Hello lybrate-user- weight gain depends not only on diet but also on sound sleep. Try these ayurvedic tips and medicine- a) sleep at least 8-10 hrs a day. B) eat food according to your digestion over eating sometimes causes indigestion which in turn causes weight loss. C) increase dairy products and non-veg diet in your meals. D) use shatavari kalpa 1 tsp twice daily, ashwagandha pak 1 tsp twice. Madhu malini vasanta 1 tab twice a day. You will see improvements within few weeks.

4 Steps to Control Your Phobia!

Everybody has fears. But when is it a phobia and not simply a fear? There are certain symptoms to look out for such as difficulty breathing, feeling dizzy or light headed, trembling or shaking, feeling overwhelmed, fear of losing control, an intense need to leave the space etc. Phobias can be categorized into many different types like animal phobias (snakes, spiders, rodents etc.), natural environment phobias (heights, storms, water, dark etc.), situational phobias (enclosed spaces, flying, driving etc.) and blood-injection-injury phobias (illness, needles, medical procedures etc.).

It is important to know when it is time to seek help for your phobia. Some ways you could know are:

  1. You recognize the fear is unreasonable and excessive
  2. You start avoiding certain places and situations
  3. Your avoidance interferes with daily functioning
  4. You’ve had the phobia for at least 6 months

In the meanwhile, follow these steps to help control your phobia:

1.  Make a list:

Make a list of all the situations related to your phobia that you are frightened of. For example, if you are afraid of flying, your list may include waiting at the security point, booking your ticket, watching other planes take off or land etc.

2. Create you fear ladder:

Arrange the items on your list from least to most scary. The first item can induce anxiety but not so much that it stops you from trying it. When creating this ladder, keep in mind what you want your end goal to be, this can help you breakdown the items easier.

3. Work your way down the ladder:

Start working your way down the ladder taking it one step at a time. Start with the first item on your list then only when you are comfortable with that should you move on to the next item. It is important to wait until the item you are on no longer gives you any anxiety before moving on the next one.

4. Practice:

It is important to practice this as often as you can. Repeated exposure to the fear will reduce the anxiety being felt. That being said, don’t rush through the steps. Go at a pace you are comfortable with and don’t move on until you on longer feel anxious in that situation.

While you are going through the items it is important to consciously breathe when anxious. When we are anxious our breathing gets hitched, our heart rate increases and we star sweating. When this happens, it is important to take some deep breaths and relax your whatever muscles are tensing. When your breathing normalizes again try going into the situation again to breathe deeply while doing so.

Hello doctors, I am 22 year old guy. I am vegetarian by choice I want to be muscular like gymnast. My trainer always used to say me to eat eggs and meat which I could not eat at any cost. If you want to avoid non veg. There are so many eatable which you can take easily like banana, veg. Smoothy sprouts soya beans soaked figs black raisons. You need. Protein intake. You may take cheese also.

Hello docs, I am 28 years old and I am obese. My weight is 105 kgs. Height is 5'11 I am now doing running jogging walking and joined gym. M also eating vegetables and avoiding junk food. And measuring my calorie intake. But my weight is decreasing very slow. Hello, along with your daily routine of diet and exercising you should follow the below to loose the weight. 1. Take phytolacca berry tablets (wsi), 2 tablets with warm water, three times a day, half an hour before meals. 2. Take 2 tabs of vriksh amla thrice daily with warm water. Thanks.

I am 31 yr old and going through a big problem. I work in retail industry and leave @ 9am in d morning and return home @mid night. Such stress has given numbers of health problems. 1. I became an alcoholic person due to stress 2. After I came back home I don't get that sex drive. Though my wife is not complained abt this but I can feel her pain, this is making me depress. Dear lybrate-user, You are only 31 years old. You seem to be having both alcohol and sexual problem. Stress need not be controlled by alcohol alone. There are other methods of stress management. Both loose erection and quick evacuation may be due to lack of proper blood supply to penis. You need to get your blood sugar, BP, lipids and heart checked up. If anything is disturbed, it needs to be corrected. Alcohol increases your desire to have sex and takes away the performance. Please ask your wife whether it is lack of sex or alcohol and late return from work bothers her more. If you stop alcohol, you may spend some quality time with your wife. She will be happy and help you to get better erection and delayed ejaculation. With all the reports come online text or audio.

Hi development of beard depends on the hereditary factors and medicines have less role in this condition. Still you can try applying minoxidil 5 percent lotion on the affected areas twice daily. Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Hello- Don't have sex in positions that your body is not used to being in until you do some stretching and warming up. Start a daily or three times a week exercise regimen. You may be simply out of shape. Start some herbal aphrodisiacs on daily basis along with it. It will solve your issue.
