I have a different type of problem in teeth. Actually i went through cleaning of teeth by a intern dentist 3 mnths ago. Problem is severe cold and some sensations in teeth. When it came in contact with air,it felt actually.

Dear , The sensitivity to cold is a common problem after tooth cleaning. It is not due to the procedure but due to the exposure of the sensitive part of tooth (Root), which takes place after the removal of calculus (Tartar in common language). Anyhow lets treat it. Buy Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief or Sensodyne or Sensodent KF or Thermoseal RA (either of them) toothpaste. Apply the paste, with the help of finger, to the outer and inner surfaces of teeth (especially in the teeth with sensitivity) and let it be there for 15- 20 minutes. Then take your toothbrush, wet. As paste is already there in mouth, brush your teeth with very soft hand. It is just like everyday brushing, only difference being that you have apply the paste for some time before you brush your teeth. As the paste already there, no need of applying paste to the brush. It will take almost three to 4 weeks, for the sensitivity to completely subside. It can subside early also, but if doesn't wait for 4 weeks. If you don't get relief upto 4 weeks, then go to a Periodontist. Now I will come to the harder part. In your case, I feel Periodontitis (Pyorrhea) has set in.As a result only scaling (cleaning of teeth) won't suffice. You have to seek the opinion of a Periodontist (Gum specialist) is definitely required. The reason being Pyorrhea being a very slow destruction of bone supporting your teeth, you will realize the actual difficulty when no or minimal bone will be left and your teeth becoming loose. At that stage saving your natural teeth will not be possible or in a compromised state. On the other hand if you undergo complete treatment, and follow the instructions properly then, you will never loose your teeth. Just make sure you consult a Periodontist. I am suffering from acne since the last 1 year. They keep on popping. They have caused black marks. My skin is oily. How can I cure the acne and marks.

Dear, These are the causes of acne: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid acne: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes.

Thank you for writing to us. Please note the following for your condition: the head should be massaged slowly with oil or shampoo while bathing or cleaning hairs resulting blood circulation becomes fast and the skin of the head is protected from dryness. Shampoo should be used only two times a week. Hairs should be washed with curd for removing dandruff. Spicy or fried foodstuffs should not be eaten. Excessive cream or jell should not be applied on hairs.

I'm very skinny and tall. I read on Internet that tall guys have high metabolism rate which means tall guys needs more energy than an average person. I eat quiet well. I take fruits and juices frequently. But I'm not seeing change in my physique. I am still like before. I consulted doctor. He gave me some tonic for energy. That syrup increased my hunger. An I'm eating more than before. I can't do push ups. Mostly 2 times. I can not do pull up. Not even one times. I'm weak. I can't walk much longer. I sleep more than usually 10-12 hrs. What's happening with me? What should I do?

Hye, Thanks for the query. Just adding fruits or juices will not help. Also tonic won't help if your diet is not right and healthy. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

I am pre diabetic. My blood sugar level is fasting 125 and pp 162. What precautions should i take?

Hello You are Pre Diabetic, and you have both Impaired fasting glycemia and impaired glucose tolerance. You need to take all dietary precautions and life style modifications in same way as Diabetics dose, Evidences suggest that almost 50 % of Pre Diabetics get converted to Diabetics over 5 years duration so you need to recheck Blood sugar levels regularly while observing all life style modification and closely monitor the fluctuations. Hello •Combine turmeric powder and gram flour. •Add oil and lemon juice to this. •Now add enough milk to get a paste like consistency. •Apply this mask to your face or any other body part where you have pigmentation. •Leave for 10-15 minutes. •Now wet your fingers a little and rub them on your face in circular motion over the dried mask. Give more attention to the pigment affected areas. •Do this for about 5 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. •Repeat this 2-3 times a week.

While BP can change from minute to minute with changes in posture, exercise, stress or sleep, it should normally be less than 120/80 mm Hg (less than 120 systolic AND less than 80 diastolic) for an adult age 20 or over.Typically more attention is given to the top number (the systolic blood pressure) as a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease for people over 50 years old. In most people, systolic blood pressure rises steadily with age due to increasing stiffness of large arteries, long-term build-up of plaque, and increased incidence of cardiac and vascular disease.

DEAR Lybrate USER. A) Take 10-10ml of ginger juice and honey before meal. B) take 30 ml of divya shwasari pravahi (PATANJALI AYURVEDA) along with 30 ml of water after meals. C) eat 5 gm of black cumin seeds along with 5 gm of jaggery after meals D) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for 15 days. Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.

Kindly show me photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Hello, well nothing is to be done if you are not feeling nausea as the worms would have been destroyed in the hydrochloric cid of the stomach and shall get digested. Just take a cup of curd after it.
