Work is a part of life, work is not life. One tends to be addicted to work for various reasons 1. You enjoy what you do 2. You are not confident about the work quality and therefore keep at it so that no one can point out mistakes 3. You feel if you are not worried about your work, that means you are not a responsible person. 4. You have no hobbies or plan for what to do after work. Assess what is your reason for being a workaholic. Set daily targets for yourself and while planning your day in the morning itself plan for the family time. Avoid going on the social media, rather start with whatever is easiest for you to do - chatting with a friend, family member, pursuing a hobby (social networking is not a hobby- it is an escape from the real world).

It is called amnesia- it can occur at times after head injury. Do not panic- neither let your friend panic. Try to keep him happy and gradually introduce people to him and let him remember at his own pace. Time is the biggest healer in such cases.

Your weight should be around 58-59 kg. At your age weakness generally occurs due to low haemoglobin although I am suggesting to consult any physician. But in the meanwhile try to follow my suggestions you will feel the improvement. Try to make your diet plan such that it should be energetic as well as rich in iron. Eat fruits and vegetables containing vitamin c such as guava, lemon, oranges as vitamin c help in absorption of iron. Eat palak, green vegetables, chiku include fibre containing food in your diet ,also include protein rich diet. Don't skip lunch or dinner. If you need my help regarding this you can contact me.

Hello, Anxiety, which often is associated with insomnia and feelings of fear, is due primarily to aggravation of vata dosha in the nervous system. So to heal anxiety, we have to balance vata. Here are several effective Ayurvedic remedies to pacify vata, heal anxiety and fear, and improve your sleep. CALMING TEA. Make a tea of the following herbs: tagar or valerian 1 part musta 1 part Steep ½ teaspoon of these herbs in 1 cup hot water for 5 to 10 minutes, and drink. This formula effectively pacifies vata and reduces anxiety. You can drink this tea twice a day. RELAXING BATH. A warm bath of ginger and baking soda will help you pacify anxiety. Use ⅓ cup ginger and ⅓ cup baking soda in a tubful of water. Soak for 10 to 15 minutes. ALMOND MILK. Almond milk helps to eliminate anxiety. Soak about 10 raw (not toasted) almonds overnight in water. Peel off the skins, and put the almonds in the blender. Add 1 cup warm milk. While blending, add a pinch of ginger and a small pinch of nutmeg and saffron. ORANGE JUICE. For anxiety accompanied by a fast heart rate, a cup of orange juice with 1 teaspoon of honey and a pinch of nutmeg powder can be effective. CALMING PRESSURE POINT. Make a fist with your left hand, so that the fingers rest in the middle of the palm. Locate the point where the middle finger ends, in the “heart” of the palm. Then, with the thumb of your right hand, press firmly on this point in the center of your left hand. Press for 1 minute. This will calm down the agitation of prana, which causes anxiety. Hope this helps.

After antidepressants there is need to take psychotherapy. Medicine will work some time. But the psychological feelings cannot stop. You are feeling insecure feelling. Now you need life style management. If it is possible change yourself. Be think in a positive manner. Be friendly with others. Be share your all feelings with your friends. Be happy all the time. If it is not possible to yourself then take the help of psychologist. Ok all the best. Best wishes.

Psychologist,
Losing your spouse at this age in not easy. The reason for your depression could be loneliness, missing her, insecurity about your future, cold weather, disinterest in daily routine. Try to get back to a normal routine, having a social life, cultivating a hobby, meeting relations and friends etc. Go out in the sun, start exercising on a daily basis. All this may not be possible on your own as motivation levels may be very low right now. Please see a psychiatrist/psychologist/homeopath/vaidya for medical advice and emotional support.

The memory from around the accident full recovery is often lost since the patient is usually not fully conscious. Also a lot of memory depends on the sure of injury. Most patients do gradually recover over time with a lot of assistance. You can also contact any psychologist who is trained in cognitive retraining to assist with recovery.
