Periods delayed by 3-5 days one month need not be remarkable and can be observed. I would not advise you to interfere right now other than taking a pregnancy test. If the UPT is negative, you should wait and watch for appearance of menses. Your previous history of PCOD reveals the probability of hormonal disturbances that may well be present even now. Vaginal infections, however, happen in presence of lowered immunity, and may or may not be associated with hormonal reasons affecting the nature of vaginal epithelium and making it prone to infections. I'd suggest you to wait and watch for appearance of menses for may be even 1 more week. If not you can get tested for PCOS again and check your blood hormone levels, all of this after you have ruled out pregnancy.

Hello, My mother is suffering from Bell's palsy since 20th nov16, as she is diabetic Dr. did not have her prednisone ...
Best is she has been though physiotherapy how about she continuing her on daily basis, then blowing the baloon exercise ,blowing the same side of the face without baloon it will significantly improve over a period of time. It may not be 100 percent nrmal but will be close. Age is also one of the factors thats what I understand and experience. 2 warnings keep her away from TV, Stress, cold weather cover uself well these might aggrevate it.

. 1. It could be due to essential tremor. The cause of the tremor is unknown. In some cases it is hereditary and runs in families. There is no definite treatment unless it is severe 2 other causes of tremor could be stress, anxiety, panic, nervousness, inadequate sleep, physical exhaustion, strong emotion, hyperthyroidism, hypoglycemia, smoking/tobacco/alcohol abuse/withdrawl, excess tea/coffee, drugs like steroid/amphetamine, neurological disorder, cerebellar dis order, brainstem disorder, multiple sclerosis mercury poisoning, liver failure, parkinsonism etc 3. Investigate yourself to exclude the above causes of tremor after consulting neurologist 4. Avoid stress/anxiety/nervousness/ panic etc 5. Avoid excess tea/coffee/ smoking/alcohol if you have 6. Dear lybtateuser, - There is a ECG change which the report mentions as an early change, it may not be very significant unless you have signs & symptoms of any heart problem - you have to reduce your weight by dieting & regular exercise - have more of fruits & vegetables that is more of fibre containing foods, spinach, beans, legumes, nuts - avoid fried, processed, sugary, salty foods - do aerobic exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming for 30-40 min, do moderate weight lifting to boost your metabolism, try to include yoga, meditation & deep breathing for 10-15 min daily in the morning - monitor your BP, blood sugar, cholesterol, thyroid hormone level & weight regularly destress yourself by proper sleep for 7-8 hrs at night, reading, listening to music, follow a hobby.

Is pcos problem arise from childhood days or after puberty. If my baby girl has this problem, then I have to give her low gi foods.

Pcos mostly starts around puberty but inculcating healthy lifestyle in your girl starts early in childhood. Since this itself can lead to obesity and pcos later in adulthood.
