Yes it is normal at your age. Irregular cycles are common during your age because of decline in estrogen hormone. It may become scanty and can come every 2-3 months also. If you have never been screened with pap test or ultrasound is not done, then it is an opportunity for you to get it tested now.

This my be due to some local infection in the vagina. Observe local hygiene- clean the area with little warm water once a day. Wear cotton under garments. No sex. Try for 5 days and report.

Hi lybrate user, if their is white discharge from vagina in pregnancy is normal provided that not associated with curdy white, thick, greenish, foul swelling, associated with itching. Pain in abdomen could be due to constipation or urine infection. Sometimes pain in lower abdomen dull aching is because of increasing size of the uterus. Please consult obstetrician if too much discharge or if it is not relived, associated with above symptoms.

Why Do Diabetic People Need to Eat Fat?

Diabetes is a condition that affects the pancreas to the extent that they do not release the required quantity of insulin, which can lead to a high blood sugar level as the body starts to absorb excess glucose from the food that it ingests. This can be of various types and have different implications for different patients. While many experts insist that keeping a low cholesterol level and low weight is a primary requirement for treatment of diabetes patients, there are a number of myths in this regard. Not eating fat is one such myth that we are out to prove wrong today.

So read on to find out why diabetic people need to eat fat:

  1. Saturated Fats and Trans Fats: There are studies that demonstrate how saturated fats can actually prove to be beneficial for diabetes patients. These can be found in various sources like fish and nuts. This releases heptadecanoic acids, which can normalise the blood sugar levels as well as the insulin and triglyceride levels in the body.
  2. Dairy Fat: The use of milk and yogurt as well as butter can actually be help in bringing the blood sugar levels down. It also shows up favourably on the lipoprotein markers. Butter in particular is known to have clarifying properties that can bring down the risk of diabetes as well. One must take care to use dairy products that are fat free. 
  3. Animal Fat: Having meat which releases fat and having dairy products like cheese and milk which releases healthy saturated fats are two different things. One can replace carbs and meat with these kinds of products so that there is better absorption and creation of quality animal fats which can actually help the insulin levels.
  4. Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated Fats: Food items like fish and nuts that carry high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids as well as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats can help patients suffering from diabetes by clearing the bloodstream of cholesterol and high lipid levels. This also prevents the risk of heart disease and arterial blockages. These kinds of fats are also found in flax seeds, soya products and walnuts. 

Going low on carbohydrates and avoiding sugar is usually recommended for patients suffering from diabetes. Yet, it is important to have your fill of essential fats as mentioned above with the help of dairy products, clarified better, omega three fatty acids, dry fruits, soya products and some amount of vegetable oils, as these actually have a number of benefits for these patients. These kinds of fats are not known to cause heart disease or high cholesterol.

1. Proteins: Especially essential during 3rd trimester (7th to 9th months of pregnancy). for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. (a) Major protein sources: Egg white(white portion), Milk, Soybeans/Soymilk, Fish, Cheese, Tofu. (b) Other protein sources: Beans with wheat, Nuts, Curd, Yogurt (Dahi) 2.Carbohydrates Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important during pregnancy to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. 3.Iron : Especially essential during 6th to 8th months of pregnancy). Helps in production of haemoglobin and transportation of oxygen to blood cells. 1. Largest mineral found in our blood which also helps in producing energy. . 2. If taking Iron and Vitamin C supplements, do not take them at the same time but after a gap of about 3 hours. Taking Vitamin C tablet helps in absorbing iron. Sources of Iron: 1. Vegetables: Spinach, Dark green leafy vegetables, Lentils(Daal). 2. Fruits: Avocados(Makhanphal), Peach(Adau), Pear(Nashpati), Pumpkin(Kaddu), Raisin(Kishmish), Pomegranate(Anaar). 3. Food: Eggs, Fish, Meat, Cereals, Almonds(Badam), Whole wheat bread, Soybean. 4.CALCIUM 1. Helps form strong bones, teeth, healthy gums, muscle growth and prevents muscle cramps. 2. Taking a small dose an hour before bedtime helps achieve sound sleep. Sources of Calcium: 1. Vegetables: Cabbage, Dark green leafy vegetables, Broccoli, Figs(anjeer), Flax seeds(San Beej). Food: Eggs, Milk, Dairy products, Yogurt(Dahi), Almonds(Badam), Soybeans/Soymilk.

How to control anger?
Although the senses require a certain amount of satisfaction, unless regulated they become like wild horses, forcing one to obey their whims.

Craving the objects of their satisfaction, the senses take control of the mind and intelligence, leading to frustration and anger when their impossible demands go unmet.

