Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

She should start taking vitamin d supplements along with calcium. Uprise d (60, 000) iu. Once a week for for 12 weeks. Tab calcium sandoz 500 mg once a day for 1 month sunlight exposure for 15-20 minutes, (8-10am! sunlight only consult privately for any further help.

Since your history is only 2 days old, you should not worry as it could just be a soft tissue problem especially if there is no history of any bony injury. You can start with ice packs, gentle anti inflammatory medications, local analgesic spray and see how it goes for next 3-5 days, please contact me if it does not improve after 3-5 days time. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

My wife 31 had pain from 4 years in upper back, hand, neck on back side cannot lift arm up, can not move her head right or left easily, mri report shows her vein being touching her back bone (as its got close at some point), what to do, she feels pain in right hand too and one of his vein coz the problem what to do?

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, I guess you have tennis elbow. Avoid sports activity if any. Else avoid any activity which causes you pain (for the next 15 days). Do hot fomentation and apply volitra gel, 2-3 times a day and support your elbow with a 3' crepe bandage in day hours. Take indocap sr and pentop, one each twice a day for 7- 10 days. I hope you will settle. If not. Revert to me. Take care.

Hello, It's advisable to take suggestion from the same physician who is treating him as he knows your father's whole history and would be able to guide you (for any investigations) properly. Medication: For pain, can give him Mag. Phos. 6x/ thrice daily.

Neck problems can affect the shoulders, arms, and even hands. These problems can be caused by wear and tear over the years, trauma, or simply" over-doing-it" one weekend. Neck pain radiating down the arms is often caused by cervical spinal stenosis or a herniated disc. You should seek the medical advice of a physician or a physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your pain. Physiotherapist treat initial pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms with heat and cold, electrotherapy, manual therapy (soft tissue and spinal mobilizations), and light specific exercise. As pain decreases, they focus on regaining range of motion, strength, and endurance, while encouraging correct body mechanics and postures. Final stages of back care include regaining muscular control and reaction time to help prevent further injury.

Your high bp and kidney disease is interrelated. The swelling of the leg nsy be due to gravitational eadema of leg for prolonged position of legs or could be duebto medicine which by or are taking for your blood pressure. So best thing would be to consult your treating physician. Do not self medicate.

From your question I would advice the following treatment. > make sure that you tie a crape bandage around your hand and elevate your hand for 1 hour daily. This will reduce the swelling. >you could start with the usage of ice packs daily for your hands. >your pain and swelling should come down.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Very important never stop avoiding overhead activities this may worsen the condition. You can first apply some ice packs around the shoulder joint then go for a proper streching of shoulder muscles and start using your shoulder joint to swing front and back and side ways and even in circular movements. Make your spine bend forward and start doing the above.
