You are right, antifungal medicines do carry side effects if taken for long periods, this is the reason to shift to local ointments minus steroids at the earliest, talk to your doctor.

Treatment of increased sgpt sgot and cholesterol and tg.
Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. It's difficult to do dieting, heavy exercise after a certain age and metabolism slows down but eating habits remain same specially in tv addicts. I can suggest healthy eating and healthy snacking, if you can change her habits, about check ups, I will suggest later. First things first. No diet charts, healthy eating will help you also. Give up sugar, sweets, fats, salt in moderation. Take lots of seasonal vegetables and fruits plus eating according to constitution. Take more proteins like milk and curds. All of these items have the much needed calcium, take fresh lemon. Take a spoon of honey added to it, and take with warm water every day in morning on empty stomach. Avoid things like snacks, street food, namkeem, street foods. Use minimum oils for cooking. Nothing new. Simple walk is best exercise. Encourage her to breathe fresh air near plants. Even if there's slight reduction in the weight but the body becomes more supple. Get her tested for blockages in heart by angiography or cardiac ct scan and get blood tested for sugar, thyroid profile done along with blood for lipids and ecg and may be halter test if she can tolerate. Get ultrasound abdomen. You get back here with reports. You will get more guidance from any of us here on the forum. Let her watch tv, if habitual of taking snacks in between, give her an apple.

All these are myths. Excess of everything is bad. No soft drink lead to diabetes. Eating egg yolk in excess raises cholesterol. Bt along with eating eggs you are doing good physical activity and a balanced diet it will not raise. Expecding many hours infornt of tv may cause problem but watching only for one two hours per day with proper sitting position will not.

You have to continue all of the above as suggested by your doctor. Cut down on extra salt which is present as a preservative in papads, namkeens, pickles, chutneys and other canned foods. Do not sprinkle salt on salads but do take seasonal fruits and vegetables , as much as you can digest ! Regarding generic medicines , I have no idea but through my experience I can suggest Ashok by Himalaya & to take fruits like pomegranate fresh or a concoction made with dry seeds boiled in water for sometime, drained and kept in fridge for a week, to be taken half a cup everyday.

You did not mentioned exactly if you are still continuing treatment! when you began this treatment? it could possibly be a side effect of same. If so, I would expect them to gradually settle as your body hormones equalise. However, it is worth getting your blood pressure checked if it has not already been recently and your doctor should be keeping an eye on your thyroid levels by doing regular blood tests too. Discuss your symptoms with your doctor rather than leaving them, since all these symptoms should always be checked out if they are an unusual occurrence in someone.
