minutes of back strengthening ex's.

We have get some good result in by ayurveda. We generally prefer panchkarma in such cases. I advice you to do virechana (medicated purgation) n basti (ayurvedic medicated anema course). Only they can help you. After panchkarma starts ayurveda medicine. You can easily get information about basti n virechana. Basti is main treatent of asthi dhatu (diseases of bones). Katibasti n grivabasti are also good treatment.

Eat healthily, take your medicines no other advice works or required. Don't believe in specific RA diets, they don't help. Junk food is bad for the body, as it is for RA. If you feel something is causing your RA to flare, avoid it. But most times wrong perpetuated myths give you psychological belief that certain foods cause arthritis, which has no conclusive evidence whatsoever. Best wishes

Hi, take cap, nasollerin 1-1-1 after food for 2-3 days. Avoid cold and refrigerated food. Drink boiled and cooled water. Take steam inhalation by adding 1 or 2 drops of eucalyptus oil to boiling water. Wear warm clothing. Avoid intake of sweets and oil fried food. Take koflet cough syrup 2 tsf 3 times a day for about a week.

I am 68 years old suffering from knee joint pains. Doctors advised for knee replacemnt surgery. But is their any medicine or ointment to cure the pain. I am managing to walk but cannot climb stairs. Please advise.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Joint & back pain 1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.
