Sir, I am getting undergone Route Canal Treatment and completed 4 sittings. I did not open my mouth easily, from the 2nd day of the treatment. When I want to open my mouth, I am suffering from unbearable pain in that side jaw. The Dentist replied that you have muscular pain and suggested pain relievers. But no use. May I use any Anti biotic with pain relievers? Kindly suggest any medication.

It is a dental problem. You might have some missing teeth in your mouth ,specially back molar teeth. This causes disturbance in closing and biting your upper and lower teeth properly. And hence some problem in your TMJ joint (jaw joint ,near your ear. If you have no pain then it's not emergency. But better you consult a dentist and get your bite corrected.

Eat lot of fruits & green leafy vegetables & drink plenty of water. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need coronoplasty (smoothen teeth edges) along with t. Rebagen 10, morning one tab & one at night for 5 days, c. Becosules 5 cap, for five days in the morning after meals. Hexigel ointment on the area of ulcer. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

I have a problem with my tooth on the left hand side lower jaw, my last tooth root has gone round instead of straight. I met with the dentist and he suggested me to put out the last tooth. Please give me the solution of the problem.

I am assuming you have a problem with your wisdom tooth. If you have a problem with that tooth, usually the best option is to extract. However, if it is another tooth, then extraction is usually done only as a last resort. If you are not sure about the opinion of your dentist, you can always see another dentist, or an Oral Surgeon, for a second opinion.

Hello lybrate-user, Your description fits that of Sialorrhea or excessive salivation. Well the causes for this can be several some of which include: cavities infection gastroesophageal reflux pregnancy certain tranquilizers and anticonvulsant drugs exposure to toxins, such as mercury A detailed history will help your doctor define the cause of the problem. Treatment will depend on the cause. If cavities get them restored. If the causes are otherwise then injections may have to be administered. Your doctor will be able to best judge and treat it accordingly. Depending on the cause, increased salivation may resolve with treatment or require close management over time.

Hello, you can do salt water rinses but this will give temporary relief from pain. Visit a dentist and get it checked if there is a cavity get it filled or if there is infection to roots get it treated. Brush twice daily, maintain proper brushing technique, floss regularly and rinse after every meal. Visit your dentist every 6 months.
