Unhealthy eating habits, dust and pollution wreck a havoc to the skin and has become a major worry for many.

For many, skin problem is one of the most persistent problems and it is imperative to take care of skin to avoid skin disorders. Various factors, such as pollution, smoking, eating processed food and a sedentary lifestyle contribute to unhealthy skin.

Skin issues can be really stressful. But right skincare treatment can help in controlling a lot of problems. Just by sticking to 6 simple ways, you can keep your skin healthy:

  1. Sun protection: Constant exposure to sun rays can cause a host of skin problems, such as skin cancer, wrinkles and age spots. The main culprits are the ultraviolet rays of the sun, which can cause damage to the skin when it is exposed. Using sunscreen and protective clothing can help protect the skin against UV rays.

  2. Stress management: Stress can trigger the skin sensitivity, which causes it to be acne prone. Thus, managing stress is beneficial for maintaining a healthy skin.

  3. Smoking: Smoking narrows the blood vessels in the skin that deliver oxygen and nutrients. Hence, it should be avoided to limit these problems.

  4. Regular exercise and hydration: Regular cardio exercises, such as jogging and swimming, pump the blood that carry nutrients and oxygen to the skin. Exercise causes loss of water in the body, which needs to be replenished. Water keeps the skin healthy and prevents skin problems such as acne and dry skin.

  5. Collagen supplements: These collagen supplements, especially in peptide form, considerable reduces wrinkles and will keep your skin firm and resilient.

  6. Intake of antioxidants: Exposure to the sun, pollution and other environmental factors give rise to free radicals in the skin. These free radicals damage cells in the skin by oxidation. 1. Check your hemoglobin, bp. 2. Avoid stress, anxiety, severe physical and mental exertion 3. Take adequate rest and sleep for 7-8 hours daily to remain healthy 4. Have good nourishing diet, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits etc 5. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily) 6. Take one capsule of revital daily after breakfast

Take high fiber low fat diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Ask me privately for customized diet plan for you.

Kindly take ashwagandha powder, 1 tsf in half a glass of warm milk, twice a day empty stomach. Take brahmi vati gold, 1 tab, twice a day after meals with a cup of warm milk. Go for a walk in the morning for 20-25 mins. Indulge yourself in your occupation. Stay positive, worse times also pass. Good luck. Continue the regime for 1 month.

Hello lybrate-user Shampoos will not help much as they act locally on the scalp whereas the cause of hairloss is inside the body. It could be improper diet, stress, lack of sleep, scalp infection, thyroid disorders, anemia, heredity, use of hair gels etc To control hair fall we need to treat or manage the cause which can be done by taking homeopathic treatment which will help stabilize your condition and improve health on the whole as well. For graying of hair you have not mentioned your age, it shows good results in children but inadults reversing is not possible only prevention can be done. That is great! all the best. - eat proteins, vitamin c and vitamin e more. -eat beetroot, carrot and tomatoes for glowing healthy skin. - if your skin is dry, keep it moisturised, even if you have to do it thrice a day. -if your skin is oily, wash with oil care face wash thrice daily. -go for regular clean ups to a salon.(twice a month) -apply honey on face and keep for 10 minutes then rinse.

My brother got a knee injury during playing. And his MRI impressions are as follows. :Bucket handle tear of medial meniscus. :high grade partial tear of anterior cruciate ligament. :bone contusion/marrow edema in the posterior aspect of lateral tibial condyle and in the lateral femoral condyle. :Grade-2 sprain in medial collateral ligament. :moderate joint effusion. If there is lot of swelling wait for two weeks to settle down and wear a knee brace or immobilizer and definitely you will need surgery for that as torn meniscus will cause arthritis if not removed and acl should be reconstructed if ruptured surgery is safe and you should opt for surgery.