From this anger, delusion arises, and from delusion, bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, human intelligence is lost, leaving one in a hell of irrational behavior.

As fever is a symptom of some disease in the body, anger is a symptom of ongoing material hankerings.

Just as treating fever alone will not cure the disease, treating anger without understanding it to be a symptom of lust will not extinguish the unwanted behavior.

To conquer anger, we must first ask how we shall conquer lust.

You should get ultrasound after 23 to 29 march to find out status of your baby. Repeating the test is of no use now as it is already positive.

The person delivered an year back. Since then The period cycle is regular and happen after every 30 days. However the flow lasts only for a day or maximum 2. Whereas before pregnancy they used to last for 4-5 days.

She must be breastfeeding her child that's why menses r coming like this and is common after delivery. Also is she has put on weight then also it can happen and treatment would be weight reduction. If breastfeeding then no treatment needed, it will come normal flow once feeding is stopped.

Obesity is rapidly evolving as a public health issue for our country and as educated people we are responsible in contributing to the ever increasing problem. So what is there that leads to weight gain despite our all effort? The simplest answer is ignorance! Most of the person who are trying hard to curb on weight gain do not succeed in doing so due to inadequate and poor gathered information. Remaining hungry is not the solution for weight loss and we need to inculcate good habits in ourselves smartly to sustain it for long time, else you will loose kilos in few months and regain much more than that .This cycle would continue until we understand the basic of healthy eating.

So the important aspect is to make consistent and slow changes in our lifestyle to sustain ideal weight.

There are few bad habits to watch for:

  1. Fizzy drinks: Most of fizzy drinks are full of calories and they go down easy the throat. But before we realize we make our system take in loads of calories. Try to restrict on your soft drinks and prefer other beverages like lemon juice and coconut water, both of which can be refreshing with minimal calories.
  2. TV watching: Eating while watching TV is something which is a very prominent cause of gaining fat. Usually while on screen we tend to forget how much we have taken in and most of time we realize this when a packet full of chips becomes empty!!
  3. Lack of sleep: It has been shown that due to lack of sleep our hormone cycle gets disturbed and the cortisol levels change, leading to weight gain. Second if we remain awake for long time we tend to eat more , there by gaining extra calories.
  4. Shopping when hungry: Research has shown that when we buy our grocery when we are hungry, you tend to buy things which are easy to grab and are high in calorie dense. Hence always have a healthy food before you go for shopping.
  5. Desserts: Eating something after main course often leads to high calorie food intake like ice cream, sweets. So instead of these, try to take simple deserts like lemon water, or something non caloric. Best is to avoid it completely.
  6. Time of meal: Most of the time we try to postpone or skip our meal, ultimately this leads to severe hunger, making us eat whatever we can grab immediately. Most of the time this is high caloric fast food. Always plan your meals and carry healthy food items with you like fruits, sandwiches.
  7. Fat free/ sugar free food: Fat free or sugar free foods are not calorie free food items. We should always look for the portion size and amount of calorie we are going to have.
  8. Lack of exercise: Not taking time out for your regular exercise makes you gain weight and also makes you lazy.
  9. Going out to eat: Frequent outings leads to increase in the consumption of food high in calorie, sugar and salt, leading to weight gain. Restrict your outings to not more than once or twice a month.
  10. Dehydration: Drink lots of water, so that you keep on flushing out harmful toxins.

So to avoid being obese eat healthy and exercise regularly.

Dear, Flow of bleeding during first day is less and increase day by day . But if your flow is very less in during cycle , So these are Causes of low flow of blood in periods are : * Due to Anaemia (low Hb level in body is anemia ) * Due to hormonal imbalance * Stress * obesity These are some instructions given below to make normal flow during periods : • Take proper diet full of nutrition . Eat green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits and a glass of milk daily. Eat a fruit and a bowl of cereal daily . • Do Not take stress because stress causes imbalance in hormones of female and make your menstrual cycle disturb and make your ovulation disturb .Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for maintain hormonal balance. • Do jogging and running exercise daily .Start these exercise for 3 to 4 minutes daily then increase time slowly . If you are obese loose some weight this is also a cause of irregular periods. • you can take these medicines for regular periods. Syrup Dashmolarisht or ,syrup EVECARE of himalya. 2 tsf daily once in a day after meal.

It looks low. Please repeat after 48 hours to know whether there is an increase. Do an ultrasound and correlate. Low hcg indicates either late conception, or abnormal intra uterine pregnancy or pregnancy in the tubes. Please check with your gynaecologist.
