I am suffering from depression and from Medical profession only. With so many pending aims in life. But life seems got stuck because of depression. The most prominent symptom is non refreshing and non restorative sleep. I am taking bupropion 300 mg. Daily from last 1 years it has helped me a lot but still I am not able to sleep properly which results in foggy next day with poor concentration, lethargic i am not taking any sleeping pills regularly. But whenever I take zolfresh 5 mg in night next morning I feel so refreshed nd I need not to worry about the tasks which I have to handle. Without zolfresh its impossible to carry out all the taks. Now my concern is If I take zolfresh 5 mg daily. For long time. Will it make me to become dependent on it. If I take it for long time. Any permanent effects. Now my concern is shall I go with zolfresh or not?

If you are taking these medications on your own, it is advised that you consult a Psychiatrist who will assess you in detail and prescribe medication as per your symptoms. Self medication does more harm than good, and without proper knowledge or understanding of the medications, you are likely to end up worse off. If you are taking these medications on advice of a Psychiatrist, talk to them about your current symptoms and they will make changes in your medication to make you more comfortable. Do not experiment on yourself, the results can be disastrous.

Hi lybrate-user wazib, panic attack comes under anxiety disorder. For anxiety disorder first episode you have to take medication for 1 n half year or so as directed by psychiatrist and complete the full course. If you do not complete it and leave it on your own will you will have a relapse which you had and symptoms will come with greater intensity. So have patience and now do not leave your medicine in between complete the full course you will not have to take it life long if you religiously follow it in initial period. Secondly, apart from medication you should consult a psychologist for psychotherapy of these anxiety attacks. The cause of most panic attacks is not clear, so treatment may be different for each person. Medication is used for prevention and/or immediate alleviation of symptoms and is usually the main line of treatment. In addition, psychotherapy such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation, and/or meditation are often used to help relax the body and relieve anxiety. First and foremost thing you need to learn is breathing retraining it's so important to control and prevent hyperventilation. You can do this in two ways: slower breathing right when you think you're going to have a panic attack, train yourself to slow down your breathing. Breathe in for at least 5 seconds, hold for 2 or 3 seconds, and breathe out for at least 7 seconds. Make sure you're breathing in through your nose and either out through your nose or out through pursed lips like you're whistling. These won't prevent panic attacks, but they'll make them far less severe. Retraining you should also take time out of your day to practice this type of breathing method even when you don't have a panic attack. Panic attacks and anxiety train your body out of its normal breathing pattern. Taking 30 minutes out of every day to practice this type of breathing can help your body re-learn how to breathe this way, and should make you less likely to hyperventilate in the future. When you have anxiety and panic attacks, your body can learn to breathe so poorly that you hyperventilate even without a panic attack. This causes panic attack-like symptoms, which can then trigger an actual panic attack. So teaching yourself how to breathe better is very important. There are many other ways to learn to control panic attacks naturally. You can consult me for same. All the best.

How to Keep Anger at Bay

How to Keep Anger at Bay

Anger is a normal emotion. However, it is equally important to keep anger under control. Just like any other emotion, anger too varies from person to person and from one circumstance to another. Uncontrolled anger can lead to mental and physical stress. It also causes stress in relationships and hampers overall well-being.

Anger that cannot be controlled comes with a physical reaction. Your heart beats faster preparing you for both action and reaction. Your breathing quickens. You may clench your fist, tighten your shoulders and go into a defensive position. An angry person may lash out verbally and at times physically. Such things done in the heat of the moment may leave one with regrets or bad consequences.

Here are some of the ways that you could learn to gain control on your temper:

  1. Recognize the signs: Once you know that a problem exists, you must try devising ways that will work for you in dealing with the situation. You can count to 10 to calm yourself or simply decide to not speak until you can calm yourself. Knowing that you may enter into an argument in a situation, you can list down the points that you feel strongly about and discuss each of them one by one. Working your way through a finite list gives a better opportunity to reach closure at the end.
  2. Find ways to let it go: Not all arguments end in closure. A lot of unsaid justifications cloud our mind repeatedly leaving us seething from the inside. Research has shown that the neurological anger response lasts less than two seconds. Beyond that it takes a strong will to stay angry. Once you realize how much your anger is consuming your mind, decide to free your mind with meditation and other calming exercises. Tell yourself that some people and issues simply don't deserve your anger, emotion, reaction or time.
  3. Focus on the present: Whenever you're angry, don't look back at the past. By doing so, you may end up bringing past grievances into your present situation, while holding others responsible for feeling how and what you feel. Instead focus your attention on what you can do in the present to work out the issue.
  4. Hold no grudge: Holding on to the negative feelings will have a negative impact on the health. Focusing on the present will enable one to let go off bad experiences with a person. Letting negative experiences go not only keeps the relationship healthy, but also keeps you away from stress and harmful emotions. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a psychologist.

You are suffering from dhhat syndrome and it's just a myth that if we lose our semen it makes us week. It actually a fear which allows the quacks to grow their practice. Just think if doing sex make someone weak, every married person should be weak. Another explanation is semen is nothing to do with our body weakness.

Hello, Dandruff causes hair loss so its necessary to treat dandruff first. Take Thuja 200, 5 drops in the morning, once in a week. Take Arnica Q and Cochleria arom. Q in equal amount, mix with equal amount of coconut oil, and apply this on your scalp, thrice a day. Wash your hair with B&T Anti- Dandruff Shampoo. Home remedies are as follows:- Coconut oil helps eliminate dandruff due to its antifungal properties. It also moisturizes dry scalp and provides relief from itching. Take some coconut oil and mix half the amount of lemon juice in it. Rub it on your scalp and massage for a few minutes. Wash your hair after at least 20 minutes. Follow this remedy two to three times a week. Revert me after 1 month.

My daughter has been married for 4 months but is unable to consummate her marriage as she says she just can' t get the feeling for her husband despite trying and now the marriage is on the brink of break down, kindly guide

Hypnotherapist, DCS, BSIC, Advanced Trainee of Transactional Analysis, Advanced Skills in Counselling
Psychologist,
You all need to sit down together and talk about the reasons for getting get married to her husband. If she is not feeling sexually attracted to her husband, then it' s a loss for both of them as sex is an important need for all humans. If they are interested, then they can visit a sexologist and counsellor, who can help them understand how to consummate their marriage and if they are having any differences between each other then they can be sorted out with the help of a counsellor. Nowadays, however, some couples are ready to live together without consummating their marriage with each other. Yet they have sexual partners outside of their marriage. If your daughter and her husband are open to this solution then it can be worked out this way. They can also remain as friends or companions within the marriage without having sexual relationship with anyone at all. A marriage need not break over this issue.
