What are the treatment line for Diabetic Type II patient, aged 56 year & suffering sinc last 5 years.
take medicines regularly Following are the tips to prevent onset/or control diabetes 1-Losing Extra Weight:-The most significant thing which can make a big difference to your health is to lose your extra weight. This will not only lower your blood pressure but also helps lowering your cholesterol too. For woman: waist of 80 cm or more & for man: waist of 90 cm or more are at risk 2- Constant and regular food timings :-the timings at which you have your meals should be set fixed and at regular intervals each day. This will considerably improve your metabolic activity and helps reducing your weight. 3- Split your meals and eating in moderate amount:-Splitting your meals into 3-4 times per day (including snacks)and eating in fair and consistent amount , improves your metabolic rate as the food u take is not concentrated at one time. 4- No long Gaps and skipping of meals:-There should be no long gaps between meals. Never miss out breakfast. 5- No overeating:-Never eat in a bulk on one time .Try to have moderate amount of food each time u eat. It will help maintain your blood sugar at a healthy level and won’t let it to fluctuate. Remember to eat your food slowly, chew well. 6- Proper Exercise and work outs:-Exercise is very important and a fast way to trim down calories, extra weight and controlling glucose level. Brisk walking for 30 min. atleast five times a week is the best and easiest way of exercising. You can also try Cycling, swimming, dancing. Timings for exercise should be fixed and regular. Avoid heavy exercise. Do not eat right away after a workout . 7-constant and regular timings for medication 8-Avoid fried foods and meat: Limit fats and sweets. Rather choose a variety of foods including whole grains, fresh vegetables, salads, fruits, low fat dairy products. 9- Take high-fibre and complex carbohydrates:-like oats as they are easily broken down to basic sugars. Add whole grain foods in your diet. Avoid carbohydrates like white bread, pasta, pizza , candies, and snacks .Instead include high-fiber carbohydrates like wheat bran, flaxseed and methi seeds to your wheat flour. This will increase fibre in your diet. 10-Drink enough fluids:-Keep your body well hydrated. Drink a lot of water that will help flush the toxins off your system. 11.Fresh vegetables and fruits:- gives essential benefits as these contain a lot of vital minerals as well as nutrients .Include sprouts in the diet as they are easily digestible and a rich source of nutrients. 12- Avoid excess salt:-in form of pickles/papads etc. 1 tsp(5 gm)is sufficient for a healthy hypertensive individual. 13-Avoid alcohol consumption:-Alcohols such as beer and wine contains large amount of calories. choose sugar-free drink. 14- dairy products :-Dairy products are high on fat content such as cheese, curd, milk etc. So instead consume skimmed milk products , low fat cheese, yogurt (curd) etc. Do not have more than two cups of tea or coffee every day. Try green tea instead.

You should *take luke warm water only * take daal chawal, mung chaval only * use cow ghee & milk in diet, avoid curd * take dry black grapes 25, after meal 2 hour * avoid day sleep * start mahasudarshana kadha of sandu company, 3 tsp before meal * start tab sanshamani vati 2 2 2 before meal 1 hour.

If symptoms are sneezing, Running nose, blocked nose 1.Take proper rest/ lot of fluids 2. and Take proper home made diet. you can take Immune booster food daily in your diet 3. Do Steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days, 4. You can take Tablet Levocetrizine 5 mg one tablet after food once a day bedtime for 3 days.(if history of allergy to this medicine is not present) 5.warm Saline gargles twice a day for 2-3 days. and kindly tell me 1. Do you have fever also? 2. Is cough associated with throat pain ? 3 Is sputum is also coming ? and consult ENT surgeon for further management

Some times my pressure is getting low So at that time how can I manage my pressure.

For Maintain low blood pressure (BP) to normal level • Anaemia is a cause of low BP so check your hemoglobin level (Hb) if this is low so eat green leafy vegetables, beetroot and fruits like pomegranate. • Eat an apple daily it maintain your BP normal. • Take your meal daily do not skip meal. • Drink 8 - 9 glass of water daily. Hydrate your body well with drinking proper amount of water because dehydration is also cause fall of BP. • When you feel that your BP is low then take 2 teaspoons of Glucon D and add a pinch of salt mix it in one glass of water and drink it. You can repeat it after 2 hours. This will maintain electrolyte balance and your BP. You can drink a cup of tea. • Drink a glass of milk daily. It maintain your stamina. • Take a multivitamin capsule daily for 15 days. • Eat a teaspoon of gulkand daily and maintain your blood sugar level. • Do long breathing pranayams daily and do not take stress.

1.Little bit of bending to one side upto 25 degree is considered normal. So don't worry 2. If the bending is more and it is associated with painful erection, it is due to thickening of fibrous tissue on one side as in Peyronie's disease and may need surgery. 3.you may consult urologist for advice.

For taking extra vitamins you need to have a reason ; Taking vitamin supplements for no reason is not good; Moreover fat soluble vitamins like Vit. D if taken in excess may cause toxicity; Good nutritious balanced diet diet is preferable; Vit D supplements can be taken only if blood report shows deficiency of Vit D and Vit b12 on blood test; Take Iron supplements if you are Anaemic; If you feel weak try to diagnose the cause otherwise taking vitamins for so called weakness or for daily use is not good.

I am 28 year old professionally a software engineer I feel that I procrastinate things ,become confuse with spellings while writing. Finds difficulty in continuously speaking and prompt answering. Dear lybrate user, it is excellent to have a dream and it is wonderful to make sincere efforts to achieve the dream. It is also very important to have rational expectations, so that the goal is achievable. Hence, don't look at iitians and nitians. Focus on your dream and understand what skills will be required to achieve that dream, make a systematic plan, have a detailed schedule for each month/week/day and try to do things as per the schedule. Remember that what you do today is going to affect your future. So you will have to make conscious efforts to get rid of your habit of procasination. You probably are under stress and have fatigue. Try to take healthy diet, lots of water, do some exercise, and try to get at least 7 - 8 hours of sleep every day. Stop comparing yourself with others. Every person in this person is unique. There will always be many people who will be better than you and there will be many people who are not as good as yourself. So stop comparing. Always compare your current performance with your previous performance. Try to improve on that, learn new skills. Nlp would be helpful. You may also talk to a counsellor. Take care.

You need get your eyes tested first to rule out any vision defect. Get checked for sinusitis by an ent surgeon, get your blood pressure also checked. If every thing comes as normal it could be due to anxiety/tension. So learn some relaxation technique like meditation from a yoga teacher and practice the same regularly for relief.
